- Manuel (10/5): - I loved this hostel. The building is amazing — very bohemian and historic — and you can tell the owners really make an effort to maintain it. The common areas are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is super well equipped with everything you need. Perfect location, close to everything. I came with my bike and they stored it in a safe place next to their house. Peaceful atmosphere. I stayed for two nights and I would definitely come back.

Nur ein paar Minuten von der Innenstadt und trotzdem ruhig. Einer meiner besten Aufenthalte in Neuseeland. Die Küche war etwas klein.

I was even able to book a tour for a very reasonable price and spent a wonderful day with Ola driving to Hokitika Gorge, Dorothy Falls, and Lake Kaniere. My stay was fantastic. The location is convenient for exploring Greymouth, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of the stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hot shower was perfect.

- Danzi (10/5): - One of the best hostels I've ever been to, it was very clean and tidy. The owners were friendly and helpful, giving some good advice about walks and restaurants in the area. The garden was nice too, and I loved the drawings on the wall everywhere. I would suggest to put some little shelfs for the person sleeping on the top bunk bed, and maybe some curtains for the low bunk bed, as I always find them useful, but apart from that it was perfect.

New boutique rooms with hand basin t.v. and fridge on ground floor are a perfect fit for older travelers who can’t quite manage the stairs. The curtains in boutique room need blackout. The door near the front door is noisy as is the fridge. TV didn’t work, but wifi was being fixed so could have been the issue.

Robbie UK. - It was easy to find. 5 minutes walk to the town and the train station and the food supper market There are washing machines there but you can’t do your own washing. You have to pay a fee and the lady does it for you. So I gave the lady a bundle of clothes when I got them back there were 3 socks Missing. And the Lady swore blind I didn’t give her any socks. But I got one back.

Maison et chambre fort vétustes, il faut être à l’aise avec le concept… Salle de douche et toilettes refaites mais cela reste basique et pas très confortable. Ok pour une nuit de transition, mais je ne conseillerai pas d’y rester plus longtemps.

Verschillende kamers waren pas gerenoveerd en lijken algemeen volop te investeren in verbeteringen. Authentiek pand met hoge plafonds, gezellige kamers (zitruimte/eetkamer) Zeker de moeite om te bezoeken Kamer rook een beetje vochtig (denk dat ze deze nog gaan renoveren)

You can really feel the care that has gone into creating this place. The owners are the friendliest and most welcoming hosts I’ve met on my travels. I slept better here than I have in the past three months — the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and calming. It’s honestly the most tranquil and relaxing place I’ve stayed so far. Everything was spotless, the kitchen was excellent and very well equipped, and there’s truly nothing that could have been better. The beautiful backyard with hammocks and even chickens was the perfect place to unwind. I couldn’t recommend this place more — it was simply perfect. -

- John (9/5): Nice decor, and handy to the centre of town. - The interior decor of the hostel was done out in animal themes such as cartoons on the walls and door-stops on the floor in the shape of animals, to reflect the hostel's name Noah's Ark and how Noah brought in pairs of all species of animals into the ark. The hostel is a short walk from the centre of Greymouth and the railway/bus station.

Not 10 minutes away from both intercity busstop and trainstation on foot. Comfy beds, spacious dorm, well-equiped kitchen. Showers are dated but good. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, ma sono molto rigidi con le regole, non mi sono sentita troppo a mio agio, quasi come a casa con la zia rompiscatole. Il letto è comodo e le camere curate nei dettagli, è molto carino. Ho chiesto di fare colazione dopo il check out prima di andare via, cosa che permettono in tutti gli ostelli rimanendo nelle parti comuni senza problemi e mi hanno dato un ora di tempo per andare. Non mi è piaciuto il modo e mi sono sentita controllata.
