Guest Reviews
- Merea (9/5): - Great facilities from the beach, dip in the pool to the hot tub. Can't fault anything
- Anare (10/5): - Everything. N/A
- Taciana (9/5): -
- Veena (9/5): All good - Was nice There should be some spices and oil.
- Marilys (10/5): -
- deepak (6/5): -
- Dominic (7/5): Enjoyable stay, apartments were large and clean, beds comfortable, good location to explore from. - Breakfast was pretty good for price. Would have liked to see a lot more seasonal fruits or using local produce on the menu. Not enough seasonal produce. Missed great opportunity's to develop a menu that used local and in season produce.
- Leilani (9/5): - Great rooms with powerful aircons in each (and the lounge too). There is a balcony in each room as well as a verandah downstairs. Love that each room has a bathroom and downstairs has a toilet separately near the lounge.
Staff were very helpful and made it easy for us to check out early due to unforeseen circumstances.
Beach is really lovely and the pool is great too. Limited car park space as the driveway is narrow. We had two vehicles and were told only one could be parked by the room and the other was to be put at the entrance. We squeezed both cars behind each other with no issues to space.
- Anare (10/5): -
- Priyanka (7/5): we had a pleasurable stay. - Reception staff Kim was very helpful and kind. The pool was lovely and the rooms were pretty nice. We had a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the apartment - made things very convenient esp with a category 3 cyclone on its way while we were there! Resort even equipped rooms with dishwashing powder and dishwashing liquid prior to arrival. The Resort itself was very nice but pricey compared to other similar properties. Maui Palms was significantly better in terms of comfort and leisure compared to Ultiqa.. but on its own Ultiqa offered a great stay! Wish we had more mats in the room though.
- Talmeez (4/5): - Pool and jacuzzi is great Room are not clean also air conditioners are not working properly
- Sen (9/5): -
- Katja (7/5): - The staff were incredible and really made our stay! Big shoutout to Sisi, Melvin, Linda and the rest of the restaurant crew ❤️ The gardens are stunning, the hot tubs and pool are well maintained. The beachfront location is a bonus even if the sea isn’t azure blue as elsewhere in Fiji. Well situated especially if planning to do the Beqa shark dive. Many reviewers describe the rooms as tired, so we expected this but our apartment had perhaps progressed on from that and was in need of some renovation and a thorough clean-up. Ultimately it didn’t spoil our stay but we did request to see another apartment to see if moving rooms would offer improvement (it would have in some areas, but worsened in others, so we didn’t).
- Tash (8/5): -
- fijifem (7/5): - Pool was clean. Room was fine, nice kitchen. Plain. Not very welcoming, decor older and dull. Pool needs renovation. Staff ok. Not overly friendly.
- Douglas (7/5): -
- Amita (8/5): It was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the beach and the calm and friendly surroundings. - Location, friendly staff, cleanliness Limited menu option.
- Ioane (8/5): Enjoyed our stay and would come back here again. - The facility was self contained and had all the amenities needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. Easy car access and parking right next to the apartment, easy access to the pool and the beach was excellent.
- 353trinah (10/5): Beautiful Resort - The resort is very nice and the landscaping is gorgeous! There are colorful plants and flowers everywhere you look. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Aida and Rose are masseuses at the resort and do a wonderful job! They could use a fan in their massage hut for their comfort as well as the customers. Pool area and hot tub were very clean and there are beach chairs and tiki huts available on the beach.
- Bryce260170 (10/5): Amazing time and people - The resort and staff met all our expectations. We spent a week at the resort and we had a wonderful time, plenty of activities offered. Staff were friendly and always willing to help.
- mullerneil (10/5): Heaven on Earth - Check In great,Helpful Staff excellent view from the room, very relaxing stay, great food , great alround.
- Catherine (8/5): We enjoyed our stay here and were comfortable in the apartment. - Lovely gardens, nice view and right on beach. Modern facilities. No cleaning included and we had a few cockroaches.
- Shamshad (10/5): -
- Vira (8/5): -
- Candace (8/5): - did not expect a full service, but a mop and dust would have been welcomed. Extra $100 to have the room serviced.
- shayals2026 (10/5): Amazing Weekend - Our stay at Ultiqa Palms Resort was truly memorable, and the experience was made even more special because of the incredible management and staff.
From the moment we stepped into the reception area, we were made to feel valued, welcomed, and completely taken care of. Kimma, you are absolutely awesome. So precise with every detail, always helpful, and so graceful in the way you handled our group. “Thank you” feels like such a small word compared to how you made us feel throughout our stay.
The entire team deserves recognition for their warmth and professionalism. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the bar staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and always smiling.
Vinaka vakalevu to Kimma and the whole Ultiqa Palms team. 🥰
- kini2026 (10/5): Amazing Staff - Our holiday at Fiji Palms was truly amazing thanks to the incredible staff. They made our family and friends feel incredibly welcome and special.
- jacintam527 (10/5): Ultiqa Fiji Palms - Simply the best - Ultiqa Fiji Palms is Fiji’s best kept secret. The resort is located by a quiet and beautiful beach, perfect for swimming. Despite the busy holiday period, the staff work hard to make sure every guest feels warmly welcomed and that every need is met. The reception team, especially Kimma, has welcomed us back on the many return trips we have had to this slice of paradise. We will absolutely be back to enjoy this first class Fijian experience.
- Rachel (9/5): - We stayed at Ultiqa to be close to Beqa Adventure Divers. Annie, CC and Elvin were all fantastic staff and made our stay!!! Other customers making a lot of noise and waking us multiple times during the night. This however was nothing to do with the staff, they facilitated a room move to a room that was not on the ground floor.
- kajoll2026 (10/5): The Awesome Trip - Omg, what an amazing stay at Ultiqa Palm Resort. This trip was everything our family needed. The resort is peaceful, the rooms are super comfortable, and the whole place just makes you feel relaxed the moment you arrive.
Thank you Della Kimma & Eta for the hospitality 🥰and all other Bar Team, housekeeping ❤️
God Bless all
- vijays994 (10/5): A Beautiful Family Stay with Outstanding Service - We recently stayed at Ultiqa Palm Resort with my family, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It felt like the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together as a family. The rooms were comfortable, the surroundings were stunning, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming.
What really made our stay special was the incredible staff.
Big vinaka vakalevu to Della, Eta and especially Kimma.
Your kindness, professionalism, and warm smiles made our trip even more memorable. You went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment of our stay. Because of you, our holiday felt not just like a vacation, but like a home away from home.
Thank you all for making our trip so fantastic. We are truly grateful and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend Ultiqa Palm Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
Vijay Singh 😊
- Jordan (8/5): - New Years activities
- ranitac2025 (10/5): Excellent service - I recently stayed at Ultiqa and was blown away by the staff especially Kimma at the front counter who was so helpful and friendly. I had booked this thru RCI and the funny thing is I also had the opportunity to stay at Wyndham in Denarau but because I loved the staff from front counter to housekeeping maintenance and the Chef and waitress at the restaurant were so friendly. It made me felt like I was home and gained another family.Excellent staff and friendly service made our stay a breeze! Booking again in May 2026. Facilities were good but washrooms could use a bit of TLC. Thank you Kimma, Michael and the rest of the Ultiqa family. See you soon!!
- Sheila (8/5): - Pool and close to beach.
Friendly bar staff and dining. Rooms no mirror or table in room. Wardrobe door hard to slide open. Bathroom just bare minimum toiletries..small bath soap
- 654zarab (2/5): Complain - against receptionist unpoperat behavior to words my partner unprofessional - Complaint-
I am writing to formally complain about the shocking and unprofessional behavior of a female staff member her name is Kimma Devi during my recent stay with my fiancé and my mother. We booked 2 appartment . Staff member are using empty apartment we stayed almost 2 weeks
From the first day, Kimma behaved in an openly flirtatious and inappropriate manner toward my fiancé. She repeatedly asked us to come to the office for unnecessary reasons, clearly to create opportunities to interact with him. Each time we attended, she flirted with him inappropriately, even while I was standing next to him. Her behavior did not stop despite my clear presence and discomfort.
On one occasion, when I was not in the room, she arranged to meet my fiancé alone, and following an argument between us caused by her behavior, she went to visit him in another empty room. This conduct is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unbelievable for someone in her position.
Her actions showed a total lack of professionalism, boundaries, and respect. Regardless of any interaction, it was her responsibility as a staff member to behave appropriately, and she failed to do so from the very first day.
I am extremely upset by this experience and strongly request that serious action be taken, including her removal from duty or, take action. No guest should ever experience such behavior.
I expect this matter to be taken seriously and look forward to your response. Regards we go on holiday to be with our partner and family not to feel unsafe by staff who behaved and sees my patner .
Regards zahira
- Bianca BM. (9/5): - Very nice apartment, very friendly staff. Restaurant was pretty decent, not amazing but very nice curry and Kokoda. Loved the pools. There is no good snorkeling at this beach, nor snorkeling. But close by for shark diving experience.
- Sharma (10/5): The management and team were very welcoming and made me feel home. - Perfect rooms but staff were friendly and very accommodating… I loved my morning coffee by Dee and evenings were fun with Bartender nick name momo was the highlight of my stay.massage services were awesome 💁🏽♀️dining in was very affordable🫶🏽 I think upon check in I prefer more details on property like wifi housekeeping services as the don’t have phones in room to connect with reception second set of tall mirrors would be beneficial
- Odyssey12496425116 (10/5): Nice quiet relaxing resort - Good priced meals at the restaurant, comfortable beds, right next to the beach with ability to lie on the loungers on the beach, good swimming at the beach, nice and clean, lovely pool and 2 hot spa pools, massage lady on site, shops across the road for provisions, lovely staff, has pool table and table tennis table, although needs upgrading but still fun, books available to read for exchange.
- Michael (9/5): Pleasant for a short stay in Pacific Harbour - The property itself was great. Easy to find. The two bed room apartment we were in was spacious. We arrived later in the evening and checked in at the restaurant bar. Received our keys and asked what time the restaurant was opened too and they said 10pm. We got settled in and came out at 9 and they told us very rudely that the restaurant is closed and we can find food elsewhere. We were too tired so didn’t end up eating. We had a dive the next morning at 8 and came out around 7:15 and was told they could not have our order ready quickly as there is only one chef. I think the resort needs to work on providing better service in that area.
- warnemick (10/5): Clean, spacious and relaxing - It took me a short time to get into the "swing" of this resort, and it was best summed upped by saying it is very relaxed and has the vibe of being on Fiji time. Relax by the pool or the ocean. Have a massage.
If you are looking for non-stop activities the resort provides an orientation brief which is a good starting point for highlighting some of the activities in the area, however, do your own research before heading to Pacific harbour. There is so much you can do and while the staff at the front desk are very helpful there are smaller operators who provide great experiences also.
We will be going back, first on the list is to see the fire walkers.
- Randhir (10/5): Excellent! - Clean and quiet
- Kelera (10/5): -
- susanp571 (4/5): Probably wouldn’t go back. - Resort in need of a lot of maintenance. The Fijian workers there are amazing which made out stay. Food was great also. Pizza is so good.
I know canceling tour booking due to not enough people booking isn’t their fault. Just everything we booked got cancelled. Very hard to plan your holiday when you plan and gets cancelled. Need better tvs. We had 2 bedroom apartment and couldn’t get either to work. Even maintenance crew struggled but finally worked. Apartment size was very good.
Beautiful gardens.
- Norina (8/5): - Nice and calm resort with direct access to beach. Fully equipped kitchen. Airport pick-up worked perfectly. If you plan to stay longer and cook you will need a car to get groceries. The resorts restsurant is solid as well with breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
- Christopher (9/5): Beautiful property, would stay again. - The resort was as advertised, and perfectly wonderful. Nice, quiet ("private-ish") beach, wonderful grounds, clean facilities. Meals and drinks could be had on-site and billed to the room, which was very convenient. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Location was farther from both Nadi and Suva than expected, so a bit isolated. Also, the air conditioning in the room had not been turned on prior to our arrival. Once we arrived, we discovered that one bedroom's a/c did not work at all. However, staff worked quickly (one day) to replace the unit, and the other two units seemed to lower the temperature to tolerable levels.
- James (10/5): I loved it. - Everything I needed for my holiday. Shower does not have doors .
- Arnia (7/5): Average place, spacious rooms - Spacious rooms, good air-conditioning. Friendly bar staff No new linen change or towels in 5 nights, room not cleaned or rubbish taken out. Washing machine provided, but no powder.
- michelleadams58 (10/5): Tropical Retreat - A beautifully maintained resort with fabulous staff. Be aware it is almost a three hour drive from Nadi, and there isn't really a lot to do but lay back, enjoy the surroundings, and read a good book! A nice pool, with bar service and it is right on the beach. The restaurant serves great food, and there is easy access to the neighbouring resort for variety. It is a fantastic retreat for those that are looking to relax.
- Yves (10/5): -
- elizabethcR6028VN (10/5): Charming, relaxing resort - We really enjoyed our stay here. Our apartment was really nice and well set up for a families - it had everything we needed - including a fully set up kitchen and laundry.
The shared areas - bbq, pools and lounge areas were great. The kids loved the flowers in the garden and we spent a lot of time playing on the beach, enjoying the waves - it was good for swimming (a current, but running across to a headland - no rips out to sea).
Friendly and helpful staff - a really relaxing and well organised place, it all felt very relaxing and no hassle.
- Fearless46571003709 (8/5): Great home base in a beautiful place - I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend Ultiqa as a wonderful place to stay while visiting Fiji.
The location is perfect. I went diving and was able to walk to the dive location Just next-door. It’s a beautiful beach that you can swim at.
I loved that the rooms had a full kitchen and washer and dryer.
Really the best thing about this place is the staff as they are also kind and helpful
Really I would give this place a 4 1/2 stars but that’s not an option. I did not want to give it five stars because it is not a five star resort and you should not expect that. I did have an air-conditioner in my room as well as fans and everything was clean and comfortable But there are no extras like laundry detergent or coffee provided. The restaurant food is just okay.
There are lots of little ants in the room. They do provide bug spray but you might as well give up the fight with them. but keep your food in the fridge and you’ll be fine.
I highly recommend visiting Lucy at the massage booth for a fantastic massage or facial.
I encourage you not to be tempted to stay within the resorts as venturing out and meeting The local villagers will be a very rewarding experience.
- Nicholas (8/5): - Very friendly staff with good clean facilities The beach where it was located was very basic. It requires a day trip to other locations for activities like snorkeling. We couldn't book a day trip because we hadn't booked in advance.
- Akesa (8/5): -
- brucem619 (10/5): A really enjoyable stay at the ULTIQA Palms Beach Resort. - We arranged a Family Stay at the ULTIQA Palms Beach Resort and had a really enjoyable time. The facilities were good and we were right next to the Beach. Enjoyed our times on the Beach and swimming. There were shops close to the Resort where you could buy appropriate food and drink. There were also many other attractions not far from the Resort.
- Patricia (9/5): -
- zeediamonds (10/5): Fantastic time in Fiji at Ultiqa! - Absolutely loved Ultiqa Fiji Palms! Great resort with a great view from unit #3! We had good breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the restaurant on site. The front desk receptionist, Kim?, was awesome as well as the driver Ili. We purchased several of their tours and had a ball- The Jewel of Fiji, Suva tour, Coastal tour and Nadi tour. We enjoyed the Lovo feast and Fijian entertainment with dancing and singing. We spent great times on the beach, in the pool and in the hot tub. It’s a very pretty resort with very friendly staff. We also visited nearby restaurants. It was a wonderful vacation!
- Arvind (10/5): - Excellent facility, great staff and perfect location
- pranil (9/5): - The pool was nice The breakfast
- Agnes (10/5): - Stuff was very friendly with our bags. It was very clean.. only thing the gate door was not locking. And the front desk girl name Karishma wasn’t friendly at all. She’s very rude. I have deal with her couple times and she’s the same. She should take some customer service class…..
- Natasha (1/5): Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. - The bar and restaurant staff. The groundsman and the one cleaning lady. I arrived and no one was there aside from one lady who pointed to the rough area my room was located. I had to carry my suitcase and bags up three flights of stairs in the dark. I entered my room and I first noticed the strong smell of urine which wasn’t surprising as the toilet hadn’t been flushed. Worse, the towels, x2 per room were bleach stains and musty. The sheets had food stains, my feet were black within seconds. There were many finger prints and hand prints over the walls. The shower hadn’t been cleaned for god knows how long. The rubbish was never removed. When I asked for a fresh towel I was told to wash the ones there. The washing machine was filthy but I had to. After walking across the road to buy detergent. It sounds like a joke it was that bad, I get it, made worse I can’t see other complaints about cleanliness but maybe that’s because I bot does the reviews? It was mainly filled with time share visitors too and as it was booked out one night I’m thinking they just sold my room and whacked me in a barely used spare. The staff aside from a couple at the front desk were the only saving grace. Seriously awful room. Oh, I was over charged for it too, took me days to get a receipt and was told they work in Australian dollars even though I paid in NZD as per the advertised price in NZD.
- Ravin (10/5): - Amazing place to stay. Friendly Staff and so clean.
- Go19734234300 (10/5): Home away from home - My 3rd holiday here but 1st on my own, arriving off the bus from Nadi to Suva at 7pm and greeted by Kim saying welcome home made me feel so welcomed. All the staff go above and beyond to make your stay special, nothing is too much trouble for them! Big shout out to Annie and Vito who checked in to make sure I was ok and Raj for sorting out my wifi issues with phone and TV. Just so grateful to you all, thank you. Across the road is a Dairy and bakery which is well stocked with drinking water and essentials, didn't need to go to the supermarket about a 20min car ride away. Also across the road is a very good restaurant The Establishment, visited there on previous trips as well as this time, always a lovely meal, beer garden has a lovely ambience also. Resort next door has nice meals tho a bit pricey, and had a lovely massage while there...was bliss!
- Shevlin (10/5): Very good - Swimming pool
Beach
Apartment Liked everything
- Singh (10/5): - Cleaness of room and excellent food and great staff Everything
- Neil (9/5): Relaxing and Fun - Super friendly staff
Great room
Nice beach and swimming in the sea It's quite a drive to Pacific Harbour
- Michelle (8/5): - A beautiful resort in Pacific Harbour with lovely friendly staff. As a coeliac, having a kitchen was great and there was gluten free food available at the nearby supermarket. The apartment was neat and tidy with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with stainless steel pots and a frypan, a glass baking dish, a french press, and selection of utensils.
The beach is nice for swimming and the visibility was incredible on most days. There is a little bit of good snorkeling from the beach along the rock wall provided the swell is calm enough, but it is primarily just a swimming beach. We did a snorkeling trip with Coral Coast Divers to Yanuca Island that was incredible but cost about AUD140 per person.
The pool and bar area is pleasant and there is a table tennis table and pool table. There are also BBQs scattered around the grounds. The communal spaces are big enough that they never felt crowded.
The only thing we would have liked is if the resort had some sea kayaks for us to use. You can hire kayaks from the neighbouring resort for FJD25 per hour to go up the river.

- David (10/5): A very enjoyable and relaxing stay at a superior establishment - Breakfast was great with adequate choices available. Fresh fruit platter each morning was appreciated. We just wanted a good relax so had no areas that we thought could be improved
- Paula (8/5): - We loved the tranquil setting and the gardens at this property. We had easy access to the beach and sea, which we swam in every day. The apartment was comfortable and clean.
We did not like the fake grass around the pool, and we were not mad about the dinner options at the restaurant. But overall, we were very happy and would recommend it.
- Sashi (9/5): Small Resort - Family friendly, Clean, Comfortable with amazingstaff - Children enjoyed breakfast. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of resorts around with events that we were able to enjoy as well. Alvin and CC at the bar and restaurant were full of information and great with the children. Karishma at reception was very helpful. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so comfortable and full of activities. Everything was perfect.
- Carl (10/5): - The staff was amazing, it really made a difference!
- Culture00441558511 (10/5): Beautiful Fijian Resort - Beautiful resort with friendly and helpful staff. Pool and beach are at your doorstep. Restaurant on site. Beautifully kept gardens. Free WIFI. Apartments clean and spacious.

- Madhu (8/5): - Easy access
- Vinay (10/5): - My experience was about to be horrible because i accidentally double booked and hotels.com made it a hassle for me to get my money back but Fiji palms manger helped me through the problem and next time I would directly book through Fiji palms and will make your trip a whole lot better and showed us all the fun things to do in Fiji witch made the trip so much amazing
- Erika (8/5): - Nice place- a bit odd as it seems most of the condo units have family staying in them, many of whom seem to know each other. Feels a little like you’re outsiders staying. Wouldn’t highly recommend (also kind of in the middle of nowhere), but it was nice to have a washer dryer and 2 bedrooms/baths.
- coxsonya (8/5): Friendly Place - Nice family like atmosphere. Customer requests were met quickly. Taxi service was readily available when needed. And it's needed because the closest store to buy an toiletries or basics is over an hour away. Supplying beach accessories to rent or purchase while at resort would be helpful. Snorkeling gear, floaties, suntan lotion, bug spray, etc.
- Lisa (10/5): Holiday in tropical paradise. - We loved the spaciousness of the apartment There were two large bedrooms both with comfortable beds and each had its own bathroom. The view from the large balcony was a real bonus. Kitchen was well appointed. The TV had great reception which is a rarity in Fiji. We did not try the restaurant as we self catered but the food looked nice. We mostly swam at the beach but the pool was great for the windy days and the on site massages were super good .You do need to supply your own washing machine poweder and toilet paper etc . which is what you expect in an apartment anywhere. There was no welcome folder so we did not know what to do with the rubbish until we asked another guest. A welcome folder with simple information would be useful .
- Ocoee (6/5): Unit was okay, restaurant was nice - -The restaurant was nice, and was much better than the restaurant we tried as the Pearl
- Staff were very kind and friendly
-good location for pickups and activities in the area
-Restaurant was a good place to relax and have a drink
-Beds were clean
- Good views -Our living area smelled awful, after a couple days of suffering trying to air the place out we finally identified the trash under the sink that although was empty smelled super fishy and bad
-AC was a bit fidgety and had to continue to be slightly turned down to stay cool
-it was more run down in the unit than we anticipated
-WiFi is not included in the price of the room
- Wino1982 (5/5): Mandatory 2 overnight stays for customs - The apartment has a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There's also a swimming pool and direct beach access. The garden is wonderful and well-maintained. There's a bar with happy hour. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overpriced, no cleaning from this date onwards, Wi-Fi costs an extra 40 Fijian dollars. The air conditioner had dripped all over the desk below. Small spiders and cockroaches were unfortunately everywhere too :-( The first night I could hardly sleep because a group of drunk or drugged tourists were cheering and talking loudly all night long right next door. No telephone in the apartment.
There's no Handheldshower, only a Rainshower.
- Saten (10/5): - Very Good
- A555YFsylvial (6/5): Fiji Palms (Ultiqa) – Things to watch for - We spent 5 nights here with family from the USA. I paid AUD $328.60 per night for our 2-bedroom unit.
The best thing about this place is the staff. They are just wonderful, which made our stay enjoyable. The gardens are just gorgeous and the pool clean.
Unfortunately, the entire time we stayed here, it rained non-stop which made everything damp and grotty. Good thing is golf umbrella was provided. Just be aware the buildings are not linked by a covered pathway and given how much it rains on that side of the island, bring shoes for wet weather!
Travellers need to be aware that while the units are equipped with washing machines and dish washers, servicing of the units including changing sheets and towels are only provided if you are staying for 14 days. This is something they should make known upfront.
A container of dishwashing powder was provided which was ok as it allowed us to put on more than one load of dishes during our stay. The number of dishware, cups and glasses in our unit was generous.
No washing powder was provided for washing clothes which meant we had to buy washing power to wash our own bath towels – to get clean towels or cleaning of the unit during our stay meant an additional separate cost. I don’t understand why they provide these amenities and don’t tell travellers you need to bring your own washing powder. Going shopping on holiday for milk and washing powder defeats the point of going on a holiday. The filter on the clothes dryer flew off every time we used it.
The unit we stayed in had a leaky AC in the living room so had to turn it off as soon as water started to pool on the floor. The mop provided was not very absorbent.
The TV connection through the Walesi set top box was anything but wireless – zero reception, a mess TBH when you are stuck indoors. This was a common issue with another place we stayed at in Nadi with similar amenities. The TV in the bedroom was not even connected at all.
There is no available Wifi – you will need to pay $40 for a portable one to use. They had a smart TV, but you could not cast off your phone as you needed to hire the portable Wifi for that.
Only two small cakes of soap provided – no shampoo etc. You will need to bring your own.
The rooms have no phones to allow you to make local calls or to call reception – you will need to walk to reception to ask for things.
The sections that have three stories do not have elevators – we were placed on the third floor – great view of the ocean but hard on the arms and legs when you have to carry bags and boxes up three flights.
The bar has some great cocktails and are reasonably priced. Happy hour is from 5-7pm. The meals served could do with some improvement – the lack of local produce on the menu begs the question why? Being served frozen packaged vegetables in your stir fry as “crispy” vegetables is highly questionable. As far as menu options go, their restaurant has a better offering than that at two other hotels nearby.
I made the booking through the Ultiqa website but was told at check-in that the booking was made through a third-party site. Just be mindful of that.
Would I come back? Maybe, but only if the per night rate is lower so I'm not so disappointed the next time.

- James (10/5): - Great time it was perfect !
- Krishika (7/5): Good -
- Crystal (10/5): Must stay! - My friends and I spent a few nights here and could not stop talking about how much we loved it. It was a great location with beach front access. We had the whole beach to ourselves! The staff was phenomenal! We attending the lovo dinner one night which was fun. It’s close to a scuba diving shop if you’re into that. We also did the upper navua river rafting tour and they picked us up right at the resort. Most of all I loved the gardens on the property! They are magnificent!! Highly recommend, would stay here again :) Vinaka, Bula!
- Emma (10/5): - We had a great stay at ULTIQA Fiji Palms! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole resort had a lovely, relaxed feel. The gardens are absolutely stunning — full of beautiful flowers and really well looked after, just like the rest of the property.
The apartments are self-catering, so just a heads up that there’s no daily room service or restocking of tea, coffee, or soap. I’d recommend bringing any toiletries and food basics you need, as the shops across the road are quite basic, and the bigger supermarket is a drive away. That said, the apartment itself was really well equipped — loads of kitchen utensils, bedding, towels for both the shower and pool, everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
Wi-Fi is available in the bar and restaurant area, and we later found out you can buy Wi-Fi for your room for the week for 40FJD — definitely would have been worth it, but we didn’t realise it was an option until we were checking out!
The beach is beautiful and secluded, right on the property and close to the pool area — perfect for a relaxing break. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it if you're after a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home.
- Kavita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (10/5): Excellent beach, good aircon - Lovely long beach, excellent aircon, good specials of the day (mud crab curry, goat curry), a good dive centre in the resort next door. For in room wifi you need to rent a dingle for a small fee.
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): - Home Away from Home
- Robert (8/5): very good , excellent service and facilities vinaka - beautiful gardens, excellent TV window in bedroom facing east sunrise needs blackout curtain or better quality blind to keep sun off sleeper during early morning
- kriezl312 (10/5): Family stay - Booked for 4 people. The room we received had 2 private bedrooms, 1 private bath, and 1 shared bath. A/C's are in both bedrooms and common area with ceiling fans in all rooms. Full kitchen with appliances, cookware and dining ware. There is also a clothes washer and dryer, both on the smaller side but worked well. There are a few griddles and grills around the property. Pool was very nice, had a small shallow section for kids. There is one restaurant/bar - food is delicious and fresh. Property is on the beach, there are lounge chairs available and small shaded seating areas on the beach. No reefs for snorkeling, but water is calm and clear. I can't say enough how lovely the staff were. My dad had a medical emergency and staff were quick-acting - special shout out to Michael and Elvin for going above and beyond. I would also like to thank Kim for helping plan excursions and making this an incredible first time in Fiji.
This hotel is near Suva, about 2-2.5 hours from Nadi Airport. Would consider flying into Suva airport next time if available. But this property does have an airport transfer available for an additional fee, best to book through them directly ahead of time.
- Santoshni (10/5): - Enjoyed the beach and the food and drinks at the bar.
- Atish (8/5): I recently stayed at ULTIQA Fiji Palms Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. - The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all our needs were met throughout our stay. The rooms were modern, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beachfront access was a highlight, providing stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere. The pool area, restaurant, and bar offered a great space to unwind and enjoy the tropical setting. While the food quality was good, a bit more variety in the menu would have been appreciated for longer stays. The internet connection could be improved, especially for guests who may need to stay connected for work.
- 816pilark (10/5): You cannot beat the beach and South Pacific - The gardens, the beach and the pool are absolutely wonderful. The 3 hour drive from the airport should be considered for anyone reserving a unit in the resort. ULTIQA was VERY helpful ensuring our transportation and our driver, Atu, was terrific. Groceries and dining choices are limited. If you are able to bring staples you enjoy eating, bring them!!
- thomson131vt (10/5): Tropical Paradise - Amazing resort located on one of the few sandy beaches in Fiji. The rest are coral and tough on the feet. The grounds are a tropical paradise. The resort is small enough that the incredibly helpful and friendly staff know you by your first name. Because it is not huge and impersonal, you get to know the other guests as well. There are awesome excursions that can be arranged right from the resort, along with transportation to and from the airport in Nadi, so you don't really need a car. When an elderly man died of a heart attack while a guest at the resort, the staff went above and beyond to help his widow and make all the necessary arrangements. I give this resort 5++ stars
