- Sepa Tagicakibau (10/5): - “The cottage was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and felt like home. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were excellent.”
- John (5/5): -
- Sean (6/5): - Our stay was ok but was not necessarily what we were looking for. The property is a little tired and is transitioning to an alternate use Rooms were a bit damp
- Lee (10/5): Beautiful location, quaint and very quiet. Perfect! - The location was quaint and beautifully restored. We just stayed the one night to attend a wedding. The shower stream was not great, not enough pressure.
- Clinton (10/5): Loved our stayed wished we knew sooner but now we know☺️ - Me and my partner loved everything about this property! The cottage was so perfect, had everything we needed for our unexpected stay. We loved how it has a fish station which was great!! As we just finished fishing so saved us so much time finding somewhere to clean our fish definitely recommend and will definitely be looking forward to coming back again in a few weeks!!!☺️ Nothing everything was amazing!
- Janette (10/5): -
- wayne (10/5): - Location friendly staff nice quite Location Nothing
- Hudson (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful - Top up coffee daily Nothing it was beautiful

- Priyanka (10/5): - We had the most wonderful stay at Coromandel Cottages. While the location and facilities are great, it’s the atmosphere that really sets it apart. The space is filled with a genuine warmth that reminded me so much of my grandma’s home, unpretentious, comfortable, and peaceful. It’s the perfect spot to unplug and relax. Highly recommend for anyone needing a bit of soul-soothing! May be for the price, a breakfast inclusion could be a great addition.
- Vivienne (9/5): - Staff were exceptionally helpful Tea/coffee supplies could have been more
- Ryan (3/5): Find somewhere else, this isn't it. - The exterior of the cottages was lovely. That's where it ended though. Don't stay here, unless you enjoy living in a retirement home. The property is actively being converted to a Retirement village and the lack of photos on the listing makes it very misleading. Dated and uncomfortable is an understatement, with the smell of mould and mothballs in the air. I've attached pictures to help people understand what they're in for. Sadly they took my money (Over $300 for a night!!) and I didn't stay the night.

- Jenny (8/5): -
- Karen (9/5): - Awesome, would stay again! Highly recommend
- Andre (10/5): Relaxing stay in cosy cottage. - Cosy cottage with all the facilities you could want. Friendly and helpful hosts. Nothing
- Marilyn (9/5): - Very quiet and peaceful
- June (10/5): Fabulous option - Everything. Setting size comfort warmth The air conditioning unit on the outside wall indicating there was aircon. But there wasn't. That said, we just left the windows open (with the drapes over during the night) and we managed just fine
- Agata (8/5): Hot and dated but lovely hosts. - Location near Coromandel centre, fantastic hosts. The cottages are a bit dated and would do with some upgrade. No air con, so it got really hot in the summer night.
- Lyn (8/5): - The quaintness of them. The scenery. How quiet it was there. They were beautiful 😍 Bed was a little uncomfortable. In
- willis (7/5): Quaint & lovely little property - Hosts were very welcoming

- Kacie (8/5): -
- John (8/5): Convenient and quet - Chance to see the historic homestead, much admired Unit was definitely a little dated, however, the disabled bathroom was excellent

- Jamie (8/5): Great cottages in a great location with great owners. Do not drive by, stay the night! - A quiet wee spot within walking distance of town. The owners were a great couple who took time out to engage with us and our children. They gave us recommendations for spots to visit and where to eat. Children loved running about and exploring the area within the estate. A very enjoyable stay and if we come back to NZ I will definitely stay again. Take a bow, too stuff. Nothing not to like.
- Wendybeazley (9/5): Staff were very helpful, had everything we needed and beds were comfy and place was tidy and clean - Spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable I know they are doing up the cottages but our one hadn’t been updated so thought price should have reflected that and been bit cheaper
- Katherine (10/5): A great place to spend a birthday. - A fantastic stay. The cottages were tidy and homey and an easy distance from several interesting things to see such as the Driving Creek Railway. It was very comfortable, spacious and well laid out.
- Dawn (10/5): Lovely stay - Lovely quiet location, arrived and we were warmly welcomed by Brendan who helped us in with our bags.
Later on had a guided tour of the cosmos, again by Brendan and a brief history of the place. Nothing much, it was a bit cold, but NZ in the early spring is to be expected. Don't remember if I could see the sea, but no worries!

- Fant (10/5): My stay at Coromandel Cottages was peaceful, exciting and too brief!! - My charming cottage was roomy and comfortable. The surrounding spaces were beautiful and the porch was perfect for lounging and conversation. I especially enjoyed the star gazing experience with Brendan, who telescoped the deep night sky into fantastic focus. The tour exposed our moon, the glowing planets, the shining stars with their colorful nebulas and our Milky Way! A magical journey I will remember forever!
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Joan (9/5): Superb -
- Marc (8/5): I believe it's the best accomodation in town, but is fairly dated - space in the cottage: 2 bedrooms (one queen, one twins), separate toilet, bathroom (good water pressure and warmth), basic kitchen, car port, wifi, very friendly and welcoming staff, close to town, quiet, lovely garden. Despite the few drawbacks we enjoyed our stay queen bed's mattress was uncomfortable and quite narrow for 2 tall people so we used the second bedroom, shower cubicle had fixed shower head that was placed very low, no mosquito screens on the windows (and no airco)
- Chung (8/5): Very good - It had two bedrooms which is what we needed A bit out dated
- Dominicus (8/5): Very good - Our experience was very good
- Scott (10/5): Wish we had longer to stay and see the stars! - Very quiet ,great hosts, good facilities. Nothings all was great
