• William (10/5): Delighted with the friendly, helpful staff and the comfort of the rooms. - The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, adding small touches like free snacks and bread and spreads for toast in the morning. At first I was concerned that the location near a busy intersection would be too noisy, but in fact the traffic noise was no problem at all.

We had booked a studio and didn't realise there would be no sink in the little kitchen area. But the manager was super friendly and helpful, bringing clean dishes for us and taking away our dirty ones. She also returned by post a charger that I had left behind. This service went way beyond my expectations and made our stay very friendly with good memories.

Room was huge, spacious, well lain out and decorated. It was comfortable, bedding was so silky smooth, incredibly clean and had lots of nice little touches - mix trail for the room, bread for toast. Now, there were tiny little touches that nailed it for me, the remote was Velcro attached right below the TV, the wifi login was on a fancy wooden panel on the wall that looked like part of the decor, glass engraved bottles with chilled water in the fridge, and an in shower mat hung on the back of the bathroom door was great. The staff were so, so lovely - really kind, really helpful. I honestly had a 10/10 stay, will definitely book again! Nothing!

Cute personalised information letter left in the room. Provide bread & condiments for a quick breakfast. No cooking facilities or kitchenette (but that may have been what the type of room that was booked for me)

Room was clean and there was even a welcome note with local information. Short walk to Wanganui Hospital a big bonus. Bit of road noise which is unavoidable considering locations but bearable.

We enjoyed some very pleasant walks along the riverbank, which can be accessed via the side street beside the motel. There is quite a bit of traffic noise from Heads Rd during the day but it was fine in the evenings.

Had suggestions on what to do, where to eat etc. Room smelt and felt very clean. It is located on a busier road, but didn’t seem to bother too much.

The room was serviced every day, and we were there for 3 nights. Which was a nice surprise. Lovely spotlessly clean unit and the daily room incidentals were a really lovely touch. Was a great size untit for 3 with the 3rd bed being in the living area. Would definitely recommend a stay here. 😊 Lots of personal touches really enhanced our stay. .

This exceeded my expectations. My husband was daft enough to leave his kindle in the bed and they posted it free of charge. I'd definitely recommend this place!

They even give me bread and warm milk for breakfast. Lighting in the room was not great for people who travel for work.
