- Tanya (10/5): You won’t be disappointed! - My daughter and I stayed overnight as it had been years since I have been in the area where my pop and dad grew up. The motel was exceptionally clean. Heating was thorough, milk in the fridge, shower was amazing with a rain shower head. Walking distance to everything around town. Highly recommend. There was nothing we didn’t like. Sadly the owners had been trying to rectify the internet at the premises with Telstra who were prolonged in coming out and fixing their service issue. The owners were more than upfront and apologetic for this inconvenience to their guest that week. Personally knocked on our door after we had arrived, to let us know in person.
- Caroline (9/5): Cleanliness is next to Godliness - When my husband and l walked into our room, it smelt clean and fresh. If you did the white gloves test, you would fail miserably. Spotless, just how l like it. I couldn't find on cobweb outside. The staff (John) was very friendly and accommodating. If l had to find a negative, it would be the bed, very low and hard for me with my joint/ muscle issues. Overall, l would recommend this motel. The cleanliness was superb and one of the cleanest lve ever experienced. Great staff, very friendly

- Shona (8/5): A really pleasant place to stay to explore the area - An older style motel, the room was super clean and comfortable with a good desk/working area as well as the dining space. The bathroom has been upgraded recently and was lovely and clean with a long redgum shelf so there was plenty of room for toiletries etc which is lacking in most motels. Easy minutes walking distance to town. Staff were very welcoming and continued to accommodate us with access to the pool although it was pretty much winter shut down time (pool towels are provided free and there is also a spa). There were lots of little touches that made the stay really pleasant - fresh milk in a jug, biscuits with the tea facilities, great in-room info on the surrounding area, good wifi and power points easily accessible above the bedside tables. Would definitely stay again, well done Acacia Rose :-) Nothing

Highly recommended The only thing that I would suggest is to have people drive into parking spots, many reversed in and fumes from car exhaust would come into room.
- Deanna (9/5): Clean, comfortable and so handy to all that the lovely towns of Barham and Koondrook have to offer. - This is a very clean, comfortable and well located motel close to the shops, hotels, clubs and parks in Barham as well as to a delightful walking trail on both banks of the Murray River. We were there for three nights during the Christmas period and it had the added bonus for us of being close to our relatives' home where we spent Christmas Day. The owners are really friendly and very helpful. One improvement would be the addition of an iron and ironing board in the room although it wasn't really a big deal for us this time as we have family there.

The hot water in the bathroom was very slow to come through and sometimes didn’t even come through.

- Lee-Ann (10/5): Clean, relaxing, and wonderful hosts - I travel extensively for work and stay in some very expensive places, and Acacia Rose is the cleanest I have ever stayed in! To make it even better, the hosts are amazing. They could not be any more obliging and friendly. Nothing was too much. They even turned the spa on and got it ready for us to have a relax after our big walk. One of the nicest weekends away we have had. Another bonus was the amount of Powerpoints, and a wireless charging dock to boot! Note* photos don't do the motel justice, it is much nicer in person. Highly recommend! I didn't realise that for a little country town, there was so much truck traffic. It wasn't too bad in the motel, but you did hear the odd rumbling.
