Room was a decent size with a queen and 2 single beds and a small kitchen with cutlery, plates, microwave and toaster. BBQ and table outside. Good value. A little dated but we had a good sleep.

Lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with absolutely everything you could need! Sophie, the manager is bend over backwards helpful and thoughtful. So close to the beach,huge pool, our apartment looked out over the pool, so very pretty at night! A gym, spar, close to kids playground, walking tracks, coffee shops etc, etc. We will definitely be back!!!

Step up into bathroom was a worry for arthritic knees. Coffee machine great but poor quality coffee
Vikki (10/5): An incredibly comfortable and peaceful stay with wonderfully accommodating staff. - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always ready to help with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable and convenient for us. The beds were comfy, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a long day. I also loved the location — it was quiet and serene, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Byron, GC and Brunswick Heads but close enough so you can drive there. Overall, a truly pleasant and restful experience. Highly recommended!

Karryn (3/5): Staying here served its purpose. The 2 people who worked there seemed nice. I wouldn’t stay here again if I can avoid it - I loved that we could take my Mums dog with us for our short break. Their dog friendly area is great however a fence somewhere so they can be safe off leash would be nice. I’m ok with using a leash, it would just make is safer. I wasn’t misled but I “assumed” the room had 1 bedroom. I didn’t see any photos of a room with a double and 2 singles in it. Slightly crowded for 3 generations. I never knew motels didn’t make beds daily. This one doesn’t. There is a sign where the coffee machine is saying you have to wash your dishes before you leave or there will be a $50 fee added to “our” already $700+ for 2 nights. Again okay, there is no sink. There is a plastic bowel in a cupboard with cleaning products. How is anyone able to trust anyone previous to have actually cleaned anything. One glass had lipstick. I’m going to assume it isn’t checked.

We sometimes struggled to catch anyone as we were there for a week needing top ups of things as reception sometimes unmanned. Could have done with a sink in the room for washing up etc.

Karen (8/5): Good for an overnight stay - conveniently located, clean and friendly - Good location, easy to find off the highway. Facilities were clean, and the manager was very friendly. Grateful for the additional pillows we found in the cupboard! The room was very small for 3 people. One big fluffy towel and another almost threadbare.

Jodie (7/5): An enjoyable stay on my visit to the northern rivers area - i wanted somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep while i explored during the day .Ocean shores meet my requirements and i was happy to relax after a busy day .The shower had great pressure for an enjoyable cleaning experience. i would have liked a small sink in the room would make cleaning dishes and filling water bottles a lot easier then going to the bathroom to get water . while someone could be in the shower.
Mark (10/5): We'll be back! - Very friendly staff and welcomed with a big smile on arrival. Our room exceeded our expectations. The family rooms are big with high ceilings, so you don't feel shut in. Pet friendly which is a wonderful bonus. The beds are super comfy, and location is great. I would recommend the Ocean Shores to anyone.
