Guest Reviews
- Irene (7/5): - Reseption staff very friendly Bed
- Sally (6/5): -
- Carole (4/5): - Staff were excellent. Breakfast o.k. Quiet location. Rooms clean. No bench space in bathroom.
Parking not adjacent to unit.
Nowhere to sit to watch tv except on the end of the bed.
Clean but could use updating.
- Kathryn (8/5): - good location, comfortable and clean and friendly staff
- Margaret (7/5): Comfortable and staff were helpful and friendly. - Convenient location, clean and great water pressure. Complimentary continental breakfast was very nice also The bed was a bit too hard for my liking but I still had a good restful night
- Stephen (8/5): - Staff welcome. Complimentary beer in the fridge Showing its age a bit.
- Sharon (5/5): Not worth the money but the view of the mountains is great. - Close to my mums. It was looking old and run down. Breakfast area felt unclean and the pool was green and not usable at all.
The room was reasonable in terms of clean sheets. But because it was rundown it felt dirty. For example old carpet, old curtains and repainted bathroom to hide cracks and age.
- Pauleen (8/5): -
- Christopher (9/5): -
- Diane (8/5): -
- Natasha (4/5): - Water pressure in the shower was good Carpets were strained
NOT a queen room as booked
It was a double bed
Said that it was freshly renovated
Not the case
- Jehan (8/5): - Overall very nice, pricing was competitive. The complementary drinks are top level service. When we checked in, the young girl on the desk was totally oblivious of our booking telling me that I have no booking. Almost gave me a heart attack. I paid for the stay made a booking and received a confirmation email from the motel.
If I never showed her the booking.com app I dont know what could have happened to our stay.
Anyways I am still good to come back again to this motel.
- Matthew (9/5): - Comfy room had everything you need Single use soap not great for the environment
- saurabh (5/5): -
- Martin C (7/5): Older style, but good facilities and breakfast -
- Sheree (4/5): Not coming back. Very disappointing - Nice view from bedroom window (room 15) Dirty room. Mouldy. Dusty.
- Robyn (7/5): -
- Natalie (7/5): Cheap and generally cheerful, Corryong’s Mountain View Motel offers an affordable option for an overnight stay. - Value for money. View from the room was beautiful. It was quiet and clean. The breakfast set up left a bit to be desired. There were no staff on site at either check-in or at breakfast time.
- Olga (10/5): Great facilities and friendly easy going staff - Quiet location and fabulous breakfast included
- Muntazir (10/5): -
- dave (8/5): -
- Bob (8/5): Lovely and thank you - Breakfast was excellent and unexpected
Added to value of the stay More vegetation
Laundry could have been cleaner
- Daniil (10/5): Wonderful - Everything Nothing
- Leonie (7/5): - THE MOUNTAIN VIEW from the MOUNTAIN VIEW ROOM units.
Free drink upon arrival. There's gnats...little tiny flies each time we stay.
They come at night for the lights.
There was no fly spray this time.
- Nat (7/5): -
- Michael (9/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): -
- Toni (7/5): Great location x - Great location and a wonderful mountain view. An easy walk to a local pub for dinner. A simple breakfast was included. The pool was poorly kept. Lots of floating leaves and the metal ladder leading into the pool was unstable and could do with some maintenance. The garden areas were poorly maintained and there is a lot of potential here for making the area more attractive.
- Andrew (8/5): -
- JustCoastin (4/5): Beats sleeping in the car - Close to the town and easy parking.
Cheap, and I guess you get what you pay for, but there was nothing else available. Very old and not maintained well.
Felt like a farm worker's hut.
Items left in the fridge suggest the room wasn't cleaned properly.
The view from the room was of a large gravel carpark, not of the nearby mountains.
- Greg (4/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Kathleen (8/5): -
- Tim (9/5): -
- Alec (10/5): - Cozy little place to stay the night. I arrived late and it was freezing, but the room was warm and had a heated blanket and a complimentary beer. There’s also a lovely pub nearby, which is a 5 minute walk.
- Ranbir (10/5): -
- Kat (3/5): Did the job, however, very cold. - The electric blankets on the bed. The staff on check in were lovely The property was poorly lit, so it was difficult to see in the fog. The heating in the room wasn't adequate and rather run down.
- Geraldine (9/5): - Breakfast was good.
- Brydan (7/5): -
- Peucker (8/5): - It's an older Motel, and good value for a short stay. Some gluten free bread for breakfast toast would be good.
- Therese (8/5): Great location - Clean and close to where we needed The bed wasn’t super comfortable but then your own bed comfort usually wins
- Mathew (10/5): -
- Oddo (8/5): -
- Monica (9/5): The included breakfast and pool towels were a great bonus. - Location provided easy walk to town. The pool could be better maintained.
- Lai (7/5): -
- Kelvin (10/5): -
- Lynda (7/5): Given view, staff communication, promptness at response, breakfast available was - We appreciated the promptness of the staff when action was hoped for after someone else parked in our designated parking spot. The staff were contacted & fixed issue after hours, so it was doubly appreciated.
The view was exactly what was advertised, a rare & appreciated commodity in communication these days to have honesty & we thank the hotel & staff. It is a amazing view.
We didn't get to try the pool but may next time, we had very limited time before returning home. The pool was available, the lack of use was us entirely. Given the price, the room cleanliness, communication, promptness at response, breakfast available was basic but good & had gluten free option. It was a great room, with all of that considered.
There were additional pillows in the cupboard, that was a comfort.
No outstanding dislikes.
- Kerry (8/5): - Lovely view of the mountains. comfortable room. Good continental Breakfast. Quiet, even tho it's on the main road.
- Catherine (8/5): Budget with nice extra touches - The complimentary beer, Coke and water was a great touch and breakfast included was a great surprise. Gorgeous view, great shower. It’s a bit tired and the pool was quite dirty.
- Pete (9/5): -
- R (10/5): -
- Bruce (7/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Excellent for a nights stay and close to the pub for dinner within a 5 minute walk - Refreshments in the fridge were complimentary which was needed on a very hot day when we arrived Pool needed a clean
- Jennifer (9/5): Thanks for the stay, fantastic value for money. - Great value for money, with breakfast provided an added bonus. Great location, easy to find and what a view.
- David (8/5): - Loved the view of the mountain and cattle out the window and all the corellas in surrounding trees.
- Rita B (6/5): Good staying over here. - The view is good, location easy to reach
- Helen (6/5): Was fine for one night when there was no other alternative during a big festival at a small town - Bathroom door wouldn't close and, therefore an issue for people (kept coming off it's runner)
Shower water spread all over the floor
- Ming hwang (8/5): -
- James (6/5): A pleasant stay. - Fantastic views of the mountains, great pool, outside sitting area, great shower. Plenty of room to park out the front of your room. Both bins had not been cleaned and had rubbish from the previous tenants. Hygiene should be a top priority. This is unacceptable.
- Irena (5/5): OK for an one night stay although not for a good night rest as bedding is uncomfortable. - Clean but very basic with very uncomfortable bed. Bed mattress & pillows.
- Jane (7/5): -
- John (9/5): Would stay there again - A little old and tired but kept really well
- Tim (8/5): -
- Koshila Hansani (7/5): -
- Christopher (9/5): -
- Kenneth Wanyoike (8/5): - Room size Gravel car park
- Alison (8/5): -
- Anne (4/5): -
- Fiona (6/5): If you’re looking for somewhere for a night, this will do. Could do with some improvements. - The property was located off the main road and was very quiet.
We had a room with a view of the mountains. We arrived to a party of people smoking and drinking outside their room, that’s their business, but the smell and noise was enough to make me want to cancel and look somewhere else.
The housekeeping needs to lift their standards. The bathroom had been wiped, and the shower floor grout could have done with a bleach and a scrub.
There were hair wookies on the floor.
We approached the reception to get fresh towels as the ones in the room smelled as if the person folding them had been smoking at the time.
- James (8/5): Only stayed one night. Had very sound sleep and a nice breakfast in the breakfast area. A relaxing stay. - Comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Clean. Loved the breakfast room. Good WiFi. A short wall to the pub. Quiet. Appreciated the view. Showers were a little outdated.
- John (7/5): -
- Marian (8/5): - The mountain and farmland view was superb. The bed was very comfortable. Being at the back of the property meant it was quiet. Breakfast was self-serve and was a great way to meet other guests. There was plenty of food options for a Continental breakfast. The shower had good pressure. Complimentary water, beer and milk was appreciated. Friendly staff. There were lots of flies in the room which I swatted until I found some fly spray. However, the window sills need to be cleaned out, as they were full of dead flies from before my stay.
It might be a good idea to install an extractor fan in the bathroom so it isn't as steamy after showers. I noticed the walls were a little mouldy.
Also, it would be more welcoming if the outside entrance to the room is swept to remove the leaves and dirt.
The bathroom could do with some sprucing up, perhaps painting.
- Cameron (1/5): -
- Roland (9/5): -
- Jeff (9/5): -

- peter (8/5): the best in Corryong - peaceful

- Marbar1975 (7/5): - Mountain View, Excellent Continental Breakfast,Superb TV,Prebook,Friendly staff. Even our friends said it was a bodgy room.Curtain had been detached from fitting.Very loose toilet seat.Sliding door was immovable, low hot water pressure from bathroom tap.We felt the room had been cobbled up.We had booked a 2 night stay but left after one.
- Imogen (5/5): A Motel we would stay at again - It’s a great spot for us to stop and get to Perisher when driving from Melbourne. We would stay again but were only looking for a bed for the night which rocks that box for us! Staff are attentive and nice. Nothing was bad, it was a good standard motel.
- emma (5/5): -
- Harris (7/5): -
- Roger (9/5): Great spot to stay, very enjoyable, nice views - A complimentary drink in the fridge, big tv and complimentary breakfast! You dont get things like that in the city!! Big area for draughts to come thru under the door.
- Jenny (9/5): - Comfortable, clean room with a lovely view. Complimentary beer and water was nice, as was the included continental breakfast. Motel was close to the main street so you can walk to dinner Nothing.
- jeanne (7/5): -
- Vicki (6/5): - Run down property,needing a redo
- Stephen (8/5): Great place if you want to explore the region - Location in the snowy mtns Nothing
- Julie (10/5): - The view from our room was to die for, we had the mountain view room. It was just beautiful. Bed not very comfortable but it was ok, room very clean. Every thing in thee that we need, we didn’t have the breakfast was was available because we didn’t realise where it was but that was all good, I took a look in there wax I was told and they have every cereal and bread you could think of plus juice and fresh milk and yogurt ect. Really great place. The two photos are taken from our window in our room, lovely view. Nothing , it is a nice older type motel
- Allan (8/5): - The room was clean enough and the bed was ok. It is an older motel with facilities updated. There were complimentary drinks in the fridge, and a Continental breakfast included.
- Josie (7/5): - Communication was good, room key left out for us as we arrived late.
Overall. Was good for our quick weekend away. Only one issue, the fridge was noisey. Had to turn it off over night to sleep.
- Jan (7/5): Basic comfortable stay - Mountain View room was worth the extra few dollars. It was quiet and clean and a comfortable overnight stay. We appreciated the extra fridge supplies.
- Sharron (10/5): - Easy check in and out, quiet location and very clean. Plenty of parking.
