Well stocked little grocery store near. - Despite being on the main road through the town as the town was not very big this meant that the road was not noisy. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and eager to provide information about the town’s facilities. The only drawback was the bed was a little too soft but I appreciate that this is a personal preference.

marksO3007JZ (10/5): Don't go past this place - This was our second stay at Methven Motels and Apartments and the reason for coming back was the very warm welcome from friendly owners that know the township , clean room (#2, again), very comfortable bed, and great location, a 5 minute walk into the village and a 10 minute walk in the other direction, to the hot pools. MM&A are on the main road through Methven, but there is no traffic noise. To save a few bucks my advice would be to book through the motel's website or call direct.

It was an easy walk to both and there are scenic walks nearby that were flat and pram friendly. The check in was easy and the staff super helpful and friendly. There were many superb eateries nearby, we also had good kitchen facilities in our room. Heated tiles in the bathroom and a lovely shower.

Katharine (9/5): Comfortable and spacious accommodation in a perfect location. - This motel was perfectly located for both the thermal pools and the Methven. walkway. It was just a short drive to the town centre. The accommodation was quiet, spacious and clean. The shower and wifi are excellent. The buildings and facilities are relatively modern and well maintained with nice gardens. The bed was huge, and we appreciated the complimentary chocolate. The UHT milk.
