The deluxe room was wonderfully spacious and clean, the bed is nex - It’s in such a wonderful location - not too far but not too close to the “main” part of town! We stayed in the deluxe room, and we’re absolutely choosing that room again when we come back! It’s so clean, really and warm. The host was absolutely wonderful as well! Very kind and welcoming and the way he has set up check in/check out is really good too! There were spiders in the room lmao, but as to be expected when it rains, they deserve to live too!

Karen (9/5): It was perfect for our overnight stay as we explored the Coromandel area - The room was clean and had everything we needed including air conditioning and an outside space to hang our wet togs and towels. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well set up. There was no blind or curtain for the kitchen window or glass door, so the light came into the room early in the morning. It didn't matter too much to us, as we needed to be up and out anyway.

Steven (10/5): Great location, comfy bed, great shower pressure and easy access - The room was beautiful with high ceilings and super comfy king size bed. Shower was excellent with great water pressure. My daughter slept on the fold out couch and said it was also very comfortable with enough blankets in the cupboard. The little private outdoor area was also nice. Free wifi was adeqaute and the location was walking distance to the marina, restaurants and the shops. I would stay here again. probably the best bed we had on our NZ trip I couldn't get the TV to find a signal but I didn't try too hard as I wasn't there to watch TV. I'm sure if I'd asked the proprietor he would've sorted it out for me. Seemed like a nice fellow and was always around the place

andre (5/5): - Location It’s dated. First impression is important. When we arrived, there was rubbish all over the driveway from a rubbish bin that had lost its top. The reception wasn’t staffed(not really a problem) but the person that I assume ran the place yells from the property next door. “Go inside and look on the list” “what number does it say” “just go there, it’s open” If they refresh the place, new linen, hire someone to welcome guests on check in. It wouldn’t be bad
Hubbard (9/5): Beautiful stay in Whitianga, great motel, clean, quiet and comfortable - Lovely stay at Penninsula Motel. Clean and well laid out rooms. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment. Great facilities, full kitchen and great water pressure in the shower. Nice an private with a small patio to sit out at. Will recommend and come back when we visit Whitianga next time!

Neil (5/5): Was okay for a one night stay, but it’s time for an update! - Although old, the room was comfortable enough, with a separate bedroom and an extra bed in the living area, and a full kitchen. The rooms and facilities are very old and outdated.
Shameek (9/5): Whitianga Central and Comfort Stay - Excellent location, close to all the local restaurants and shops, even the Saturday morning market. Also easy drive to the main Coromandel peninsula beaches. Our 2-room accommodation had all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay, and kitchen arrangements to prepare a meal. The management was exceptional. We were given a roll away bed, as the living room did not have a bed initially, though we expected one. The accommodation's decor was a bit dated. though everything was well maintained and cleanliness was not an issue. We did find a few insects in the kitchen area and one of the bed rooms, but I thin it might be because of the age of the property.
