The central location allowed us to walk to dinner each night, we could gather chairs for afternoon drinks on the lawn, plenty of parking. Rooms large, clean and modern

Also didnt like the extreme draft coming through the window seal, despite window being fully shut... this let in draught, cold and noise from street. Simple fix to get seals replaced. Was cold first night as didnt find extra rug until next day, would be good to have this on end of bed, or stored with extra pillows. Didnt think to look in the draws.

Great host and location was excellent Sadly the traffic noise was excessive and only eased slightly for about 4-5 hrs during the night. This has affected my rating and will probably not stay again especially in units close to the road

One night stopover mainly to get a good look at Mount Taranaki, didn't happen but had a nice visit and a great meal at one of the hotels. Longish drive from Taupo was great with so much to see and enjoy.

Water-saver shower disappointing experience as a result... Road noise from the adjacent road was quite noticeable.

Located one street over from Devon St, handy to 3 supermarkets in easy ealking distance. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure good. TV options included Sky & Netflix. Kitchen facility adequate with complimentary coffee etc. Only downside was noise of vehicles in close proximity to accommodation. Might be better in rooms further away. Recommend earplugs if a light sleeper.

Ashleigh (4/5): Disappointing. - Staff were friendly enough. Location is good if you want to be right in the middle of town for convenience. Photos must be outdated as didn’t look the same, we arrived at the property and immediately wanted to leave but we had already paid. Beds were very uncomfortable (mattress and pillows must be quite old as the bed just sinks as soon as you sit on it and we’re not big people at all) we had no sleep all night which isn’t great when you’re travelling a lot. Shower pressure was very weak, could barely wash ourselves.

Close to the city, very close to 3 different supermarkets and Pukekura Park, and everything else I wanted to be near. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times, and very relaxed. I would definitely stay there again, without hesitation. I didnt have a single issue with anything during my stay, which was for 19 nights and clearly a very long time.
