Jenni (7/5): Horseshoe bay - Super close to the beach. The amentities block lights are on a timer. And it is dark in there even though the day. So trying to shower or use the toilets was not great in the dark. Especially if you have children.

We were able to book a few side by side with a group of friends with a grassed area in front of the rooms for the kids to play.

Bernadette (9/5): - Our unit had a lovely view of Horseshoe Bay. The meals at the cafe were superb. Also loved swimming in Grey's Bay and watching the sunset there. Not much bench area for use in the small bathroom.
Meilea (6/5): Pleasant but I wouldn’t be able to stay here for more than 2 nights if there is more than 2 of you in a cabin. - Great location right near the water. Was clean. Our cabin was adjacent to the road with the bedroom on the roadside. Was noisy. You wouldn’t open the bedroom window due to privacy facing the road. The design of the cabin was lacking, with the bunks in a walk through situation.

Tramayne (10/5): Perfect location and comfortable enough for an overnight in a Cabin Van - We love Bowen as it is just down the road from us. We chose to stay at Horseshoe bay carvan park as it is cheap and very close to the beach and cafe. Love the cocktails and food here!! We are dinner and breakfast at the cafe. We don't mind sharing bathrooms ( as we booked the Cabin Van). It's a life lesson for our boys in terms of travelling on a budget. Our Cabin Van was also down the bottom end ( beach) with a view of the beach this time!! When you are down the bottom the closest bathrooms aren't far - you just have to walk through a dirt car park.... not the end of the world. There is also only one shower and 2 toilets, but you can walk up to the main bathrooms if you prefer. Pool was pretty warm and could do with a scrub but it was still nice after a few hours at the beach. The spa section is out of action, also not a major issue.

Hinderika (7/5): Goede locatie - De locatie is top Overal bordjes dat je alles zelf moet opruimen etc. Dat je je eigen afwas doet snap ik nog. Maar de prullenbakken legen, anders krijg je daarvoor een boete? Volgens mij hebben wij meer dan genoeg betaald voor de accommodatie. Daarom neem ik het mee in de beoordeling van prijs kwaliteit verhouding en personeel. De receptioniste was heel vriendelijk, maar puur om alle bordjes die er hingen met het dreigement dat er een boete aanhangt als je het verblijf niet goed genoeg achterlaat.
