• Jessica (7/5): - The staff were very friendly. Good size room, comfortable bed. You cant get breakfast until 10am which is check out time, so we had to wait in the car for abit while it was raining and we were very hungry! But the chicken waffles were amazing!

• Belinda (8/5): Quiet, comfortable and a good restaurant - perfect for an overnight stay - Comfortable and quiet rooms, close to the airport and an excellent pub/restaurant for dinners.

• Susan (7/5): Perfect for an overnight as near the airport - Close to airport and great value for money , we were only there for an overnight stop so it was perfect as it is a little out of town if you want to explore further . It describes itself as an English pub , there is a nice courtyard set up as a beer garden and they play music but this is turned off by 9 so not a problem if you need an early night . The food there looked good but we didn’t eat there . It’s a little dated but very clean and comfortable We had to leave early so it would have been good to be able to access something for breakfast eg croissants or fruit but other than that all fine

• Isobel (6/5): I had a pleasant stay overall. It was great to be able to walk from the airport - Location is lovely. Enjoyed the friendly and efficient staff. I was grateful that the outdoor music stopped at 9pm My main negative rating for my stay was the lack of availability of breakfast on the Sunday morning of my stay. I had to wait until the restaurant opened at 10am to order a cheese scone (which was delicious by the way). If breakfast was available it certainly wasn’t mentioned in the information book in my room.

• darryl (6/5): If it wasn’t Xmas and demand high we would have moved on - Bar was good staff very friendly and helpful but it was expensive for what it was, advertising didn’t match up. The hallways were not vacuumed and the whole place looked a little tired and in need of a revamp. It was much smaller than the photos showed, very close to airport with flights at 4-5am. The Resturant and bar played precedence over the accommodation.

There’s also a microwave outside the rooms which was nice for heating up a quick meal No mesh on windows so little flies would come in when windows are open. It was stuffy inside the room when windows are closed. Mattresses were too soft and difficult to sleep on

• wendy (9/5): Have stayed here several times, love the vibe - Room clean and tidy, comfy bed, quiet area, small place down hallway with microwave, plates etc, very useful if wanting to prepare own food, good restaurant onsite, a very quaint older style accommodation with lots of character Stairs which my husband finds difficult. The units on ground floor were fully booked

Staff friendly and go all out to make sure your stay is good. Our room was above the pub and outdoor area, and this was noisy, but fortunately by 9.30/10pm it stopped.

We were there in spring and found the room to hot too sleep, so can’t imagine how warm it must get in summers. In our room we could hear the music from the pub until 10 pm, after that super quiet. So for adults okay, but with kids could be an issue.

We found out too late in the evening -1130-so said nothing as l am sure they would have resolved the issue for us

• Marie-Laure (8/5): Beautiful place - Beautiful building and surroundings and the fact to be able to dinner at the same place we stayed. Nice walk around. Close to the airport. The waitress was friendly and we felt welcome. We struggled to find a parking spot as hotel guests, and we had all our luggage with us. It would be very helpful to have some clearly allocated spaces for hotel guests, restaurant customers, and campervans, which often need two spaces. We also had to wait almost 1 hour for our food after ordering because our order had been forgotten. The food was expensive regarding the quality. We asked for crunchy fries and they arrived not well cooked and white... after 1 hour of waiting.

Coffee machine or pods in the room. There’s no cafes around open til 10.am in the area so you have to drive a distance for a decent coffee. Instant just doesn’t cut it. Yuk
• Allan (1/5): Disappointed and room in serious need of renovation - - Didn’t stay This hotel was a dive, seriously needs $ spent on it. The room was grotty, the mattress sat like a wave on the bed bases. Really old furniture, terribly disappointed, so sort alternative accommodation for night !

• Daniel (10/5): - Reception was hard to find at night, or I'm just a blind idiot whondidnt see the signs... We were welcomed by the manager who was very friendly and helped us with the checkin and getting wine and dessert sent to the room, even thought the kitchen had already closed. The room was large and clean. My wife said she felt like she was staying in an old castle room, in a good way. Im pretty sure we booked the larger room on the property. The bathroom was huge, and clean. The mattress was a little soft/lumpy but we were hiking so still slept ok. There are planes flying over at night since you are right by the airport but it stops from around 10pm-6am. Overall a comfortable stay. Of the mattress was new, i would have given 5 stars for comfort. The pub was excellent, high quality and delicious food. Hailey, our server was friendly and attentive. Thank you! 9/10 would stay again! 10/10 with a new mattress!
