Guest Reviews
- Lisa 1540 (6/5): - Close to where I had to be Cabin was way up in back corner, dark, boxed in between full-time permanent residences. Un sealed roads, no rail on balcony or steps to get up to cabin.
Lumpy bed, aircon batteries flat, ants coming out of electricity point in bathroom, running down wall, then they went in behind sink.

- Glenda (5/5): The noise of other travellers was not a problem and once we worked out how to pick up the key etc - Appreciated having a stove top as the camp kitchen didn't work for companions who only had a microwave. Light in the main area could have been better. Some of the power points didn't work eg to charge devices; to power the TV. No Beside lamps in the bedrooms; the toilet was difficult to flush at times (the water saving was over-ridden by the the number of flushes needed. Communicating with staff was difficult as we had initially booked for 3 nights but then changed it to two. Booking.com continued to confirm as if we were still staying for three. Thankfully we were only charged for 2 nights.
- Sophie (7/5): - Close to town, good shower pressure, neat and tidy inside
- Tracey (7/5): -
- Kelly (8/5): - Easy self check in
Proximity from where we needed to go
- Bobby (2/5): - Look so different from the pictures.
Kitchen was dirty didn’t feel to cook and eat.
C Beds were clean
- Administrator (7/5): -
- Chris (7/5): - Cabin was clean and well appointed. I particularly liked the air fryer which was a good substitute for an oven. Water pressure in the shower was very weak and the temperature options were hot and very hot.
- Tennille (5/5): - Parking for trailers was great for the room available Bed frame squeaked at the slightest movement, cockroaches in bathroom, shower head was terrible, unsure if the crockery is clean when guests are required to wash up yet only a small bathroom sink is available.
- Jason (10/5): -
- Elena (5/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): -
- Psaila (8/5): -
- Porter (10/5): The room - Nice and clean lovely size Th
- Tiah (8/5): - Close to the motorway, easy after ours check in, great for 1 night stop over. The beds were not comfortable and were creaky everytime you rolled over in your sleep.
- Chantel (7/5): -
- Deon (8/5): -
- Kerry (8/5): - This was a great place to stay especially for quiet and privacy and cleanliness but the only contact i had with staff was over the phone. A little weird.
- Kikau (6/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): - The size of the room, loved private courtyard, easy access. Enjoyed the peacefulness of a Sunday morning. No cleaning cloths, cleaning items, tea towels. Full top up of refreshments including milk.
If the courtyard had a door i would definitely bring my dogs on my next visit October or November
- Morgan (2/5): - Never stay hear again. It was dirty, grubbing just gross all round. Isn’t even worth the 1star is more like minus 2 stars
- Jayne (5/5): Meh, we might try again if we need to stay in Bundaberg. It wasn’t so terrible. - I loved the deck. We couldn’t access the wifi following the instructions.
The mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable.
The bed comforters were gross.
The bathroom needed to have a bit more effort into cleaning.
- Lutece (5/5): -
- Sonya (8/5): - They need cleaned fry pan they were disgusting
- Bronwyn & Mark (7/5): Bundaberg caravan Park - Easy to find We weren't game drink out of the coffee cups. They were filthy
- corina (10/5): -
- Krystle (2/5): Expectations not met. - The room had hair on the skirting boards, I cut myself on broken glass IN the bed, my child cut herself on broken glass in her bed in the other room. Loud location, shanty town vibes. Second time staying here and it will be the last.
- Chris (3/5): -
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simone (6/5): Pleasant - I thought I had booked the room with 2 sets of bunks but there was only one set. Bbq area was dirty so couldn't cook.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brown (7/5): Good -
- Whitney (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paul (7/5): Good - Good cabin and park. Nothing good spot.
- Daniels (9/5): Superb -
- Owen (1/5): Terrible - Not what I expected when booking, I expected a cabin Room was shit
- Sanderson (3/5): Poor - booked room needed 2 bunk beds was only 1 called and called emailed cud not get key waited over 2 hrs was not even a phone call bak
- Erica (1/5): Overpriced, uncomfortable - It was very clean Smokers everywhere so the instant you opened a window or door you were inundated. Zero thought given to comfort- mattresses were old/cheap (could feel the springs), pillows were cheap and useless, no face washer or shampoo/conditioner supplied, no bedside tables or lamps, no couch (!?) so if I wanted to watch the large tv, I had to sit on the floor or in an uncomfortable dining room chair.
I wouldn’t stay here again. No babies for money at all for a “delux” cabin
- Anna (1/5): Nothing positive to say - The room was dark and the bed was creaky. There were weird stains on the table and chairs. The parking did not feel secure (it was not through a boom gate for our room). The atmosphere of the park was odd, lots of people live there, and the smell of weed was pretty pungent out the front where our room was and there were lots of people hanging around in the carpark. The proximity of our room to the main road also made it super loud. We also didn't like the weird caged outdoor area which I assume is for security.
We turned up, looked at the room and immediately booked somewhere else. We stayed on ANZAC Day so, understandably, couldn't speak to staff about our concerns. I was happy to lose my money as did not feel safe at this park/motel and knew that I would not have a good night's sleep.
I never normally leave bad reviews for anything, but felt the need to with here as I would not like other people to have an equally as uncomfortable experience. Perhaps rooms through the boom gate are better, but I am not willing to go back and investigate!
- Rahni (5/5): Passable -
- Stewart (2/5): Drug den trailer park - The drive out of the trailer park The whole stay thought i was gonna get robbed fully took a heap of fues out of my car as it was an older car even went and brought a steering wheel lock. As we pulled up another car pulled in and I'm 100% sure was a drug deal in the car park out front
- Gordon (5/5): OK if you don't mind the deficiencies. - Clean kitchen amenities, nice bed linen and bath towels, small soaps; spacious unit and ensuite; quick service to bring bath mats when asked for them; attempt to get TV to work (not successful on day 1, but replacement new TV on day 2) promise to give some credit due to TV failure (but this did not eventuate as we checked out before the office opened on last day) No bath mats provided without asking for them; TV didn't work on day 1; step up into shower had no rail; shower door was removed with a curtain replaced; huge holes in rusted gutters caused rain to fall on our walkways to the car; no hairdryer; one sliding window to the front of the unit could not be locked so total lack of security to the unit; fly screen to that window was ripped. Surcharge to credit card was applied despite advice from booking agency stating in booking form that we would pay only the initial amount - surcharge was not refunded; Noise from main road traffic throughout day and night. Squeaky bed
- JUDY (8/5): Family Catch Up - Neat and Tidy Cabin for two nights, 2 bed rooms, 2 singles, 1 queen.
All the facilities were there. Air Conditioned. Separate Toilet to the shower cubical. Patio out front.
On main highway, so bit of traffic noise.
- Gareth (7/5): Good -
- Ruthenberg (6/5): Pleasant - Extremely slippery tiles very dangerous slipped over twice
- Kylie (7/5): Good -
- Alan (2/5): Very poor - Nothing The constantly creaking bed. The road noise. The sheer curtains allowed the outside lights to brighten the room and the lights stayed on all night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): cockroaches and dirt - There were cockroaches, cockroach poop all through the cutlery drawer and cutlery was dirty
- Jun (3/5): Did not have a good rest. - It smells strong chemicals all night.
- Sharon (6/5): - Cabin was good except no hot water , toilet and shower need upgrade , just felt unclean. Ok for over night but probably won’t stay again . Staff were friendly and helpful
- Desiree (8/5): Great room and comfortable beds. Even though the room was old Everything was clean - The room was good and had everything we needed There was no bins near room to put rubbish into. We had to go walking around into the park to find a bin
Also the water pressure in the shower wasn't good
- Tara (1/5): Terrible. Will never stay there again. - Bundaberg Park Village should not be listed as a place of accommodation. Upon arrival there were no staff members to great us and no response from the number they said to contact. Once someone finally came past to give us the pincode to get in we went to the cabin we had booked. There was mould growing on the windows. The back door fell off its hinges when we attempted to open it. There was no couch in the small living area. The entire place is overgrown and we did not feel safe staying amongst the live in tentants that were walking around our cabin all night. I was concerned about my vehicle being parked out the front during the night also. The photos shown on the website are complete false advertising. I could not even see the pool on-site. Overall a terrible stay. I would like a refund.
- Ben (8/5): Very good -
- Nate (4/5): Unsafe, no service, dirty - Location was handy The office is not staffed, number given for emergencies
Camp kitchen was filthy
Only 2 holiday cabins in the park the rest are permanent tenants
Room smelt upon entering
Utensils and dishes dirty
Bathroom floor was filthy, had to wear thongs
Shower has no pressure
Pillows and linen not suitable or comfortable
No comfortable seating only an outdoor setting for eating inside
States cameras but unsure if they work, no staff to ask
Feeling of being unsafe and watched throughout stay from permanent tentant
Definitely will not return
- Kaye (8/5): Very good - I liked the position of the room and the closed in verandah area for my dogs. There was a lack of tokens for washing machines so I had to keep going out to get coins.
- Lucilla (6/5): Cheap but dirty - The cabin was spacious and comfortable The cabin was dirty , the holiday park was out of town, the swimming pool was old and poorly maintained, there was no staff around
- Chiara (5/5): Passable - Manager and workers were friendly and approachable The place was dirty and old. Too small for 4 people even if we had the deluxe cabin
- Lynette (5/5): Passable - It was close to family The accommodation was very dated
- Sharon (3/5): Poor - The rooms were nothing like photos no sink to fill kettle, had to use bathroom for water no privacy from kids, cheap steel beds that creaked not worth the money we paid
- Georgie (5/5): Passable -
- Jewellery (3/5): Poor - Nice that there was a pool for the kids. Sheets bedding and towels clean. Fridge was filthy with slimy sludge on the floor. Microwave was filthy. Plates in cupboard dirty. Queen bed frame squeaky and not very stable. Shower taps and head needs replacing.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Melissa (8/5): - N/A
- Verified traveler (4/5): Stay 1 night here and is disappointed - The whole room got a smell , the floor is dirty with white particles, the showers tap is tapped and leaking .
The room is near the roadside and can hear trucks passing by middle of the night
- Manns (2/5): Very unhappy with not being able to speak with any staff as none available when we left Sunday 8.30 - We didn't ask for breakfast and location was fair For $165 for the cabin we arrived to a very dirty cabin, all kitchen items were not clean grease and crockery greasy, mugs and glasses were not washed and cardboards not wiped out and ring marks and a very bad smell in kitchen of baby vomit and off milk sour smell , also the tea towel smelled of off milk , the microwave oven was dirty, and fridge was dirty inside and out .
We had to clean everything and then we were unable to eat or drink anything there as we were put right off with the dirtyness and horrible smell, the bed was very uncomfortable and thin.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Kar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamarin (6/5): Pleasant - The room size was very generous. The bed was broken.
- David (1/5): Bad - Place should be closed down, holes in roof, workers on roof noisy, no utensils or cooking facilities that work, dirty pool, dirty unit falling down The whole place
- Unknown (7/5): Good -
- Marieanne (5/5): OK stay - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The room was situated outside of the park boundary facing the busy road into town and therefore very noisy.
There were bags of rubbish lying at the entrance door for the 2 days we were there
- Liza (8/5): VALUE FOR MONEY, CLEAN AND SPACIOUS CABINS. - VALUE FOR MONEY, CLEAN AND FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE. OUR CABIN WAS SPACIOUS. I WAS NOT EXPECTING MUCH FOR THE PRICE, BUT IT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION.
- Leanne (1/5): Bad -
- Norma (5/5): Ordinary - Nothing Unit was not cleaned properly
- Jennifer (7/5): Close to airport, university, shopping and brothers club - Tv with text and plenty coffee and tea.
- Benjamin (1/5): Bad -
- Trevor (9/5): Superb -
- Madison (1/5): Don’t waste your time or money - Nothing. The staff were very rude. Called the morning before check in to try extend our stay, or alternatively cancel our booking. Just got an automated message saying the office was closed and bookings need to be done online. Online portal didn’t let me extend or cancel or even really view my booking. I was told to pay at the property, but when my partner went to check in, they said he couldn’t because I hadn’t paid online. Tried to pay through the portal (I was at uni, so couldn’t just go in and sort it), but the portal said I had 0.00 outstanding. Staff were quite rude and having inappropriate conversations that you probably should keep for when there aren’t customers around. I tried calling through about 10 times before my call was actually answered and asked if I could cancel my reservation and I was informed I would have to pay the full amount because of the late notice. even though I had been calling the day before, but they make their reception unavailable on weekends. AFTER we had this discussion, I then got a message saying Ergon would be doing planned maintenance and we would have no power for most of the following day… I feel this information should have been provided at the time of booking. It’s not something that is done on no notice… (thankfully the weather prevented these works, so I didn’t lose all my groceries I bought).
I booked this place specifically because I have a toddler and I was there for uni, and this place advertised a nice play ground and fully self contained rooms.. I selected the deluxe villa so I could get groceries and cook instead of having take out for our whole visit. What I got was definitely not deluxe and not a villa and I was shocked to find out that if I cooked in the room, I would be charged a minimum $100 fee. They said they had a communal cooking area… I wouldn’t even prepare my dogs food in that area.
The room was out the front of the village.. not even part of it. So our car was in the carpark on the highway.
- tadateru (10/5): Great stay - I was very happy !!
Easy check in check out
Great
- Glenda (6/5): - The unit was clean, check in was easy
- Nicole (7/5): Good - Economical
Easy booking & check-in 3 Big dead cockroaches in room.
Spare toilet paper was chewed & shredded by rodent or cockroaches in cupboard.
- Peita (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient location Noisy road
- Bigby (5/5): Passable - Marcus was great with communication - infact everything was ok except for the cleanliness Floors were dirty and appeared to have not been cleaned - crockery was not clean
- Katrecia (10/5): staff were rude - The way Were greeted was disgusting -
- Tania (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (6/5): - Wifi advertised but in reality so bad as to be useless
- Wan (9/5): Everything all good.thanks - We left early, didn’t have breakfast.
- Lisa (6/5): Gross - Dog hair all through room. No sheets on one of bunk beds. Heater didnt work. Bed bugs
- Lorenw_64 (5/5): Bring your own supplies - Great accomodation for the price Booked 2 rooms ....1st room for 3 children and 1 adult. Got 2 towels in this room.
2nd room for 2 adults.....Got 3 towels in this room.
So still short 2 towels for this accommodation.
Office not attended on weekends......called the number and left a message.
No response whatsoever.
- Patrice (9/5): Superb - Convenient especially checking in late. Comfortable bed and great facilities
- Robyn (7/5): It was okay. The park grounds need a bit of a tidy up. - When having a shower the water doesn’t stay contained in the shower area. It goes all over the floor.
- Rhonda (9/5): Superb -
- Gordon (2/5): Very poor -
- Angela (3/5): Poor - Late check-in system was good. Booked and paid for a cabin with a double and two single beds. They only gave us a double bed. When I asked for the other bed for the second night was told they had double booked the cabin and we would have to find alternative accommodation.
No onsite office was inconvenient - with no-one to resolve issues.
- Kelly (3/5): Never again - Large bathroom Location, entrance look is appalling - we passed it and joked about it saying haha imagine if that was our hotel! It was!! Rotten abandoned cars have been out front for years - limited parking - most taken by these cars - had to squish onto a tree stump or Telstra phone box - fights at night - dragging things around maybe on the roof? Only a tiny lock on a thin door. Masses of hair and dust bombs floating around our room when we used the hairdryer - so disgusting.
- Sally-ann (8/5): Very good -
