- Pauline (9/5): Great spot, great food and great staff - Very friendly and obliging staff. For the age of the property everything is well maintained and perfect location for our needs Traffic noise is a bit of an issue but ear plugs were provided. Power points near sink was a concern.

- Sandra (8/5): Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet, um die Höhlen zu besuchen. - Großes Zimmer, große Fenster, Balkon Leider direkt am Highway und daher laut, auch nachts. Man bekommt aber Ohrstöpsel gestellt. Die Ein-und Ausfahrt ist mit großen Schlaglöchern gesäumt und ist schwierig, da sie direkt auf bzw. von dem Highway erfolgt.

- Jasmine (8/5): - We had a lovely welcome from the staff on site, and were very accommodating throughout the length of the stay. The room was very close to the Waitomo caves which was very handy. The room was simple and well set up. A bit outdated but this didn't really bother us that much.

- Stephen (8/5): Great location, quaint old world room style - Great older “period style” accommodation, very quaint. Very close to Waitomo Caves area (10 mins drive). Parking right outside door. Onsite restaurant (but we didn’t use) No a/c during the summer heatwave (room facilities more set up for winter heating). Private roads / paths all gravel & dirt, with some wearing away leaving giant potholes.
- Fiona (4/5): Stay in Otorahanga instead - The staff were friendly Walking into the reception/bar/restaurant was like walking into a 1980s time warp. The restaurant wasn't even open on a Saturday night, but I'm not sure I would have eaten there even if it was.
- KIM (8/5): Passing through - I thought it would be very hot with out aircon but it settled down with a nice breeze, but had to leave door and windows open all night. Little fan wasn't enough. I thought it would be noisy as near hiway but really didn't hear it even with door on veranda open all night. Their were no bugs come in. Next time I would suggest aircon room if you don't feel comfortable with door and window open.

Road noise was very minimal due to double glazing which was very effective. Only thing to mention is that the pillows were quite thin and not very comfortable.

- Cedar (9/5): Overall a good motor inn to stay at. - Clean, comfortable and easy access to the nearby Waitomo Caves to conduct tourist activities. Can be noisy being right next to the main road when trying to sleep, but thankfully this is mitigated by the motor inn providing free ear plugs.

- Gina (5/5): For the amount of money i payed i would've expected better and comfort - I liked the location it was close to my event. The shower was good. The kitchenette was good. It was nice to relax out on the deck. The beds were hard, the first bedroom had a stench that was unbearable and i know its understandable as the property was very old. The traffic was very noisy hence the ear plugs by the bed.

- Jean-Marc (9/5): Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable. - Very basic facility for one night. Dinner meal was excellent, large portion, very friendly staff. Purchased breakfast was reasonable and delivered to our room. Different choices of spread and cereal available at our request. Very close to the highway so you can hear cars and trucks easily. If you are a light sleeper might not be a good choice for you. The facility does provide hear plug for that reason.

- Christopher (9/5): Very happy - The staff were amazing and accommodating, the location was convenient for us to get to the caves without issues. There is an on-site restaurant where the meals and service were fantastic. All round we were happy with this accommodation. They even provided ear plugs so we couldn't hear the traffic going passed.
