- Jason (10/5): Excellent motel, clean room, great restaurant - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barcaldine Country Motor Inn. We booked the standard motel room - please note these are in a separate building on the next block - very easy walking distance from reception though. We were able to park directly outside our room. Our room and bathroom was very clean and well maintained. We used the onsite restaurant one night of our stay - great food and reasonable prices. The only thing I think was missing was a ceiling fan in our room, otherwise all was excellent.

Realistic size parking bays with the roof high enough to fit my 4 x 4! Nice to have someone advising covered parking that is useable. The motel is well placed in town, everything within walking distance.

The wall to the next room must have been thin, because although we could not hear talking, we could hear snoring (loudly) for most of the night. The fridge made a bit of noise too. I lost my key at the supermarket, and it was kindly sent back and the reception staff let me know. Excellent service! Thank you. Overall friendly, comfortable and clean.

There was a stuff up with the bill and the person at the desk didn’t know how to do a refund. It was all sorted in the end but a pain in the arse after a 1000 km trip
