And we got to see Billie!! Just wished the entry door had a curtain or something to shade it during the night, but not something that bother us that much

- Kalli (5/5): Great location with serene surrounds. Just a tad tired. - The property is in a fabulous location. Very serene surroundings. Seeing Billie the wombat was an added bonus. We found the beds very clean and comfortable. Muffins in the fridge was a thoughtful touch too. Good heating and cooling available. Easy parking available on site was great. A few things to note - The property is a tad tired and dated. The bathroom was in a awkward positioned. It is accessed thru two bedrooms so is a bit difficult if you need to use bathroom at night. A box of tissues would have been greatly appreciated. Very minor but helpful. All up a great weekend.

The Owner, Joanne ,went out of her way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. On our arrival our Apartment had a gift of biscuits plus enough food for breakfast . We then stocked up at Yarra Glen. The property itself was beautiful to walk around and you are a stones throw from some of the incredible wineries the Yarra Valley has to offer. I was lucky enough to get engaged at Holly Mews and we were so welcomed and made to feel so special. We would LOVE to come back and will definitely look at booking again on our next trip to the Yarra Valley. Wonderful little getaway location! Highly recommended!

Host so helpful and great to chat to. - Surroundings, view, horses, pond, flowers, wonderful breakfast provided. great amount of beds and the beds were great. Joanne was such a character, great to chat to and so hospitable. A bit of maintenance needed; like cobwebs on the outside of windows etc, a few necessities weren't there that we had to ask for. But the host was wonderful and made full effort to fulfill our needs. Was a little tricky that two rooms had to be entered to get to the bathroom. Hard to go in the night without disturbing others. But great value to be able to have at least 4 guests for that price.

- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Bed was extremely comfortable, location was perfect for the wedding we attended. Owners were gorgeous and gave us cuttings from the garden to take home with us as memories. The animals on the property were absolutely beautiful The room we stayed in, to get to our door the path back a bit over grown and bushes protruding out so they needed cutting back. It was the same for the car park and it was a tight squeeze especially to reverse out. Would have been nice to have not just coffee pods but coffee sachets as well as people were still sleeping and the machine was noisy so didn’t want to disturb them using it.

Nicely decorated bedrooms.A sunny veranda to sit in the sun. Property available to walk around including two small lakes and lovely garden. Surrounded by farms and open spaces. Quiet and relaxing. Fruit juice, milk, eggs, fruit, tea, coffee provided. Some guests may like hot plates for cooking meals. (Microwave, coffee machine and electric frypan provided.) Renovations in the garden being undertaken which detracted from the immediate surroundings and the initial impression on arrival but this would be temporary.

Bedding was really comfy and clean and view from room was majestic. We were provided generous amounts of milk and cereal with complimentary fruits and juice.

Very nice property, no phone reception so found it difficult to plan our days and call tour companies / taxi. - Kelly (8/5): Quiet & peaceful B & B - Roundroom unit - Unit was quiet & peaceful farm setting. Lovely gardens and a lake with heaps of frogs singing. Bed mattress was very soft. Toilet seat was wonky, shower was a little too small, very comfy couch. Wander around at night & you may find a couple of the local little ringtail possums foraging for food in the trees. But also be ready to have some large eight legged visitors come inside to join you. Great location base to go exploring the Yarra Valley.

Great for a family holiday away from the city, short drive to Yarra Glen town centre and Healesville. Incredible gardens and grounds. The owners are very personable and helpful. - Kim A (10/5): Quaintly a little old fashioned - Holly Lane Mews was a little further from the town than we expected but it was still a lovely stay out on a working farm, surrounded by cows, birds and a symphony of frogs in the evening. The room (Cream Queen Room) and bathroom was quite old fashioned but comfortable. Breakfast (Continental) was left in the refrigerator for us and it was more than adequate. Joanne was exceptionally helpful and kindly did some washing for us. The bath/shower was a little interesting as it had no shower curtain so care needs to be taken when getting in and out of the bath as the floor does get wet. Walking around the gardens is beautiful with so much to see and enjoy.

The room was clean and bathroom quite new, lovely fresh towels and a great breakfast included. Thankyou Joanne for your helpfulness with our trip, we appreciated the advice to get us to Warrigal the next day.

- Lyndell (2/5): Disappointing - On arrival it was around 35 degrees and room was cool. Left 5 mins after arriving to meet friends and returned around 7 pm. Our room was very hot ,the air conditioning was switched off. I phoned and asked if we could have the cooling on. 30 minutes later it was turned on and switched off after 15 minutes by the proprietor. We thought perhaps a swim would cool us down as a pool/plunge pool was advertised the pool was not fit for use. The outdoor furniture was dirty and mouldy so sitting outside was not an option A small fridge situated next to the bed was extremely noisy making sleep difficult Some of the breakfast provisions were salami cheese and ham all on one plate covered in cling wrap with no use by dates and a litre of curdled milk. The room was tidy but not spacious a power board was used to operate fridge, kettle and toaster. On our departure a man took our keys at no point asked how we enjoyed our stay. I immediately emailed all my concerns to the lady proprietor and asked to be refunded as my stay was a total disappointment and was not as advertised. The proprietor responded offering $50 and stated that I was trying to blackmail her and she would be contacting her lawyers. I have given the proprietor every opportunity to resolve this matter.

- Barry (6/5): THIS NOT A HOTEL. IT IS A LARGE FARM HOUSE. - I would not have booked here if I knew it was a bed and breakfast. NO FACILITIES OF A hotel. Our room was next to laundry which was still operating at 11pm at night. NO breakfast supplied for second mornings stay.
