• Julie (7/5): Suited our needs perfectly. - Have stayed at Cornwall Park Motor Inn on three occasions now. The location is perfectly suited to our needs. Very clean and comfortable. It is not luxury accommodation, however, for the price it is value for money. No problems at all.

No phone in room to contact reception. No bath in 2bed unit you would have hoped for. No guide book in room therefore no idea of facilities available. (Spa? Breakfast)? Condensation a problem both mornings. Waited at reception on check out to tell them about tv but got tired of waiting after two rings on bell.

• Jane (9/5): Really enjoyed the stay, nice and clean. Really well equipped. And the gentleman at reception was lovely. - It was so clean! And was really happy with the kitchen. Even had a salad bowl, which I thought was very thoughtful and useful! The floor boards in the lounge. Made it feel a bit cold and sterile. But was still great!

I was about to take shower and I asked the cleaner lady to come later she kept repeating “cleaning” like she’s programmed 😭 and she ended up not cleaning at all.

• Atiria (9/5): A great first impression that was carried through to the rooms. - It was clean, up to date, the motel people weren’t nosey and annoying, they done their job and then left us to enjoy our stay. The location was super awesome - there were restaurants near by and a great selection. We especially enjoyed the sake bar and the atmosphere was interactive and a great experience. The cornwell park is just across the road that gave a nice excuse to go for a stroll and it was especially beautiful to wake up to the tūī singing in the mornings. Only 100m and there are some Thai massage providers which could add to a lovely stay. Excellent motor inn - I will definitely stay again. There’s a row of little lights by the tv that I did not like and hung a blanket over the tv to block during the night. Minute but they could provide a better quality toilet paper instead of such a small ply - little stuff really but can make that point of difference. And car parking is free but tight.

• David (8/5): Great spot for a short stay in Auckland - We had a one bedroom suite on the upper level. It was quite spacious and had a mini kitchen where you could fix up a snack. It was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom window offered a lovely view of part of Cornwall Park. Communication to Newmarket and the city centre was relatively easy considering the Auckland traffic. Nothing to complain about
• David (8/5): Enjoyable stay in a very convenient part of Auckland - The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything required for a pleasant three night stay. It was very clean. The location suited us being close to Cornwall Park and Newmarket. Parking was never an issue for us even though it was a full house over the three days we were there. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing much to complain about. The motel is probably a little above average for Auckland and we have stayed in many over the years.

The place was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time there. What could be improved: A small information booklet with details about local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and fire evacuation instructions would be really helpful for guests who aren’t from the area. Outdoor chairs and handrails for the bath would make things even better. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
