• Paul (3/5): Not what I was expecting. - Price and location. Out of town and expensive. Shower flooded floor of bathroom.
• William Newton (6/5): Always a good place to stay, with clean rooms, good views, outside areas to sit and great for group - Showers - water not draining properly out of shower wet floor area, at times it reached the door to the main part of the room. Noise - could be heard from the generators No lounge seat or sofa to sit on The reason why I booked Panorama is because I was attending a 60th birthday held there on the Saturday evening. I had also attended previous birthdays of Earl's and chose to stay at Panorama. Usually there is always a group of friends that choose to stay there in support of Earle's knowledge of local business. On the morning of Sunday, we decided to stay an extra night. I informed staff early Sunday morning that we would keep the room for another night. The first two days were already paid. I was speaking to Lynn?? and we agreed to meet around 4pm on Sunday afternoon. We went out for a drive and returned to the Motel before the agreed time to meet. She didn't show up so my mate and I went for dinner about 6pm. My mate Peter received a call from her about approx. 1900hrs. He checked us in on Friday night as I was arriving late after having flown into Auckland from Dunedin and then driving to Te Kuiti. When Peter had finished his conversation with her, he was very upset. He told me that she was absolutely rude towards him and stated to him that if we did a runner, she has ways of hunting us down. She also told him that she had entered our room. This was done without our consent. (An opportunity for staff to steal personal items?). There was no reason for her to act and threaten us in that manner. I had paid for the first two nights, and all our personal items were still in the room. On Monday morning, when I went to check out, I told the owner how disappointed I was with the way we were treated, but he neither apologized nor offered a discount. It felt like my concern was brushed off, leaving me feeling dismissed.

• Leanne (8/5): A clean, conveniently located motel with a kitchenette, private parking, and rural views. - This is a cost-effective, centrally located motel with a small kitchenette. The room has a lovely view over the rural landscape. Parking is very private and the room is clean. Nice to have a TV for relaxing. The shower has decent pressure, though it could be stronger. The bathroom sink is very small and is shared between the kitchenette and bathroom use, with limited space for toiletries.

• Crystal (10/5): Loved it, Staff were so nice and helpful and the restaurant dinner was so good. It is money well spe - Restaurant dinner was perfect, Chef in there knows their stuff. Room and shower were like brand new, Kitchen was small but good, you have to get water from the bathroom for the jug and you need a cup or something to fill it, which was a little yuk for me, but the bathroom was clean, i would of brought water with me if i knew. Its a personal preference for me, Microwave was super clean. in fact everything in my room was clean and i would stay again in a heart beat. Bed was okay i stayed for one night and the TV was good, i could barely hear the next door neighbours so that was nice. having to get water from the bathroom sink, again i would bring a bottle of water with me next time.

Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich und auch unterhaltsam ! Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt, aber alles sauber ! Im Vergleich zu den anderen Unterkünften in der Nähe der Caves sicherlich eine sehr gute Wahl.

• Jane (8/5): We had to change our dates but Lynaire from motel was very accomodating so I was very thankful about that. Great custome - Clean, nice view, good size bed. The drive up to the unit was a little tricky. Loose gravel & was steep. If no other cars around you could turn your vehicle around otherwise you’d need to reverse out. Not a complaint but as says could be tricky for a non confident driver.
• Wendi (4/5): Disappointed that we put trust in them to keep our possessions safe and they can’t even shut let alone lock the door aft - Nice clean white towels, hot shower. We were not impressed coming home from a family event at 10.30pm and upon going to unlock the ranch slider finding it not only unlocked but OPEN about 30cm! And all the back windows were wide open. Anyone could have gone in and helped themselves to any of our possessions or done anything in there after the cleaner obviously left everything open in the morning when it was serviced. Parking was an issue too because it’s very limited and if one car parks incorrectly it is very difficult to park.

We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and the food was absolutely excellent. The whole experience - perfect for our trip. I definitely recommend Panorama Motor Inn.

The bed was very comfortable, and it was a quiet and peaceful location. No air conditioning, but we didn't miss it at all as there was a fan, heater and electric blanket for the vagaries of the temperature.

Restauracja w motelu ma bardzo smaczne dania, brawo dla kucharza. Obiekt jest mocno oddalony od miasteczka, a pokój jest malutki.

Very noisy, on a main highway on a hill, heavy trucks going up and down the hill at all hours.Their driveway and entrance in to the place badly needs tarsealing again. it is named Panarama Motel, you cant see the view for the trees that have grown too tall.

Auch der Service, wenn notwendig, und das angeschlossene Restaurant sind erwähnenswert. Das Internet ist sehr schlecht und wohl reduziert. Teilweise hatten wir gar keinen Empfang bzw. Konnten uns nicht verbinden oder warf uns während des Surfens einfach raus. Ging gar nicht.

The room we had could use some updating. The decor really needed to be updated. The rug was not so clean as was the upholstery on the chairs. The bed was ok but no headboard. Outside, there was fences needing replacement, they were falling over.
