Close to Litchfield NP “Kitchenette” was a sink under a shade cloth awning, with a table & old cupboard at the end with cutlery & crockery. Cabin had a bag containing the last guests rubbish on the table when we arrived. Showers had others old soap in there & unclean.
- Shane (7/5): A time warp back to the 1980's. - The staff member who checked us in was lovely. The place has all the facilities you would need. It's in a great location, near the restaurant in town. It's reasonable value. The property is very old, and our cabin was also very old (although they have new cabins on site). This was not an issue for us, but those booking a room like ours should not expect anything fancy or new. While the linen was clean, the surfaces like the bench tops, the fridge etc were not clean at all. The WiFi also did not work. The ablution block near our room has had almost no modifications for decades and is definitely in need of some upgrades. The place is good if you have the right expectations.

All these stuff are cleaned including body wash, hair wash, and if it includes some slippers, it would be better. The trash basket is difficult to open; if it can be changed, it will be a better experience everything is good.

Dodatkowym atutem jest prywatna łazienka z prysznicem. Zaletą jest także bezpośredni parking tuż przed wejściem. Posiłki można zjeść w sąsiadującej restauracji. Ośrodek oferuje ciekawą atrakcję, jaką jest karmienie papug, a poranki umilają śpiewające ptaki. Basen jest również w porządku. Cena za ten standard wydaje się wysoka, jednak jest to najniższa dostępna oferta w najbliższej okolicy.

Unfriendly phone call querying my late arrival at 8pm despite submitting late arrival request the day before with disparaging remark about booking.com. Cabin is in a dire need to repairs/renovation - cracked hand basin, floors damaged, doors difficult to lock, walls need repainting. Lots of spiders in room, room didn’t look cleaned out recently.

We asked at reception and the answer we got was that they had wifi in reception so it should work everywhere else. No pool towels on offer or to rent.

- Barry (6/5): A basic cabin. - Cabin mini kitchen was good, balcony was a good size with table & 2 chairs which we found useful. The park itself was well maintained, we made use of the clothes lines. Loved the bird feeding each afternoon. Parking right outside the cabin was great. The cabin fittings were old & in poor condition. Chairs were falling apart, the shower cubicle was very badly stained, hand basin broken & the smallest we have ever seen. It was impossible to wash hands or clean teeth without putting water everywhere. Also the bed was on castors on a wooden floor with no locks, so it moved easily and was annoying. The whole cabin was not cleaned properly...there was used soap, complete with a couple of hairs, left in the soap tray, hairs on the floor of the shower, fridge needed a clean inside, generally not clean.

- campbell-cowie (8/5): - Very helpful and friendly staff. The whole park was clean and well kept. There was a great variety of wildlife and plenty of shade. There was excellent food and drinks available from the restaurant / service station a short stroll next door, and the staff there were great as well. I'd definitely stay at Batchelor Holiday Park again next time I'm up this way.

- George (8/5): Met our needs - This is extremely basic - you are sleeping in what appears to be a repurposed shipping container - but it fulfilled our needs - felt very safe, showers/toilets excellent, and near a nice restaurant. Check-in a little tricky. Make sure you have a phone with Telstra as needed to call host and signal very tricky.
