Anon (2/5): The budget accommodation is very disappointing. - The on-line photos look very appealing. These look like they're of the attractive front section of the motel. The back section is old and very tired. Ceiling slumping. Power points loose on walls. Dirty footprints on bathroom wall. Greasy handprint stains on toilet. Dirty marks on bathroom door. Inconsiderate fellow guests reversing mine vehicles (beep beep beep) at 5.30am. Mostly absent manager.

Karen (8/5): Will definitely stay here again - The room was very clean, the staff were brilliant and very friendly. They waved goodbye when we left like we were family :) There was a basketball hoop for the kids to play with, which we spent hours at.
Verified traveler (6/5): not the greatest - I've stayed here a few times now, but i will not stay here again. The last two times in particular I have asked for a room with the parking out the front, as I am a sales rep & I have a lot of valuable goods in my car. When I checked in- both times I asked again & was assured that Yes I definitely did. I parked the car, then I had to go to my appointment & upon return from my appointment BOTH times the car space was taken . In a certain area of the motel people are told they can just park anywhere. This is not suitable for everyone. This is definitely not suitable for me, particularly when I have asked for parking out the front the last two times & have not received it upon my return. very disappointing. You also get woken up approximately 4.30am by miners leaving for work.

Mark. (6/5): Moranbah outback motel. - Staff were good and friendly, the main issue was the room although it was clean, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows had no body to them and were flat. The band next door at the licensed established played very loud music. I was very tired and needed an early night so much for that. I think there are other motels away from licensed premises that I should have stayed at. The motel was close to town centre no problems there.
kayan (10/5): Very friendly staff at the reception - When we arrived the motel, the lady at the reception is so friendly. We will come back to stay in this motel next time we visit morabah.

Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing stay - Just a few things that all added up to a disappointing stay. I had to change my dates at the last minute (totally my fault), but they put me in a more expensive room and didn't tell me until I went to pay. The airconditioner was broken and needed to be reset The smoke alarm casing was hanging down and when I asked about it, it was fixed with sticky tape. I went to order some breakfast and some communication confusion meant that I ended up with 2 poached eggs (just the eggs, nothing else) for $20, Thankfully they reduced that to $10 for me. Nothing horrendous, but lots of little things that added up

Lynne (8/5): Our choice in Moranbah - Just a one night stay but we always stay at this motel when in Moranbah as it is reasonably priced and has the best Chinese meals in the attached restaurant.
