Our cabin was clean and comfy, self contained and great value. We were able to extend our stay smoothly. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Beautiful beach I didn't like the room so small won't book a cabin again, no mirror on wall to do your make in morning. Fridge was old buzzing sound all night so got up turn it off..beds old cheeky old bunk beds..expensive for what I got, could of got hotel room for same price.

Ideal overnight stop if touring and would make a great short holiday stay for a young family. Was a little warm with getting a lot of direct sunlight. The bedroom blind did rattle during the night with the window open.

I didn't like the fact that both Māori TV channels were not available to watch and this was a common theme at another place I stayed at in Taranaki

Little chilly at night with no heating option Paid more for one night here than I paid at the Devon Hotel 2 weeks earlier. Definitely wasn’t worth $177 for the night

• Lesley (8/5): Great location for exploring New Plymouth - Great location. Especially close to the start of parkrun, which is why we chose this property. Staff were able to organise a late check out after parkrun for us, which was greatly appreciated. Kitchen was well supplied with crockery and utensils. I misinterpreted the instruction to bring bedding and towels to mean bed linen and towels, so did not bring our duvet. But a quick visit to the Warehouse solved the problem.

• Lisa (7/5): Good location, friendly staff…. Cabins could do with an upgrade and resealing. - It was right on the beach, close to airport and the town. My girls loved the jumping pillow, trampoline and small play area, although couldn’t regularly use them due to the heavy rain. The oven, hot water & the ANTS! We were in a cabin where there were some dead ants on the top bunks and a bottom bunk, we were immediately upgraded and this was great. The new cabin seemed perfect, aside from the oven taking about 1.5 hours to heat up. However on our second last day we arrived home to a kitchen swarming with ants - thousands of them. It was overwhelming. We didn’t have any spray or anything as the only cleaning product provided was dishwashing liquid. After using a wet tea towel and cloth to get rid of half of them I saw where they were coming from so used my daughter’s putty to seal the holes. They found more ways in but I kept sealing with putty. It had been raining the entire time and I know ants come out after rain but the cabins really need resealing On the last night our hot water was intermittent as well which wasn’t fun while trying to wash my hair or for my special needs daughter who stood in an ice cold shower for 2 mins before telling me it was cold. I was going to make reception aware of the massive ant problem and hot water issue at check out but we had to leave for our plane and they were closed.

• Caroline (10/5): - Stayed in the 2 bedroom family cabin, was great. Clean, well set up and our whole family enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly and the park was nice and quiet even with neighbors. Kids loved the playground. Would like to come back in summer!
