• Terry (8/5): Nice little place to stay when you are away to attend a short course - There was the restaurant downstairs if I wanted to get some food. It was near the lake so I got to go down for a walk/jog by the lake. The bathroom is relatively new and clean as well. There was enough space to move around in the room for 1 person. It has most things, if you are not a fan of stairs, there is a flight of stairs you need to go up to get into but I knew this before I booked it. I also wanted some random paper to write on but there was no note pad. Just little things like that nothing crazy. I think the other thing is be prepared it can get noisy because you are near the main street where the lake is. So lots of cars and trucks drive by. So sleep may be disturbed in the early morning.

• Freddy (1/5): I decided not to stay here - I decided NOT to stay at this property due to an unusual request from the staff. While I understand that providing identification and a credit card is standard practice, I was asked to provide the CVV of my credit card, as they stated they do not have an EFTPOS machine, is that real? This raised serious concerns, as I have never been asked to disclose my CVV when checking into a motel or hotel. I suggested an alternative arrangement, such as providing a cash deposit for the night; however, this was declined by the manager, there was no mention of the value of the deposit. I chose to return home rather than risk exposing my credit card details. I was also informed that NO REFUND WOULD BE PROVIDED. For clarity, providing a credit card and CVV directly to staff for manual entry, rather than using an EFTPOS machine, significantly increases the risk of financial fraud and identity theft. In face-to-face transactions, there should be no need to disclose a CVV, as payments are typically processed via chip, tap, or swipe on a secure terminal.

• TERESA (10/5): Superb dining, staff and accomodation - The renovations were beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in in a motel. It was so clean and the view from the balcony was a bonus. All of the staff were amazing, two in particular went above and beyond, Sarah and Cass. I highly recommend Pippi’s on the point. N/a

• Pamela (8/5): - Easy friendly check-in. Nice lake location. Clean room and comfortable bed. Good restaurant on-site with friendly staff. gaming etc Easy checkout. Parking spots are hard to get but the carpark clears afternoon a little. Although I was aware that it was stairs only going up to accommodation it is challenging for older people and would be lovely to have a lift there. Was noisy at night in room 15 with loud cars speeding along the main drive. The other room that I also booked was quieter no 2. Room 2 did not have a place to put toiletries in bathroom so bit hard to jungle things.

• Ruth (7/5): Location and views from facility are fantastic and rooms are beautiful and all staff very pleasant. - Beautiful spot, restaurant was great, facilities were clean Car parking - not enough. Having stayed Friday and Saturday night, found it noisy due to live music and traffic. Could do with sound proofing on windows. I would suggest they provide some marking on one of the keys that allows you to readily identify which one gains you access to the outside door before the staircase that leads to the rooms, therefore making it easy to know which one is for your room. Every person I saw entering this access door had the same problem. Needed to try both keys to work out which one worked.

• Penelope (8/5): - It's in a lovely location. Being able to get a meal downstairs in the evening was very convenient. Last time we stayed in a room with a lake view, which I would definitely recommend over a back room. However, on a week night, this was quiet and fine for us for one night. The bathroom shelf by the sink was missing, which was slightly inconvenient. I would also appreciate the provision of a tea towel for drying mugs and bowls after use. However, these were minor issues. It's comfortable and nicely appointed generally, with helpful staff.

• Dennis Compton (8/5): Travelling - Room was clean and comfortable, pillows are very very soft and flat, bathroom was very clean but only had 2x towels and 1x floor mat and no hand towel. Food for dinner was fantastic at the pub. A fair bit of trafic noise from the roads outside but we slept ok.
• Carolyn (4/5): - I like the location. The size of the television was great. The bathroom was newly renovated. The option for two beds was helpful. That was about it. I won't be staying again. I needed a two bed room and so my options were limited. This room was on the noisy street side. On arrival, reception staff gave poor instructions, roller door was down, could not find access to rear car park which had 5 parks in total. Could not escape the pub smell of stale cigarettes. The stairs were steep.

Stephanie was one who was very friendly and helpful also other staff but do not know their names. Would come again as would my friend. It was difficult having stairs and no method other than carrying things.

Room was tidy and comfortable A toaster in the room is an essential for us as my daughter plays football and we generally leave early so I always need to make toast for her.
