Friendly and professional staff. - The bathroom was nice and modern with a really good sized shower - kitchen also was roomy so if we had needed to cook it would have worked well for us. Extra blankets at night time also appreciated as will as delayed check-out time. Extra points for providing modern USB ports. Tea flavor could have been nicer - maybe better brand like Dilmah. Though plenty of milk supplied. A little more room in the lounge/bedroom would be good.

• Guy (9/5): - A typical NZ Motel. Host was super friendly and helpful. Pictures suggest a community setting, but it is much more industrial than that - don't get me wrong, not noisy, etc; but on the more industrial side of town. Had to drive 10 minutes to get to reasonable food options. Slightly older facility that has been updated (mostly).

• Anna (10/5): Cheap, cheerful and wonderful staff! - Very clean and tidy. Modern room with a bathroom and kitchen with a mini lounge. Fantastic shower pressure and great little touches like shoe racks, shower essentials and coffee pods! Great communication from Staff! Very minor thing as it was semi open planned the microwave light could be seen glowing from the bedroom. For sensitivity to waking up to light like myself bring a sleep mask!

• Teresa (10/5): Our group of 7 really loved this place with all you need and more. Great value - a lovely place. I wanted to do a review as soon as i arrived. Requested cot was already in place. Attention to detail is superb. Coffee pods/teas and real milk. A complimentary can of coke in the fridge. Super clean with lovely beds,linen and pillows. Fresh towels daily. Hairdryer iron spare blankets heater (units are well insulated so warm anyway). Honestly couldn’t fault this place. Value for money and will recommend to friends Nothing bad to say
• Tana N Pat (7/5): As above comments - I think the owners are in the process of updating each room the room we stayed in everything was brand new carpet, beds ,couch,fridge even the tea towels were brand new, the bed was extremely comfortable slept well, the only problem we had was the step up into the unit was hard for my husband as he has mobility issues, but the host was very happy to help with luggage etc Happy to recommend others to stay there No comment

Room looked like it was recently renovated and had a very homely feel. The slippers and coffee machine were a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely come back if we are down that way.

• Katie Dey (7/5): Fine for a fairly budget motel. - Modern and clean. The bathroom tap was almost unusable stiff. It was hard to find the drinks, they were all jumbled up. We thought there wasn't any instant coffee then found some on the second day in with the tea bags. It took us a while to find the sugar, which was in an unlabeled container that looked like salt! The lights were very bright, which was a bit unpleasant in the evening. Lamps would have been much nicer.

Lots of space in the bathroom. Comfortable beds. Sky television and free wifi. There was nothing we didn't like. The motel exceeded our expectations

It was very clean and tidy with a really good kitchenette which was well supplied. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a decent shower. We had enough space for 4 of us - myself and three of my children (one of whom is an adult). The motel owner (??) was very friendly and very responsive to requests. It is always abit of a lottery booking a motel online but this was a very pleasant surprise. Even so close to the motorway it was quiet and on a really nice street and a perfect location for us having an event at Te Ngaengae pool on Sunday.

A full size fridge/freezer was a real bonus and a big shower with hot water and really good spray, bliss. Lovely quite location too. The wifi was very hit and missed but could have been to do with the wet weather.

Fully equipped kitchen area in our room. We stayed 2 nights then traveled further north and came back and had our same room, which was just as welcoming as the first visit here.
