• Glenda (5/5): Disappointed - The cost of a night with what you got or didn't get in your room. Them taking a nights payment when you booked then sending all their requirements after this. It felt like you couldn't cancel as you would have lost 1 nights payment. Names of rooms listed didn't match between booking site and holiday park, so very confusing to know if you had towels/sheets etc provided or not, but for the price per night both of these things should have been provided plus tea/coffee etc.

• Helen (8/5): A great stay at a great park! - We stayed in a cabin, which was well serviced with base sheets and pillows provided (we brought our sleeping bags). The kitchen and bathroom facilities were great - spacious and well-equipped. The additional artwork on the walls in the kitchen/dining areas demonstrated great character, which we enjoyed. There was plenty to keep the kids occupied, and the location right near the beach, park etc. was awesome. The weather! ;-)

• Amanda (8/5): Warm, comfortable, budget friendly for all types of travelers - Everything you would expect at a holiday park. A great selection of accommodations to fit all needs and budgets. We stayed in a "TV cabin" which is just a standard cabin, that can sleep up to 5, with TV, heater, jug and toaster. was warm, comfortable and situated close to the beach track which was lovely. We also moved to a self contained 2 room unit. These also sleep up to 5, with a kitchenette, lounge and private bathroom. Great use of space, warm, comfortable beds and everything needed for our stay. Staff are lovely, welcoming and so helpful. We have really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful park Just a reminder if you are not in a self contained unit to have plates/utensils if you are wanting to use the kitchen. Not a complaint just something to pass on so you are prepared if you are wanting to dine in, kitchen is great

Good to see all the improvements of the grounds & the pillow install & more tent spaces. Lots of "out of order" in kitchen. Would be great if there were some basic kitchen equipment to use. Powered & unpowered spaces not that big & no open space to throw/kick a ball, however big park right next door. Cabins were great for a few nights but I'd prefer more space if I was camping for a week! But that's just personal preference

• Majorguesty (8/5): Great camping park, bus to Dunedin - We enjoyed staying at the Dunedin Holiday Park. We were there for 2 nights in a small camper van. Facilities were good. I only gave 4 star as I felt the two communal kitchens weren't maintained as well as they could be. As in, some appliances didn't work, some sinks without stoppers, mixed selection of cookware, crockery, cutlery. Not enough tea cloths. It's great that in these things were available..but all...or nothing should be the mantra. We went into Dunedin on the bus as the bus stop is right in front of the caravan park, in a little black shelter back from the kerbside. We didn't have the coins to pay for this (asked about the bus the night before at Reception, as from Australia and had being paying for everything with card). Bianca was amazing and lent us the 6 dollars! We withdrew money at a Dunedin cashpoint, and paid her back the next evening. We really like the communal TV room...got to relax but also chat to other campers.

• alicelynnk (2/5): Lacking in Every Way - Horrible! I came in a camper van to use the share kitchen and bathrooms. The shared kitchen had old, scratched cook ware, the burners didn't work, only 1 small plate and 1 bowl. The facilities were the worst I had seen in all of New Zealand... not clean, run down, and lacking all of the items that would make a functioning communal kitchen.

• Keca66 (4/5): Good bus route into Dunedin, but short/lacking in other areas. - A park in a good location by St Kilda beach. Bus #3 takes you in to Dunedin for $3 cash each. The wifi is poor to non-existent, the nearest toilet block was crossed out on the map as unavailable, others are OK, but for some strange reason one of the amenity blocks was closed off for cleaning at 9:25am. Why not after 10am when all the check-outs should have departed and not in the hour when everyone is finishing off the packing up before leaving? Also it appears that the Lodge at the park is used for school trips. So depending on your requirements, you may not enjoy being woken up or disturbed by teachers/guardians blowing whistles or asking everyone to line up in two lines! OK for one night, due to bus route location, but nothing more.

The only problem was for the wife getting into the ladies toilets/shower room, the pin pad was a bit tricky.......sometimes it worked......sometimes it didn't......had to wait for someone to exit in order to get in. Same issue for 5 other campers as well.

Parallel parking spaces very tight for long vehicles (only for the self-contained cabins). Couldn't get into my park one night (out of 7) so parked elsewhere in the complex for that night.

One of the kitchens is a disgrace. Four ring hob only 3 work. Two ring hob does not work. Cooker does not work at all. Tabletop large oven, door loose and needs a clean. Not sure it works. Table top, 2x two ring hobs, seem to work. One kitchen sink, has no taps! Would not take much to bring this up to standard. It is supposed to be 4 star campsite

• Raeline (6/5): Nice and clean stay with lovely warm bedding as well. - The unit was nice and clean and the location a short distance from the beach was awesome. We had booked a couple of rooms not realizing that they didn’t have linen. The staff were friendly and accommodating to be able to switch rooms on arrival which was appreciated. Maybe some heating in the room would have been nice as it was quite cool. A little more space would have been great so that we weren’t on top of each other, but for them to make a change on our booking on arrival over rules this.
• Liz (8/5): Good communal kitchen and laundry and bbq, on the whole we had a good stay - 2 bedrooms We were booked to stay in a box with no kitchen or ensuite and were swapped to a flat with kitchen and ensuite which was lovely. The power had been off that day and the fridge had defrosted but it wasn't checked before we entered, so the floor was very wet and slippery.
