- jonathan (10/5): Will return! - Super friendly staff, location, very clean with inviting personal touches in the room. So close to coromandel forest park for great hiking. We had a flat tire in the morning and the folks were so helpful . Nothing
- John (10/5): A T S Action Transaction and satisfaction. - Walking distances to town, freindly owner. Meet all our needs. N/A
- Morunga (1/5): - Nothing The receptionist
- Charlie (5/5): -
- Phil (8/5): Tuscany Experience - Friendly staff and clean. Nice atmosphere. Loved the spa bath. Lack of separate shower. At my age standing in a bath a bit off putting.
- Frances Olsen (9/5): -
- Martin (7/5): Great stop for one night. - Clean with good facilities Close to main road so some road noise, pool was all one depth and not heated, not ideal for little ones and not really screened from some rooms.
- jacques (8/5): -
- marry (9/5): Best sleep since I’ve been on holiday &was on the main road -
- Conrad (9/5): Friendly staff and handy to town - 3 Ply toilet paper and soap had a lovely smell. Staff were fantastic Road noise but can't be helped as unit has single glazed windows.
- Andrew Grant (10/5): - Property was very clean and comfortable. Had a lovely stay. Thanks
- Aspinall (10/5): Loved the pool, so clean, friendly owners, just great! - Great rooms excellent service friendly staff! Nothing
- Rosemary (10/5): Thankyou for making our travel comfortable - There was even a little gift card to take away that had a nz lapel pin on it... and playing cards and dice in the bowl on the table... the hosts have been very thoughtful.
Very clean and comfortable 👌
- jhgfhsdg (10/5): Excellent choice - Great motel. Immaculately clean. I bedroom has everything you need including a kitchenette (2 hobs, no stove), decent sized fridge etc, a great spa bath. Staff and wonderful, friendly and helpful. Pool is nice. Windows have hush glazing so you can't hear the road when closed. This is our favourite place to bring our special needs son for a holiday!
- Rick (10/5): - It felt very homily everything you would need was in the unit / staff helpful for any assistance you may need It's not what I didn't like but just a suggestion I would put a covered area extended off pool .we had 4 units and to get together we cramped into 1 unit I could help with the design. Cheers 🍻 Tuscany in Thames
- Mereana (10/5): - Used the pool 3 times

- Alfs (7/5): It was a good stop over, there is a shopping mall. Too noisy during the nighttime as my wife is quite sensitive to noise - Spacious. It is at the main road, so you hear all the car noises. The see in Thames is not for swiming, you should swim in the ocean not near Thames.
- Debra (10/5): Would be a great sturdy base to explore the region from. - Had to book this last minute due to the Natural disaster unfolding at the time. Managed to score one of the last properties/rooms left in Thames. So glad we scored this. One bedroom unit exceeded our expectations. Lots of room to spread out. Well thought out kitchenette. Massive bathroom and great sized lounge space all for a similar price to some basic B&Bs/cabins that we had stayed in. So grateful to have sturdy accommodation to wait out all the wind and rain. Not a problem to us as had our own car, but accomodation was a little way out of town and on a busy road, may be overlooked due to location, but found this to be a real gem.
- Gaylene (10/5): - Everything. As we were in Thames for a tangi. Our stay at Tuscany made it a lot easier on us. Thank you.

- Nathaniel (10/5): -
- Gustafsson (8/5): - Fina välstädade rum med stora bra sängar. Låg nära trafikerad väg som var lite störande.
- Bedford (8/5): thoughts on Tuscany - Beds were comfortable, staff helpful. Our shower needed to be a little more powerful. And it was hard for our elderly mum to negotiate the height of the spa bath to shower in.
- samcat392 (8/5): Good value stay - One night stay, easy to find. Lovely welcome. Surprisingly not too noisy considering right by main road. Easy walk to town centre for restaurants etc.
Room was simple but perfectly fine. Clean & well equipped. Plenty of parking.
Reasonable value.
- Willy (9/5): -
- Zania (9/5): Lovely rooms with great facilities - Really nice accomodation with lovely staff. Great value for money, close to town, comfy beds, overall great stay!!
- Marie (1/5): Awful - Nothing went well thanks to Booking.com. We asked for a pet friendly motel and were presented with Tuscany on Thames.
After a huge day driving, we were horrified to learn that the motel wasn't pet .friendly. We will never use booking.com again. We didn't like the attitude of the lady at reception of Tuscany and we didn't receive any emails from the motel to tell us that the motel wasn't pet friendly. We didn't like the fact that we had to travel for a further hour to claim a bed for the night.
- vikki (9/5): -
- Julian (10/5): - Very clean attentive staff
- Janet (9/5): Appreciated owner driving me to InterCity bus stop in township -
- David (10/5): An ideal and comfortable place to stay for a tour of the Coromandel. - Great location, understanding staff, really comfortable bed.
- Julie (8/5): - Lovely people. Great room Seats for smoking guests were outside our room. It was uncomfortable having people just outside our window while we were inside relaxing.
- Leroy (10/5): Awesome town nice accommodation - Rooms locality close to where other teams were staying May too close to main road.
- Girls Bookings (8/5): Awesome - There were many ants but other than that was perfect
- Roze (10/5): Many thanks - Lovely stay

- PhillipB294 (8/5): Nice motel - Easy booking online. Easy to find on the main road into Thames. Fast friendly check-in. Has everything you could want for a couple of days. I enjoyed having a comfy armchair.
As a light sleeper, the road noise, even with the windows closed, was a problem. Possibly, a unit further into the complex away from the entrance may be quieter.
But overall, it's a nice motel.
- Dayna (8/5): -
- Esmay (7/5): -
- Erin (7/5): -
- Jane (5/5): The manager is awful and posts cards everywhere with lots of rules - It was clean and tidy The manager was rude and treated us like school children. Not a nice lady AT ALL! We would not go back
- Marlene (9/5): Superb - It was great , had a good sleep on a soft bed Nothing
- Annenberg (10/5): Best in Thames - This is the best place to stay in Thames. It was easy to fine, on the main road in. Booking, Checkin and payment so easy. Very close to the centre of town.
Room 1, was amazing, so clean, warm and quiet. Great facilities, kitchen and bathroom. I mean, it's got a huge spa bath.
Highly recommend.

- Te (8/5): Very good -
- Brenda (8/5): Very good -

- Sharon (10/5): Very comfortable accommodation with a wonderful host. A surprise in the room was most welcome! - Wonderful owner; wonderful facilities and advice. Comfortable and well equipped. Loved it! Will be back. Highly recommended. Having to leave.
- Kendall (9/5): Superb -
- Pratika (7/5): Good - Dangerous to climb into the spa to have shower .
It’s a high risk area for the older people.
- Bridget (6/5): Happy about room and beds but not the Wifi and shower/spa bath - Good sized apartment with 2 bedrooms, beds comfortable, handy location close to town, quiet with the 'hush' glass Wifi was atrocious, the motel info mentioned the fibre was the fastest around which is great, but not if the Wifi repeater is not working properly or set up incorrectly. My husband informed management of getting a Wifi extender, which is cheap and easy. We were told that this problem only happens "a couple of times a year" after the weather was mentioned as a cause. However, the notice on the table indicating that one must stand as close to the door as possible to get reception and then 'hopefully' still get it when going back to the kitchen table area! We were right next to the door at the closest point and could still not get reception. This was very disappointing as my husband is connected worldwide 24/7 for his work so needed good internet. Even after standing outside, phone aimed at the Wifi repeater it still wasn't working properly.
The other problem was the water was not very hot. My husband had a lukewarm shower at night and was surprised, I was hoping to have a spa bath but could not as it was not hot enough. In the morning, we had showers and the water was only just warmer. When management was advised, we were told that "everybody probably had had spa baths" with no evidence of such happening. We were informed that the hot water supply was from gas on demand, which made it even more bizarre for it to be only lukewarm.
For either of these 2 issues we were not given any apology, which would have gone a long way.
