- Belinda (6/5): - The photos paint a much nicer image of the property than what it is actually like in real life. It was fine for a one night stay but that’s it. The smell of the cleaning chemicals they use in the bathroom was so overwhelming when we walked into our room that we had to leave the door and window open and leave the bathroom fan on for over an hour before we could stand closing them. The cover on the bed is very thin but extra blankets in the cupboard helped with that. The bathroom towel rail was broken and the bathroom floor desperately needs a good scrub in the grout. The beds were comfortable and the motel is off the main road so it is nice and quiet. It could do with a spruce up but otherwise it was fine for one night.

It is close to a shopping centre and other facilities but also fairly quiet. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

- M (2/5): - I booked for 2 nights on way to Adelaide. The reviews were great hence the booking. There are several room types. I booked Deluxe Queen. Not sure what the delux part was. It was absolutely nothing like the pictures. The ceiling fan in bathroom was not even installed & there was exposed wiring. So I was unable to shower for 2 days. I asked for another room. Was told fully booked. I contacted Expedia to get a refund or partial for the inconvenience. They said they have tried to get in contact with them then washed their hands. So effectively I paid $300 for a hostel room. So disgusting & disappointing that businesses aren't accountable for their crap service. Both as bad as each other. I wish I was able to attach pictures for you to see. SAVE YOURSELVES THE MONEY & DONT BOOK THIS PLACE!

It was a decent motel, parking in front of the room, and a good supply of dishes etc in the kitchen. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. Very convenient to everything in town.

- Michael (6/5): Outdated motel in desperate need for new beds. - The motel is very dated. We had to switch rooms because the cigarette smell in our "no smoking" room was terrible. The next room was not much better. The second room was missing its smoke detector (go figure). The bed was very hard and old but the room was clean. The cleaning person was very nice, though.

Bedside tables with no tops, poor cleaning of glass table, all different old chairs, and don’t even start me on the filthy carpet! I had to wear thongs because my feet ended up black. There was a funky smell in the room also. The rooms are NOT what is pictured online! Not even close. I didn’t feel unsafe until we went for dinner and came back to a piece of paper folded up and wedged under the door. When we opened it, it had what I think was tobacco in it! Just weird! The location was good though. Just a small walk to the pub that served lovely food.

- Judith (2/5): - Start with the good, the lay out of the room was good, no problem. The bed, queen, was sagging so bad, knew it would be bad. The biggest problem was the smell. The carpets were mostly black from dirt, so my best guess, from the smell, and state of the carpets, that they used a carpet "freshener". I did everything in my power to get rid of the smell, door/windows open, fans, everything, nothing worked. I tried to change rooms, knowing it probably wouldn't solve the problem, either way, no one was at reception, closed. I truly did not want to try and find another hotel at 9:0clock at night but the smell was making me feel ill, head aches, swelling and nausious. I have stayed at, easily over a 1000 different types of accommodations in my life. Huge range, from tents and hostels to 5 star hotels and everything in between, mostly everything in between. Long story short, I had to leave and find another hotel at 10:0clock at night. Went back to Mid city in the morning to complain, reception still closed..... I had a big day of traveling and couldn't wait around.... screwed.

Room is good for the budget, water is hot but some extra towels for the overspray would be a nice touch, it gets very wet after a shower. Beds are very comfortable and there was extra pillows and blankets available in the closet. Good location, everything within close reach. Would stay again.

No toilet paper holder, shower head that desperately needs replacing, lights that don’t work, sink spout filter missing and just generally run down. Probably the most uncomfortable and hard bed I’ve slept in for along time. On the positive side, aircon works well and in centre of town.

The bedside lamp switch was faulty and would buzz when turned on. The price was a bit steep given the quality of the property. On a positive note, the pub on the corner down the road has delicious meals.

Whilst the room was clean it is a property that is clearly in need of an upgrade. We also found the bed mattress in the room to be a little on the hard side for our liking.

- Greg (4/5): - One thing that you expect, even in a three star motel, is some degree of cleanliness but when there is a plug of hair in the shower drain, all bets are off. Then during the day the cleaners were in the room when we returned from a walk. We waited until they had 'finished', but there was no obvious signs that anything had actually been done. Room bins not emptied, hair plug still revoltingly staring up from the shower drain. It was Easter and everything was booked out but next time we'd rather sleep in our car.
- Marife (4/5): - Description of the ad is deceiving. Very different from how it’s been pictured. It’s not two bedrooms with family room. It is one bedroom with 2 single beds in the bedroom unit. and a double bed in its lounge room. Paid too much for this place. Beds need to retire, Sink in the bathroom has leaking pipes that wets the floor and bath where the shower was getting flooded quickly due to the drainage full of hair. The small couched will sit your bottom almost on the ground. Towels are stained and not so clean . $250 per night is a total is way too much .

The couch so sunken in and difficult to get out after sitting. Carpet in poor condition and taps dripped all night. It would probably be okay for one night but we stayed 6 nights.
