Short drive to food and shops and comfo - Pets allowed (cat friendly which is hard to find), room was big and spacious and had all amenities there (laundry, pool - although was not in use when I stayed but looked lovely) Could be a bit noisey in the pet friendly rooms when people were talking outside the laundry room

I asked for a cancellation 3 days before once they messaged me about no pets. No answer, was all done through booking.com so legit. I had to pay for the motel and another where I could actually stay. Very very poor customer service I booked because it was pet friendly then after they took my money they said they don't have a pet friendly room. • Andreas (6/5): - Im zimmer hat es aufgrund von einem müffeligen Teppich etwas unangenem gerochen, die Einrichtung war veraltet und könnte Erneuerung vertragen. Der krönende Abschluss war, dass am Abreisetag das Zimmermädchen bereits um 8 Uhr angeklopft hat, trotz check-out zeit um 10 Uhr. Beim Checkout wurde mir gesagt dass sie eigentlich erst um 9 Uhr klopfen würden, was in meinen Augen dennoch fragwürdig ist, weil offiziell check-out erst um 10 Uhr ist. Das Wasser im Pool war auch eher trüb, daher hab ich diesen nicht genutzt. Eine Fensterscheibe war gebrochen und nur notdürftig mit Klebeband repariert.

Clean rooms and bathroom with all the essentials provided. Comfy beds, clean linen and towels. Friendly owner and staff. I definitely recommend country plaza for your next stay over in mackay.

No motel restaurant as the room information had stated. Only a small refund was given as compensation for our inconvenience with the hot water system. Very disappointing.

If I have to find something to complain about it would be that the bathroom sink wasn't in the bathroom, but it really wasn't a huge inconvenience

• Maria (8/5): Very pet friendly, excellent host and comfortable rooms. - It was pet friendly at a good price without excessive costs for my two dogs. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. It had a nice pool area. Great sheets! Good sized fridge. It’s not brand new but it’s a budget hotel, so totally fine. The owner said he’s got plans to improve it.
