- Rivet (10/5): -
- Monise (10/5): - All
- Melissa (9/5): The tent accommodation was great. Loved the location. Keppel is absolutely beautiful. - Loved the tent, location, everything that we needed was on site.
The caretakers were 10/10. So welcoming and accommodating. If I had to find one negative was the ammenities shower and toilet are dated
- Regina (10/5): - Hospitality of Tim, the friendly relaxed vibes. The rent and facilities were clean and looked after. Nothing
- Kiana (10/5): -
- Sofi (10/5): -
- Natasha (8/5): - The new managers Katie and Tim were excellent!!!
- Sarah (9/5): Best place to stay on the island - We had such a lovely stay here. Walking in, it honestly felt like being in Bali - really peaceful with beautiful rainforest vibes. The tent itself was spacious and airy, which made it super comfortable to relax in.
A really nice touch was the free snorkelling gear available to use. When we arrived on the island, the team were there to greet us and helped transport our gear back to the village, which made everything feel seamless from the start.
Will definitely be back to stay. The toilet and shower facilities could use a bit of a refresh
- Kylie (10/5): Absolute paradise! - It was so relaxed! Get back to basics! Our tent was so comfortable, waking up to birds and nature! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so accomodating. Nothing, can’t wait to go back

- Crystal (10/5): - Need outside lights near table and chairs. More environmental information around. More native plants
- Lachlan (7/5): -
- Guus (9/5): Paradijs in paradijs - De gastheer is geweldig! Relaxed, lief, vertrouwd en grappig. Het community gevoel is heel bijzonde, iedereen voelt zich direct thuis.de plek is paradijselijk en het slapen in een tent was geweldig. Niks, zelfs de knulligheid hebben we omarmd.
- Linda (7/5): Lovely stay, have stayed before and will definitely return again. Basic accommodation but everything needed is there. - Great location, very accommodating staff. Adding two children to the booking took the price up substantially even in the same sized room.
- Amanda (8/5): Gorgeous place, sweetest host and prime location. Highly recommend. - The host was just so lovely and welcoming! Really helped make the place be a vibe. Rooms didn’t have aircon. It’s on us, we didn’t double check to make sure there would be one, but kind of expected it to be a standard issue for a room, on an island, in Queensland.
- Laura (10/5): Excellent relaxing time - Very peaceful location to enjoy nature and beach.
- Tracy (9/5): Sunshine, relaxation, rejuvenation, joy! - Communal areas were excellent, well run and maintained. Beaches were incredible and the staff were superb. Free snorkelling equipment available to explore the reefs was also excellent. Loved our holiday. What’s not to like?
- Joshua (7/5): -
- Rebekah (10/5): A very laid back, relaxing and fun stay on a stunning island. Highly recommend and we will be back! - Love the vibe, staff and facilities. Particularly loved the snorkelling gear provided and the hammocks. It would have been convenient to have a bath towel and some body wash provided
- Teagan (9/5): Extremely welcoming & accommodating, we will definitely be back. -

- Maria (10/5): - Fiquei no glamping e adorei a experiência. Tinha ventoinha e também se podia abrir as cortinas da tenda para entrar vento. O alojamento está ao lado da praia e vêm nos buscar de carrinha ao barco para não termos que caminhar com as malas :)

- Jack (10/5): - Everything Its absolutely awesome
- Luke (6/5): -
- Lee (7/5): Think basic back packer accommodation and you won’t be disappointed - Great hosts and great company, meeting many other travellers both local and from far away. Chilled vibe, very basic accommodation but overall, lots of fun. The whole place needs some investment spent on it as everything is looking well past its use by date and for $150 per night for a tent, I expected the place to present a lot better than it did.
- Stephanie (10/5): A stay to remember :) - Friendly hosts and amazing location. Exceptionally clean. It was peaceful and quiet, if you are looking for party spot this is not it - for us it was perfect. Nothing
- Jocelyn (7/5): Great located, friendly, fun accommodation for those on a budget - Relaxed atmosphere and natural surroundings with daily sightings of native fauna Suggestions: More sensor lighting both on paths and on tent exteriors. A coatrack for hanging clothes up inside tents, standard lamp or overhead light in tent.
- Madison (10/5): relaxing, adventurous, social - Great Keppel island is so beautiful. The staff and other travellers really make the holiday village what it is. It is a very warm and inviting place.
- Jane (10/5): Fabulous - The location was fabulous, the place was really well managed and the atmosphere was really welcoming. The glamping tent was clean and comfortable and located in a lovely garden.

- Irene (10/5): It was my second trip. Will be back next year. - Secluded. Bird life amazing. Swimming and snorkelling - amazing.
Food - scrumptious!!! I had to leave it!!
- Jeske (8/5): -
- Geraldine (8/5): Relaxing and laid back retreat in the forest by the beach. - Such a lovely place with a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Yabba is a warm and very welcoming person and explained all about the village. Our glamping tent was lovely, really clean and had everything we needed. We really liked that the village was quieter and less 'crazy' than the other large resort next door. Our fellow guests were respectful and mindful of noise later into the evening. The shared shower rooms were clean and adequate, and kitchen was also very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning :-) We found the double bed a bit small.
- Roy (3/5): A vast difference between what was advertised and what was delivered - No towels soap refrigerator. Pedestal fan did not oscillate painted concrete floor, no spare blankets or cupboards. No cups, saucers tea/coffee, milk etc I booked a cabin received “Family Room “ little better than a tent! Cost $154 one night 2 people
- Virginie (10/5): -
- Te wairua (10/5): Totally Worth it!!! - Rach and Ben were as the reviews said, very accommodating, helpful and over all good genuine people. Geoff Mercer, you picked the best of the best mate! Loved our one night stay in the glamper tents, cosy and slept like a log. Great arvo snorkelling at Plutneys Beach with the free snorkel gear and over all absolutely perfect for us and just what I needed as a solo FIFO mum. When it was time to check out, we had a 3hr difference for the Ferry to arrive, I had medicines that needed to be kept refrigerated and Rach was more than accommodating and allowed us to continue to utilise the communal fridge till our departure. Absolute legends!! We will definitely be back and encourage others to visit also ☺️☺️☺️☺️ That I didnt book longer lol
- Stuart (10/5): - Amazing place and hosts. Sociable and relaxed. Hope to come back Good to bring mosquito repellent but didn't spoil it

- Karen (9/5): Had a great time despite the rain - Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. A sense of generosity. Clean Nothing
- Kate (8/5): Easy, affordable and welcoming - Friendly and helpful staff who genuinely want you to have a great time and pay attention to the details. Rooms cheap ...but that's OK given the price!
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Amazingly friendly and helpful managers and staff. The focus is clearly on guest's and visitor's experience of this beautiful island rather than on making money from them. The village has a relaxed atmosphere where you can be as social or as introverted as you like. No tired, fake smiles there, just genuine people who love working in paradise and want you to enjoy it too. Can't rate this place highly enough.

- Stephen (10/5): An amazing island escape untouched by the progress of time, perfect! - Everything
- Pietrantuono (10/5): Amazing experience! - Our stay at Great Keppel Island Holiday Village was absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations! The managers, Jeppe and Anthony, were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we felt welcome every step of the way. Their team of volunteers was also wonderful—friendly, approachable, and full of good energy.
We were impressed by how clean and organized everything was. The team was constantly ensuring the facilities were spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. On top of that, we loved having access to the snorkeling gear—it added an extra layer of fun to our experience.
We were invited to join yoga classes, share meals, go to the beach in their cars, and so much more. It truly felt like being part of a little community rather than just a guest. We made friendships with the volunteers and shared beautiful moments together.
The level of care and hospitality from the entire team was exceptional, and we left with nothing but gratitude. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Without a doubt, I’ll be recommending this place to everyone.
Thank you for such a magical experience!
- Tannis (8/5): Very good - We stayed in a glamping tent, and the whole experience was a bit like staying in an outdoor youth hostel. The location is very good and the grounds are beautiful, lots of trees and birds, easy access to restaurants. The hosts are exceptional. The atmosphere is very friendly and casual.
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bevan (10/5): Reasonably priced, great location, and top operators. Couldn't ask for more. Thumbs up! - Very relaxed and friendly budget resort on Great Keppel Island. We stayed in one of the onsite 'eco glamping' (my term not theirs) tents and it was fantastic. Anthony and Jappa (pronounced Yappa) were both very nice guys, nothing was too much trouble, lots of helpful suggestions. Free snorkeling gear for the length of your stay and lots of info.
Good communal kitchen facilities, with ample fridge and freezer space. Adequate toilet and bathroom facilities. Although these facilities are older they are kept extremely clean and were a pleasure to use.
Located a very short walk to the main resort entertainment hub of the island. Nothing - I didn't want to leave !!
- Julian (8/5): Very relaxing -
- Collins (8/5): Very good atmosphere and relaxed holiday feel - Relaxed and friendly and good vibes No key to lock door
