- NZ (8/5): - Lovely rural spot and only 5 minutes from town and supplies. The room was warm and well-appointed. Loved the shower. Great pressure and hot. Good wifi. Lovely grounds and view, and we were there on a very quiet weekend. I can see it being a great option for families and groups. The only comment I would make is that the bed was two singles pushed together which made for a slight hump in the middle, not conducive for morning snuggles, but that is a very minor observation.

If traveling with a dog there is a specified, fenced, off lead area which is just fantastic. This was my third stay and I will definitely stay again.

The bathroom could do with a deep clean to the floor and surfaces but this is a busy time if year, so that maybe the issue.

While it is a short distance from the centre of Dunedin the traffic is minimal and the roads excellent and it can be covered in about 15 minutes. If you want a quiet location, combined with superb accommodations, and don’t mind a wee bit of driving, this is the place for you!!!!!
