Didn’t use the heated pool or spa but looked clean. Staff helpful. Across the road from the night markets and only metres to Cavill Avenue/mall. Affordable apartments and free secure parking. The second bedroom had 2 single beds, common in apartments but would have liked a queen. I didn’t request though, but will next time. It was a little dated but the affordable price for beachfront reflects that.

• Tina (9/5): Location location - Location is amazing, would stay again definitely for the location. the bed was a bit hard for my liking and the second bedroom doesn’t have an aircon. It is also super bright in the morning and it would be nice to have block out blinds as I’m not a morning person.
• Kaka (9/5): Great location and views - The view, location, and space in the 2 bed unit was great for 2 adults and 2 kids. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and cheery and gave my kids some colouring book packs.I liked that it had two bathrooms as well. The pool, spa and pool toilet were clean so that was nice. Markets were literally across the road and 2 min walk to Cavill Ave and surrounding streets was awesome. Tv and dining table size were great. Couch, dining table chairs and beds were comfy. Washing machine and dryer were awesome too. It was clean, but I could have detailed better like dust off the lamp bases, dust on the alarm covers, streaky mirrors. I met another person in the pool that asked if I was in room # and said him and his wife were put in it before my family but asked to change rooms as it was unclean with hair everywhere and cracked bathroom screen glass. Obviously, it was fairly cleaned before we got put in there. I didn't like the vacuum that didn't charge, so we couldn't vacuum our unit, I alerted the staff, and they said they would replace it ( not sure when).

Barbie was so nice and helpful, she helped us to upgrade our room and have a late check out. Make sure to add your requirements in special request if you want a top floor room and great view. Nothing special.

We would go walk around surfers at night or late stroll for some dessert. Beach straight across the road we watched the sunrise and sunset afternoon swim. We stayed in 2BR apartment 4 days very spacious 2 adults 3 kids main bedroom had en-suite kitchen has everything you need just buy your own groceries all set. We booked last min as it was unexpected trip had a request for apartment with less carpet due to very bad allergies to dust and they pulled through even tho i only booked the night before we arrived from interstate. Think the cleaning of slide door skirting needs bit more attention few and some very big dead bugs and the inside lamps as well could do with a clean or change. Curtains could do with a clean or some new ones very outdated and we’re bit dusty so had to do a run over with hand held vacuum we borrowed due to my daughter allergies. Other then that everything was good

• Emily (7/5): Good Location, Apartment is tired and needs a refresh. - The property is in a central location, within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The beach is just across the road. There are no A/C in the bedrooms, the bath and showers are very slippery, we found toys under the Lounge and the windows where dirty. The main bathroom was very smelly.

• Katherine (8/5): I had a good time. - I was really happy with the location, and the view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were neat and tidy. The bedrooms had overhead fans and airconditioning. I was a little disappointed with the carpets in the lifts and bedrooms in the apartment. The bathrooms need an upgrade and the ensuite bath needed attention. I was disappointed that there was no airconditioning in the living area as when I arrived it was a very hot day and the curtains were open so the room was very hot and there was only a fan. On the following days, I pulled the curtains across to stop the heat which defeated the purpose of having a room with a view.

They also advertise accessible rooms but they are not. I have never seen so much filth in my life. • Andre (2/5): The dirty and dated unit really ruined our holiday - Close to the beach and the city centre. Tennis court and pool were good The room was literally falling apart. The sofa was so dirty, old and full of dust we had to buy a cover sheet to be able to sit on it. Bathroom was filthy, shower water pressure was so bad we could barely take a shower. No wifi. Lights in the bedroom unusable due to terrible flicker.
• Ebony-Jayne (7/5): Fantastic location ! Great views from balcony and main bedroom. Pool, spa and sauna were great. Right across from the be - Location was absolutely fantastic ! Beach front. Walking distance to shops, tram, activities, food. The view from the balcony was amazing ! I could watch the beach and ocean whilst laying in bed in the main bedroom. The pool, sauna and spa were great. Bbq area was great too. When we first arrived there were multiple cockroaches throughout the kitchen. The floor was also sticky in the kitchen giving the impression it wasn’t cleaned properly before we arrived. The washing machine didn’t work and the layout wasn’t practical. I had to go downstairs the next morning as we arrived late in the evening and the receptionist moved us to another room. Same thing the layout wasn’t practical and the main bed was just 2 single beds pushed together it wasn’t very comfortable. The pressure of water from the showers weren’t great in the room we stayed in.

Need some renovations (even a couple of thousands dollars input can make it a big difference..e.g. furniture wrapping, door handle replacing (it will cost ten bucks each from Bunnings) and some painting etc. but it's worth for the $ and you can have plenty room for a 4 people's party...

• EL GRINGO 988 (8/5): EN FONT DE MER POUR UNE BAIGNADE MATINALE - Le point le plus positif est la situation géographique, en front de mer, donc juste tu traverse, tu es sur l'esplanade et la tu plonge à la mer. La vu magnifique sur la mer à perte de vu + sur l'esplanade. l'appartement très spacieux. Un peu plus d'ustensile de cuisine pour faire la cuisine à la maison pour les enfants c'est mieux sinon pas grand chose à détester.

• Robert (7/5): Overall a good experience but assume there is no internet. - The unit was well appointed and in a great location. easy to access and park at but it is a old unit that has been all fixed up so it has good size rooms. The unit could use a really good cleaning but it was ok. The worst part about the stay was that the internet they provide is worse than old dialup internet service (i am not joking), it was utterly useless even the smart tv on site would not stream most of the time. I do not know how it is even possible to have a active network/internet service in place and have it be so poor.

Service was also awesome, my husband dropped the apartment key on the lift gap and the manager was quick and very helpful. And they took note that we were celebrating my birthday and Barbie (reception) made sure to check in on me when we met and on the days of our stay. Travelling with an infant meant that we had to use the kitchen quite often and some of the utensils were dirty and there was a used coffee cup left on our balcony when we checked in.

• Jaymi (4/5): Great location but dirty and over priced. - We loved the location of this accommodation! The staff were lovely. The overall cleanliness wasn’t good. The bathroom and kitchen were clean however the rest of the unit was basically filthy. The windows on the outside haven’t been cleaned in months if not years. We had a beautiful sea view but couldn’t see out of the windows from the salt build up. There was dust everywhere. Every light switch was coated in dust. The lights in the main living and kitchen didn’t work, the globes were that dull they pretty much looked like they were turned off. The dust behind the blinds and on the window sill looked like it hadn’t been touched in years. There was a sock and tooth pick under the main bed so clearly it’s not been vacuumed underneath for a while. The mat in the living room really needs to be thrown out and replaced, it’s disgusting. For the amount of money we paid to stay here we feel really ripped off and we won’t be back.
• ben (6/5): - Location Place is old and dated and needs a makeover , beds are uncomfortable, tape over the kitchen benches holding it together along with tape over tiles in the main bathroom, main toilet leaks out the back onto the floor when flushed, microwave and various parts of the unit needs cleaning.
