The apartment was spacious, very clean, modern and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed throughout the week. The pool was also very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect as well. Walking distance to the Main Street and four mile beach. The pictures online do not do this place justice! Tony was a pleasure to meet and a friendly face to see around. We are definitely going to miss Balboa but we will be back next time. Thank you for having us!

• Nicholas (9/5): - The spacious and airy ground floor apartment was well equipped and comfortable and perfect for a relaxed 5 nights in Port Douglas. A particular advantage was the location which allowed easy access to restaurants and bars on Macrossan Street, and was 5 minutes walk from the safe swimming zone on the beautiful Four Mile beach. There is a small swimming pool, great for cooling-off, which we didn't use, and plenty of parking. We enjoyed our stay very much. Ground floor apartments are potentially affected by people in the pool area, but not after 9pm.

• Peter (10/5): Great Room in Great Location - We had a very spacious two-bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and even used the communal bbq. The location is fantastic - just across the road is the beach access to the top of four mile beach, or you can go the other way and do the coastal walk around the top of the peninsular. It is also just a few hundred meters from town so easy to wander in for a bite to eat or a drink at any of the many pubs & restaurants. Parking was a breeze as there is street parking right in front of a carpark as well. We'll definitely be back. Nothing.

Great pool and the apartment was large and spacious for our family. Apartment was nice and cool despite the warm weather. Loved having a washer and drier especially for kids clothes. If travelling with a small baby I recommend taking your own portacot or hiring a bassinet. Main bedroom can get a bit hot compared to the rest of the house as the aircon doesn’t really reach there as much.

• Wendy (8/5): Balboa delivered the perfect location for us to stay. - Location, location, location. Across the road from Four Mile beach and literally on the quiet end of Macrossan Street. Walking distance to cafes, hotels, restaurants, shops, the wharf, parks for the kids. Apartment was very clean, fully equipped & air conditioned. The pool lacked a bit of ambiance. Quite a few steps up to the apartment. Apartment 11 had 3 small bedrooms but made up for it with an extra large kitchen/lounge/verandah area.
