Absolutely stay here again Very minor, but there were only 2 flannels for 4 people so had to ask for more. We didn’t seem to get any milk but our other 2 parties did.
- Brierley (2/5): Disappointing - Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations. The constant traffic noise made it very difficult to relax or sleep properly, and we also found ants around the bed, which was really unpleasant. Customer service throughout the stay was poor, and the standard of servicing when the room was made after our first night was below average. Dishes had been washed but simply left to drip dry, which felt untidy and unfinished. The room itself was also lacking some basic conveniences — there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, the TV system was difficult to use, and the phone in the room didn’t work at all. Overall, the experience did not feel worth the cost, and we left quite disappointed.

- Sheree (8/5): Fantastic room layout and a bit of luxury - Main appeal was the spa bath. The room layout worked perfectly as we could book one room that had a seperate bedroom and bed in the lounge which worked perfect for two people who needed seperate sleeping spaces. Good selection of tea and coffee, comfortable beds Somewhat close to a busy road so traffic noise was an issue the first night but not so bad the second night. Check in is advertised as up to 9pm and I was running late for the 5-6pm check in that I had asked for but had a phone call at 7.15 to say I would need to arrive shortly as owners were needing to go somewhere, this caused a bit of panic for me.

Our late arrival was accepted and sorted for us. Good parking spaces. Very good location close to everything we needed. Brochures about the area were available in reception. Clean and comfortable beds. For the price we paid it’s fair Stayed one night and fresh towels were in our room when we came back from an outing but no toilet paper & I had to go find some. The cleaning lady was quite rude about it too.

- Donna (1/5): Terrible public relations - The room was well set out and accommodated our requirements. I didn't like that the office hours were not what they said. We waited for 15 minutes for the reception to open one morning and after phoning the manager he did not come and open up and talk with us. He was on site but told us to come back later. There was a group of us staying, for a 3 night stay, we booked out the whole motel, between all of us. We all paid different rates and not just $20 or $30 difference I paid over $100 difference per night from some of my friends. I emailed the Manager asking for a refund to align with my friends rates they paid, and 6 weeks later am still waiting for a reply. I think this is unacceptable and will not be staying here again.

The apartment had plenty of room with enough beds and the bathroom was huge. Lots of room to move around for our group. The bed. One side was super soft and felt like it had close as you sunk down into and one side was firm.

Tea was replenished each morning but we had to buy our own milk I thought motels used to give little bottles... nice to have many channels available on the TV. There was a lot of road noise and noise from other guests. It was 10 pm and there were people and kids yelling etc some kind of management would be good in this area just to remind guests of common courtesy. I had two kids asleep and had to keep opening the door to see what the hell was going on outside. The walls are very thin.

The room was not clean it had dust, toilet was dirty, laundry was not acceptable, towels had black stains on them and there was a very bad smell in the room which was so unpleasant. when I went to the manager and explained that the smell was very bad he came and sprayed some air freshener and said that he can't smell anything lied to my face again at this point I asked him "are you serious" such poor service I was very disappointed. Every time there was an issue he tried to divert the subject. At least he provided us with 9 month expired wheetbix and milk bottle with no use by date. bedroom TV wasn't working and he was so adamant that it was. On the website it was mentioned free WIFI but he didn't gave us any password for it. I understand that the hotel was fully booked at-least that's what he told me but it was very noisy so I asked him if there was any noise control time in place he just looked at me like I was asking something very strange. The room that I have booked/viewed online was given to someone else and the staff tried to tell me that it was what I have booked which was an absolute lie.

- Riya (7/5): Very good comfortable rooms - I liked how clean and comfortable my stay was. The beds were super comfee. I did travel with 8 family members and we booked 3 rooms and we had a family game night in 1 of the rooms and we got a noice complaint from someone staying near by the room we were in, so that was the only down side of our stay at cumberland. I feel like if we did book 3 rooms we should have received all 3 rooms next to each other and I did request that as well so we wouldn't disturb others staying there.

- Terri (10/5): Very accommodating - We had been having a horrific camping experience in a tropical cyclone, broken tent, gazebo, everything wet and we had a 5 year old with us too...so approaching the Cumberland Coirt Motel was such a relief! We had a ute and trailer, and the motel manager moved his own personal car to help accomodate us. We couldn't appreciate the stay enough. Thank you! N/A
