Guest Reviews
- Zoe (9/5): -
- Brian (7/5): Good value no nonsense accommodation. - Location and facilities good. Warm and comfortable.
- Kristin (8/5): perfect getaway - The rooms were cozy, comfortable and the view out to the mountain was spectacular I would have liked more of an offering in the room for facilitating food and snacks I brought with me.. for example, I brought breakfats cereal and there weren't bowls or spoons in the room, I was able to borrow from the resturant. But it would be nice to have a few more items in the room as a standard.
- Nadieshani (10/5): -
- Robyn (9/5): Feels like a little sanctuary - Location
The checkin staff But minimalist in crockery in room
Bigger mugs and glasses would be helpful
- Carly (5/5): - The bed was comfortable The unexpected $30 a night in parking on top of $17 for park entry a night
The bed side tables hadn’t been cleaned
- Animesh (8/5): -
- Christie (8/5): Great for a summer stay - Big room, great view of the mountain. N/a
- Bec (9/5): Perfect location - view to the mountains! Lovely, friendly staff. Definitely stay here again -
- Helen (8/5): Comfortable in the cold with good views of the gondola and hillside - Central location Parking may be difficult if busier
- simon (7/5): - Nice room, very central No food available or bar
- Mitch (7/5): - The inn certainly has a unique look and feel.
The rooms were styled well and are close to Thredbo activities. Staff reception seems to always be empty. Parking costs are exceptionally high despite the low traffic in off season.
- Debbie (8/5): - Large room
King bed
Atmosphere with fireplace No cleaning of room entitled us to a voucher, but we were unable to use.
- Liam (9/5): - Location
- Michelle (9/5): We regularly come to Thredbo in summer for mountain biking and loved our stay at Bernti’s - The location is perfect for mountain access and eateries. The staff were very hospitable and genuinely happy. The room was spotless and clean, I would stay here again and recommend Bernti’s to anyone looking for a stay in Thredbo I have nothing negative to say about the property or its staff.
- Choi (8/5): -
- Cheng (7/5): fine - clean there was no slipper. do remember to bring one. check in after hour, and never saw any staff during our two day stay, not responding to our msg after checking in.
- Briony (5/5): Ok - Great location, cheaper than other options when booking. Overall comfortable, cheap and cheerful option Could have been more thoroughly cleaned, poor noise insulation - e.g able to hear pipes loudly when water used in other rooms in the middle of the night. Decor could do with updating. Room was quite cold although did have an electric heater.
Didn't see any staff as late check in was from 5pm onwards which was a little strange.
- Suhaib (10/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): - The fireplace was lovely. The shower was hot with great water pressure. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The parking was expensive.
- Lindy (10/5): Beautiful Central Thredbo Stay - I was assisted by Leila throughout my booking. She was professional attentive and very helpful. The accommodation was clean and well presented. Location and benefit of onsite partaking
- Leanne (9/5): -
- Simon (7/5): -
- Leonie (10/5): Our stay left us with very happy memories. Would love to stay again. - Loved our stay in a mountain view room. The room was very cosy, lovely comfortable bed and great bathroom. Reception at check-in was very helpful. Happy with everything.
- Claire (10/5): -
- Kate (8/5): Easy to find and not much of a climb. Very accommodating receptionist. We enjoyed our stay very much - Bedding too hot. A light blanket for summer PLEASE, not a winter-grade heavy doona. Sheet not enough but doona way too much
- ian (7/5): - Location was good. TV reception kept cutting out
- Noah (6/5): -
- Rosemary (8/5): Was amazing experience to stay on the mountain - The lication The beds
- Lynch (9/5): -
- Peter (9/5): - Such a central location to all attractions in Thredbo
- Anna (9/5): - Location is excellent and the staff extremely accommodating
- andrew (7/5): Good place to stay - Location Nothing

- Chris (9/5): It was a nice place - Location Small bathroom
- S J C 00 (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Excellent communication. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location. Shower over bath was a bit slippery.
- Madhu (9/5): -
- Rebecca (8/5): Great - Location was great and super comfy bed with fantastic view! We could smell paint very strongly in our room as they were painting on our floor
- Carol (9/5): - Great view Felt the car parking availability on the site very misleading....states car park available...but read into small print and it is $100 extra per night.
- Leanne (8/5): - A lovely view from our window looking onto the hills outside.
- Mark (8/5): Climbed to the top of Kosiosko which was awesome and this is a great place to stay. - Good room & great location. Friendly staff. It was very quite as its off season so not many restaurants & bars open
- Mez (9/5): -
- Larry (7/5): Nothing to do when weather is terrible. - Close to chair lift. Excellent restaurant but limited hours of dining. Limited parking
- ABBY (6/5): Good for overnight - Very handy location. Lady was wonderful when we were checking in. The room was comfortable and quite. No air con, during the summer period it is quite warm in the room, and there are no screens on the windows, so if you open them for fresh air all the bugs come in. Car parking is very small and tight
- Todd (7/5): Nice styling - Convenient I should have booked a mountain view room.
- Zygmunt (10/5): Clean friendly and convenient -
- Ron (4/5): Not value for money. Very indifferent room with no view. - Its central location was fine. The place was deserted, no one to receive guests, restaurant closed, car parking grossly expensive (after a long tiring journey).
- Matthew (10/5): - Great location and friendly helpful staff. Will be staying again 10/10
- Joshua (9/5): -
- Anne (10/5): the best. thanks so much! - welcoming staff , view, room steps
- Felipe (1/5): Non existent service - The location was nice but had nothing to do with the stay Leila was incredibly unprofessional, she was not at reception when I arrived. I had to wait 1 hr for her to arrive. When she arrived she was very rushed in checking me in. I went up to my room and noticed there was no information about the wifi password. Within 5 minutes of checking in I went back downstairs to reception to find that she had left and locked up. I tried calling 3 times over the next 30 minutes without any luck. There was nothing in the bar fridge and the restaurant was closed
- Rajeswari (6/5): -
- Karam (10/5): -
- Susannah (8/5): A convenient place to stay in Thredbo village - In the heart of Thredbo village. Traditional lodge with character. No tea/coffee or bar fridge in the room and unpredictable restaurant opening times.
- shanil (8/5): Overall it was Comfortable stay - Location Value for money on breakfast
- Heidi (4/5): - Breakfast was listed in the benefits when we booked. But only was one day .
- Bridie (7/5): - Location No air con
- David (7/5): -
- Sara (10/5): -
- Jen (10/5): - Good location. Real lodge feel. Friendly staff! I would have liked a bigger fridge and few more glasses/coffee mugs.
- Bruce (10/5): - Its location The spa wasn't opened
- Pat (9/5): Very comfortable and staff was great - All good
- Sia (10/5): -
- Mark (8/5): -
- Karin (10/5): Fantastisch - Die wohl außerordentlichste und freundlichste Gastgeberin die ich je in einem Hotel hatte. Alles hat mir gefallen
- Jody (10/5): - Super friendly and hardworking staff, beautiful decor/artworks and sporting memorabilia in the cosy bar~restaurant. An allround wonderful atmosphere and location for our New Years Eve Getaway in the lovely Thredbo Village, everything my elderly mother (who is mobility challenged) and I required was within walking distance…Just Perfect.
- Meg (10/5): -
- Kimber (7/5): Kosciuszko is amazing. Stay was great. Staff went above and beyond. Will try elsewhere next time. - Staff were great. Room warm and clean with a great view. Force to eat out for all meal. No microwave and very small fridge.
- jane (8/5): -
- Damien (7/5): -
- Damien (8/5): -
- Georgina (9/5): - The staff could not have been more helpful & accommodating. They were very friendly & pleasant. The location was perfect for all activities & shops. Not as many eateries were open, as expected, but we were there on a Monday.
- Tianyi Angela (10/5): - Room is awesome!!!! So beautiful facing the mountain and the staff is exceptional. Easy short distance to everything in thredbo and set up amazingly for the summer season.
- Ramesh (6/5): - No parking.
- Yazbeck (8/5): - The position was fantestic. Amazing views. Not enough food options.
- Peter (10/5): - The staff were kind enough to allow me to park at the hotel with no additional cost because I was in and out at awkward times. Incredibly friendly, would 100% recommend.
- Ashleigh (10/5): -
- Greg (9/5): -
- Troy (4/5): Very average - Location No services/amenities for the rates you pay - nothing!
- Marcin (9/5): -
- Christian (7/5): Comfortable stay! I would come again. - Very comfortable stay in a beautiful room.
- Roger (8/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Great location but overpriced - Modern clean, great bar and staff. Good location in the village Price on the high side
- John (9/5): -
- Leveena (8/5): Great location, staff but should have at least a lounge area available - Great quiet location. Clean and an easy walk to main shops etc A disappointment was having no common lounge area to relax in during the day: both the Grill & bar/lounge areas are locked until 4/5pm.
- Alan (6/5): -
- Maddie (8/5): - Liked the room. Bathrooms were clean. Room was presented well. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a bit dissappointing. Not good rhat we couldn't have a real coffee. Had to go into the village to get coffees.
- Warren (9/5): Good location at a price - Great location and convenient for skiing The room had an ant problem.
- Stephanie (7/5): Easy stay for weekend in the snow - Great location right near Thredbo village terminal, super close to everything you need for a ski weekend, Thredbo shuttle etc. Shower was hot, bed was comfy. Included breakfast was fine with a nice view. The room was a bit small but fine for one night, would’ve been a bit of a struggle if we needed to bring all of our snow gear in. Breakfast was a bit cold.
- Nichole (10/5): -
- Belinda (4/5): Great location, nice room, tiny bathroom, service not great (poor communication). - Room was nice and location was great. Bathroom was tiny - we had to sit side saddle.
Communication was poor (reception didn’t answer the phone, contrary to the booking.com ad there was no car parking available which caused some dramas, reception didn’t give us the boomgate code so we were stuck outside in the snow for a while. Breakfast was not great. Bacon and eggs were cold.
- Kirley (2/5): I’d rather sleep on the street in below 0 temperatures naked than stay here again. - The location is the only thing that is good about this place and that is a stretch. We paid $2000 AUD for 3 nights and i recommend you look elsewhere, ill sleep in my car next time over this joint.
Could not get a hold of reception before arrival (not by phone, email, boking.com)
Keys kept not working leaving us locked out of our room twice
When the room was made up just remade the bed with the same sheets, and didn't even replace the towels.
To book a car park was $100 AUD a day no joke.
The bar and restaurant are not open sun-tues which is not on the website.
The restaurant service was poor, slow and one particular server very rude.
The room we had was old and very outdated like a rubbish hotel from the 70s no joke.
Small gas heater room real cold.
Poor information about how to get in and out of the gate if driving.
Your board/skis are left outside in the elements.
Oh and coffee in the breakfast you pay for is instant nescafe blend 43 satchets which crushed me.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Cathy (8/5): Everything we needed. - Great spot for our stay. Comfortable, warm with everything we needed. Centrally located in town for easy access to restaurants etc.
- Kollegger (8/5): -

- Julie Anne (10/5): - Great location, cozy, well appointed. Excellent all round.
