Harriet (10/5): Beautiful stay, will be returning - Fantastic location. On Hastings street so in the middle of everything, but it’s set back so not loud even on the weekend. The apartment itself was gorgeous. Really nicely decorated, all facilities needed, huge comfy bed, beautiful view onto the river. Clean, easy to lock up when you go out, cool for in summer. The kitchen was fully stocked with crockery and a large fridge freezer. Plenty of room to dry clothes after you’ve washed them too (small bonus compared to other apartments). The sofa was comfortable to relax on. Parking was a bonus! Pool area was relaxing, the pool itself a great size and temperature. Loved the fact there was a bbq and seating too. Staff were incredibly helpful and very accommodating. Checking in was easy which is a nice change from lots of other apartments again (a lock box). Really recommend Jacaranda, we’ll be back for sure. Great value for money too! The beach is just a walk across the street, or down the road to your left too. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, a bottle shop, clothing and souvenir shops within 2 minutes too! Only minor is that the garden is not private (shared with all downstairs apartments). Not a huge issue but worth noting.

Heshani (9/5): Location, location, location! - Convenient, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. On Hastings so easy access to all cafes and shops. Super comfortable beds. We had a 2 bedroom so also came with a car park space.

Two times we saw a cockroach. We mentioned to the staff that the room was not clean, there was no reaction.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - Great location on Hastings Street and despite the hustle and bustle you sought refuge back at the peaceful apartments. Walking distance to beautiful beaches, restaurants, bars and shops. Great facilities in the apartment with the kitchen having all utensils etc., The bathroom was tired and dated although clean. Not enough towels but this was rectified at reception. The washing machine rubber seal was badly soiled with soap scum! This needs to be replaced and cleaned frequently!! A notice to residents about leaving the door open when not in use will help once sorted.

The beds and the pillows were very comfortable and the aircon was sufficient for the heat. The kitchen was equipped enough for our needs as we have breakfast in the property everyday. It was great that we can borrow sandtoys for free as well. The pool was kid friendly and we used it everyday. The tv has netflix which was great too. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Unfortunately, we found some of the previous guests’ old food in the fridge and a top that they left in the cabinet. But otherwise the place looked clean. It was also hard to bring our luggages up and down as we were in the 3rd floor and there were no lifts.

Ursel Bettina (9/5): Edel und gepflegt - Super Lage und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.. da ich nur ein Appartement gebucht hatte war unklar ob ich einen Parkplatz bekommen würde.. das war aber dann kein Problem.. sogar schattig und ohne Zuzahlung.. und der Pool war sehr hübsch angelegt Das Zimmer war erst um 15.30 frei und um 10.00 sollte man schon wieder auschecken.. war jetzt für mich nicht so schlimm zumal ich den Wagen noch etwas länger dort lassen konnte
Joanne (8/5): There were many more pros than cons with my stay at Jacaranda Apartments. I would stay again. - I booked a studio apartment on the ground floor. The room was very clean which was a relief (I've had others in different towns that were not clean) It was also a good sized room with a King bed and a single bed, TV with Netflix, ceiling fan and air conditioner, basic kitchenette, ironing facilities, small table and chairs. The apartments are on Hastings St but set well back from the busy street front which helped with being a bit quieter and very private. The outside areas are well attended and tidy. I was late arriving and was left my room key in a lock code box with the code for the pedestrian gate to get inside. It's secure from Hastings St and there is another coded pedestrian gate that goes out the back onto the boardwalk to the river and ferry. Car parking through a coded gate at entrance. The location was terrific. It's on Hastings St so has easy access to good cafes, restaurants, shops and the main beach. Great if on foot. Being a studio apartment the room did not have a washing machine and there isn't one for use except if you ask reception and then they may put a load on for you if you need it. There is a front loader at the back of reception which I found a bit odd and I was reluctant to ask someone I didn't know to wash my clothes. There is a launderette in Noosaville which is not a convenient option especially if you don't have a car. A single machine in a small corner of the facility block looked easily achievable to me. The shower in my room was a bit smallish but okay, the problem is that you have to step up quite high to get into it and then down again onto the floor to get out. I found it a bit precarious and it may not be suitable for someone with balance issues. The hot water filling up after you turn a tap on makes a bit of noise but it's not for long. It could be a minor disturbance if a person in the next apartment is having a midnight shower or flushes the loo. There was nowhere to sit comfortably in the apartment, no couch or easy chair. Only a small table with 2 plastic chairs and while not uncomfortable for a short time if you want to watch TV you have to prop yourself on the bed. A couch would fit nicely if they removed the single bed that's against the wall. The kitchenette is basic with just a kettle, tea caddy, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and some crockery and cutlery which is fine but if you wanted to cook for yourself maybe there are better facilities in one of the larger apartments. My room was on the ground floor behind the pool. It was very noisy when people were playing in the water, especially kids screaming and splashing. The pool is supposed to close at 9pm so shouldn't be a problem for sleeping but be aware that if you don't want to be near the pool don't get a ground floor room or one that overlooks that area.

Loretta (10/5): Wished we stayed longer! We will be booking here yearly. - The rooms are large and had everything you needed in them. Lots of utensils, cupboard space etc. the view to the river and easy access to the boardwalk behind and easy access to Hastings street and beach in front. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Susan (10/5): Perfect holiday! We'll be back. - The location was exceptional! We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment which was absolutely beautiful. A 2 minute walk to the main beach and the ferry was right outside the back door. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. I can't rate this place highly enough. We will not be looking elsewhere next visit.
Alan (8/5): Great location, lovely staff, cracking looking pool and areas to cook Barbie etc but try and get a better room if availa - On arrival the staff were amazing and the studio room was clean as a whistle. The climb up 3 flights of stairs with huge suitcases wasn’t the best and the fact the room never got turned down during the entire stay wasn’t very good at all. Also there was dishes to use for takeaway food but no means of washing them except for the sink in the bathroom. This seemed rather strange. The climb to the top floors are fine for us, but I would not recommend for elderly guests

Julie (10/5): Nice being able to walk everywhere and not worry about parking. - Location Had to stay up until the neighbours came off to turn the hallway light off. The gap around my front door let all the light in and lit up my room at night. Also the fans didn’t work.
sandra (2/5): Too expensive, no privacy or safety having strangers walking into - Location The apartment owner had his keys to the apartment and just walked in while we were there! Felt very unsafe knowing he could have gone through our things while we were out. Not to mention we were in the apartment when he just walked in!

No real kitchenette just appliances in a cupboard and wash up in the tiny bathroom/ toilet basin! The bed was good and the air conditioning. The pool and pool area were good and great location. Riley and Kim were very good staff but the other cleaning lady was not friendly at all!

Allan (5/5): The real issue is the value for money. The area is very expensive and I just have to accept that - The bed was very comfortable and the owner was thoughtful. No ability to cook other than a microwave. It was a converted ensuite bedroom into a studio. The toilet could do with a very good clean.
