Cobwebs on the walls/ceilings and the quilt cover on the queen bed had dirty marks on it. The aircon had a funny smell to it when we turned it on to warm the room up.

Muir (8/5): Overpriced, driveway in very poor condition - Location Bed comfortable Pots without any stove. No wine glasses, emailed on arrival for internet password 3:30 pm- never got a reply. Blinds stained , might have been mould.
Alanna (8/5): Good value little place - Beautiful big gumtree on the property - she was one of the biggest I’d ever seen! Good little area to gather with friends outside with a large table, chairs and a BBQ. Pool looked nice but it was too cold. Ducks hang out in it which was super cute to watch. Comfy nights sleep, and room itself was spacious (just not the bathroom, it’s in need of a reno) Each room has coffee pod machine and Vitoria coffee pods. Short walk to nearby shops, cafes and restaurants. My friends and I booked 5 separate rooms - they were all slightly different, even though we paid the same. Room 11 was the best one as it had a kitchen incl full sink, hot plate and cooking items. I couldn’t even fill a bottle of water in Room 9 as all I had was the tiny bathroom sink and bottles can’t fit under the tap. Couldn’t wash dishes either. My coffee pod machine also didn’t work so I had to use one of my friends rooms for morning coffees. Room 1 had old carpet instead of the nicer renovated wood flooring all of us had. Needs new shelves installed in the bathroom to put toiletries because the small glass one in mine wasn’t sturdy and slanted downwards so I couldn’t only put small, light items on it. Rooms don’t come with shampoo or conditioner, just an old school soap dispenser in the shower. Lastly - heater was really handy and effective but I turned it off before bed each night and it went on during the night and I woke up boiling, so weird. A ghost in the heater!

Martin (1/5): Terrible. Worst I’ve ever experienced - The tree Could not check in. No one at the reception. After a lengthy delay ended up getting room code from someone in London. Felt like a scam Staff (when they did appear the next day) were rude, intentionally left a bag of pubic hair outside my room

The shower is tiny but works well. The wifi wasn't even up to basic web use - it took minutes just to load a simple website. I gave up and used my phone data - 5G signal was fine for streaming.

Location easy to find Despite our dislikes we enjoyed our stay but can confidently say we won't be back unless the dislikes are remedied. Its a shame because it is a lovely little motel The Motel is very dated. The rooms and bathrooms could do with a serious renovation. The walls are super thin. Our first night we heard our neighbours enthusiasm with bed activities. Last night we had different occupants and the snoring was pretty hectic so we had very little sleep. Yesterday morning I jumped in the shower was in there for 5 mins and the hot water was running out. Waited for 2+hrs so my partner could have one and the water was just luke warm. This morning my partner showered first was in for 2mins and I got in and basically had a cold shower

Amanda (7/5): - Easy check in/out. Great to have some kitchen facilities to use, and a pool. Easy stop is driving through and close to local shops. Very budget style, to be expected for the price. Walls are thin, not a great night's sleep with other noisy guests. The bathroom screens were almost torn off so lots of bugs in the room.

Gaynor (3/5): There are many cleaner and better organised motels in Narooma. - The bed was very comfortable. " The Tree " was an impressive feature. Our rooms were near the back away from the traffic noise. If staying, we would recommend requesting rooms 7 to 12. There was a lot of mould in the shower. Also on the tiles near the toilet. It was almost impossible to get into the toilet space.😬 At the very best the basin and toilet spaces need to be swapped around.🤔 Some of the floor tiles were uneven, easy to trip over. Our friends found it difficult to get into bed. The door opened left onto the bed instead of onto the wall. Their chairs were very uncomfortable. There were no teatowels or washing up detergent in either room, so we were unsure of the cleanliness of utensils, bowls etc. Most importantly there was no one on reception AT ANY TIME. Frustratingly, many phone calls went to voice mail before contact was made.

Not answering the phone even though rang in opening hours, left three messages bad luck if you had a real problem. Hot tub advertised it was a cold stained concrete part of the pool When speaking to staff they were more concerned about there own problems not there guests.

Had all that I wanted without a whacking great price premium. - Easy access, quiet, well-equipped, excellent lighting, good hot-water and air-con, plus large parking spaces directly outside the door. Internally, it’s very dated, with lots of minor maintenance tasks that I would have loved to have a go at.
Amanda (1/5): Worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. - Nothing Waited for an hour for someone from reception to return our 7 calls, tell us how to get into our room because they hadn't sent us the email with instructions or entry code. Then we were told it was down the back of the property, & couldn't take our car down. There was no light, pitch black, raining & we had to use our phone lights to navigate the dangerous, ruggered steep path. Once inside we had to move the bed so we could use the one & only power socket to plug in the CPAP machine & charge our phones. There was a table, & 2 chairs but only 1 was usable, as the cushioning had fallen through.

Joannes (5/5): Disappointing. - We were travelling on the day we needed access. During travelling we did not have access to internet, email and messaging. Therefor we did not get the information to get access to the room through Booking.com. Also we never received an email with the required information. At the location we tried to phone the numb er on the door, but never got in touch with anybody. Luckily a staff member was present and was able to make a phone call to get us our room number and lock number. The door lock did not always work properly, so we did not dare to leave the room, afraid we would not get back in.

Motel staff was friendly and helpful. The photos were most accurate and matched to the room we stayed. There was onsite parking that saved my parking panic. I could park right outside my room and unloaded my luggage. The room were clean, tidy, well-present and prepared and no odd smell. The beds were comfortable. It was very quiet in the motel. Overalls, we were very happy and satisfied to our stayed at The Tree Motel. I am highly recommended to everyone to book this motel. It needs to turn the hot water tape on and run a bit then have hot water for shower.
