My reservation was cancelled by the motel not long after booking. Booking.com failed to send me a cancellation email, so when I arrived, I didn't have a reservation and the whole town was booked out.

Plenty of room for the price. No highway noise at all even though we were on the highway. The little bottle of dishwahing liquid and sponge were a really nice touch. Nothing really. You can hear the shower running in the room next door but it wasnt really an issue.

Handy shared bike/walking path into CBD runs right past motel. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Enjoyable stay.

There was no milk in the fridge and I couldn't find anybody in the office to ask at the time. Shower over bath old-school and wasn't easy to manage as we are elderly. Otherwise was good.

Personally I found the bed too soft, but other people may enjoy that type of bed

Also, we felt dirtier and unsafe knowing there were prostitutes having their business in the establishment as I’ve witnessed one room having multiple different men going in and out while I was going through our stuffs from our car. So definitely not safe for little humans. Rude manager as well doesn’t really help.

- marie (9/5): Best Value Tamworth Motel - Reception was efficient and friendly, giving us a free upgrade to a bigger room. The room had jug, toaster, microwave, glasses, spoons, mugs, dishwash liquid, tea towel, great shower, vanity with plenty space for your toiletries. The little fridge with freezer worked really well. The ceiling fan meant that we didn't need the aircon on, all the time. The room kept quite cool in the 40c heat. Very quiet, no road noise or noise from neighbours rooms Would be fantastic if there was undercover parking but very very few motels offer this

- Andrew (7/5): Pleasant hassle free cosy room to overnight in - Overall was a pleasant stay. Room was kept nice, staff very helpful, pretty good location we had a car to drive around. Nice setup with dining table, couch, double bed, etc. Wasn't a kitchen sink, filled up kettle and drank from the bathroom basin. Young guys in adjacent room were quite loud but luckily went to bed about 10pm.

Even upgraded our room to a large family without us asking or extra cost- just to make us more comfortable. Also made space for us to park our camp trailer so it was safe overnight. Will happily stay again when passing through.
