• SITHRAVELU (8/5): budget friendly . - A wonderful place to stay with clean rooms and well-maintained facilities. All amenities were walking distance. A peaceful and unforgettable experience highly recommended. Charging extra for utensils felt unnecessary, and although there was a room heater provided, it didn’t work effectively due to the size of the room.

The washroom was clean too. Overall it was an excellent find for the money and location. All the food stores are very nearby. Loved it!

• Josje (4/5): Unhygienic but sufficient, wouldn’t stay more than one night - You have to rent the kitchen utensils or bring your own. We got a really unclean set, and had to clean it before we were able to use them. Sanitary building was unclean, pieces of hair in most shower drains, dirty pieces of reusable cloth to dry the sink area. There is no ventilation in the cabins, except for a window without a mosquito net.

• Albert_Churchman (2/5): Cramped Top10 park - Avoid - This park is very expensive compared to other top10 parks. The pitches are incredibly small, some hard standing are no bigger than a car parking space. In addition the toilet facilities are inadequate - just three male toilets!
• lenas484 (2/5): Don’t stay here if you are in a tent - The positive on this camping site is that it’s very close to the city centre, with supermarkets and lots of restaurants close by. We stayed 1 night in a tent, and this was the worse experience we’ve had so far in all of our travel through NZ the past 2 weeks. All of the tent spots are placed closest to the main road, and are cramped together so tightly that you hardly have space to get in and out of your car or your tent. This means doors are constantly slamming just next to you, as people have to get things in and out of their cars. The main road is busy!!!! You are constantly woken up by big trucks driving by, and at 5:30 a truck came up to the camping site and left the engine on for 45 mins. It feels quite inconsiderate to place tents that have no sound insulation, just next to a super busy road, and then all the campers on the back side of the premises where it is quiet and close to toilets and bathroom. Premises inside are old and worn down. No cooking gear or utensils. My advise: find a different site!
• 254ilseg (8/5): Extremely close to town centre - The park is within a short walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had a motel style room which has a small kitchenette and basic utensils. However, unlike other Top 10's, there was no shampoo or conditioner provided. It's comfortable and a good base to do tours.
