There is plenty to do inside the grounds too if you don’t feel like venturing out. What’s not to like? It is a lovely little van park that seems to be owned by locals - if you’re expecting the Hilton, then that’s on you.

Jess (1/5): DISGUSTING, PUTRID, UNSAFE LIST COULD GO ON - I liked nothing about it. Everything !! The staff was rude, our cabin was disgusting there was cockroaches on a bed and climbing up the walls there was black mould in every room, there was no shampoo or conditioner, when I asked the lady if I could speak to someone else she said she would send the manager down, which never turned up, the receptionist brought down spray for the cockroach’s we asked to move cabins as we had 3 small kids with us, we were told no, they had advised on there website wifi heated pool, no internet and no heated pool, the bed sheets were dirty, the pool was very hard to get in too no steps just a step slop, the park was very loud u could hear people talking from there cabin from ours, HIGHLY DISGUSTED would not recommend at all, over priced, when asked for a refund and we would leave and travel almost 5 hours home and cancel the kids holiday we were told NO and then just looked at like we were being dramatic, there was also a note on the kitchen table if u do not wash dry and put away your dishes u will be charged minimum $100 for cleaning.

Being self serviced cabins, we were very comfortable to ask for additional towels, and received them with a smile. The location is walking distance to many cafes, safe and patrolled beaches, chemist, shops etc Although the facilities are dated, they are kept extremely clean. There is a restaurant, which offers takeaway, a small childs park, mini golf and well maintained, clean pool. Happy hour with locals and guests. please keep the pool open a little later in the warmer months, however, this maybe due to consideration of park locals and guests, plus staff finishing for the day.

Katherine (8/5): It was enjoyable and very family friendly. - The property was well maintained, there were bins located in close proximity of all cabins. The pool was clean and the playground was great. It had a very good family vibe. We stayed a week and with two kids the floors get messy and the cabins are not serviced. Instead of a broom and dustpan a hand held vacuum cleaner should be provided as the carpets can’t be cleaned with the broom. Our cabin was spacious however, it needed more dusting, better knives, another large bowl, not just one, some pegs and proper hand wash should be provided in the bathroom instead of the soap bars. Staff were a helpful but a little rude with their response.

The cabin was very old and small; it felt like she gave us the oldest and smallest one in the entire caravan park. The bed was uncomfortable for a 9‑night stay. They really need to update the mattresses and, if possible, the bed as well, since it was small and could not fit a couple. I cannot recommend this caravan park. The pool is small, the playground very basic, and we also felt overcrowded due to the large number of caravan tents and people. The caravan park is too small to accommodate such a high volume of guests.
