Bathrooms needed updating- shower small compared to the size of the bathroom. Booked 2 rooms and they couldn’t put us together. A long walk to food and not under cover. It was cold and wet when we stayed.

- Elaine (9/5): A beautiful resort with very comfortable accommodation. - The grevillea apartments were extremely comfortable and the view is lovely. There is lots to do at the resort and lots of places near by to drive to or ride a bike to the lake. I was disappointed in the toiletries. There was no separate shampoo and conditioner. Just an all in one body wash shampoo and conditioner that left my hair terrible. Also the buffet at breakfast is not labeled for dairy or gluten. The person at the entrance was guessing if certain foods would be gluten free or not. That is not to be expected at any restaurant.

- Marie (5/5): It was okay but I won’t stay there again it was too dear for what you got. - Breakfast was nice but paying for it was terrible after paying $425 per night. Breakfast should have been included for that exorbitant price. Paying $425 I expected a king size bed not 2 singles pushed together and a hard centre you couldn’t lie on. No information in the room for cost of breakfast and what is included. Breakfast not included. Cheap motels even include a few biscuits with the coffee/tea supplies they didn’t.

- Susie (4/5): Probably great for the pro golfer but not so much for ordinary folk like us - N/A The Reception person was reluctant to provide us with a 2nd key card, advising there would be a $20 charge if not returned. We asked why we would want to keep it, and were advised that some people do. We were booked into a room as far away from the venue as possible, and even then, downstairs and around the back. When we requested a ground level room closer by, the Reception person advised we don't have to lug our bags down the stairs, there was a 'ramp' around the other side. Also, that they couldn't move us because they were fully booked. We noted late in the evening and early the next morning, this in fact did not appear to be the case, with multiple empty ground level rooms and car spaces much closer to the venue.

- Maria (9/5): I appreciated the surrounds, the position of the resort and overall friendliness of staff. - Cleanliness, spacious with kitchen facilities. Large glass windows and doors leading onto a balcony looking over bbq facilities and tennis court with a view of greenery. The surrounds were fresh smelling and the local birds greeted me. Unfortunately, I was on my own ~ no car. I was asked did I drive and I said “no, train and bus”. I am 77 yrs old and the temperature outside was in the 40’s... My unit was ‘Warratah’ which was right down at the end of the complex. I was told it was only 3 minutes walk. It took me a little longer than 3 minutes to walk dragging my suitcase. I think it would have been nice if someone could have offered a courtesy buggy being that it was so hot. As a result of the heat and having to walk with a ‘back’ that was beginning to play up ... I chose not to walk to Resort bistro and go to dinner that night. The next evening I pushed myself. I was only spending two nights. Another time I would ask for the closest unit. (No car, bad back and aging graciousfully. That's me!)

- Anita (5/5): Dirty and not worth the money - Location was good and the balcony was great to have. The furniture is dated, minimal low quality toiletries, coffee, tea etc. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment. Kitchen had only just the bare minimum items but no milk or staple ingredients that you would usually get. The beds were hard and just 2 singles pushed together which I know is normal but these particular singles had hard edges so there was a hard ridge down the centre of the bed. The bathroom was dirty with mens shavings on the tap and sink, a brown ring around the spa, filth on the floor around the toilet and on the bathroom wall and the drain plug was completely full of filth and hair. There were no towels in one of the bathrooms and multiple attempts to contact the staff both whitest there and since have gone completely ignored. For $750 a night it was most certainly not worth it at all.
