• Rawinia (7/5): Had a pleasant stay, although we spent most of our extended stay out of the lodge - Location is great, handy to main town and much more. Super cute and cozy family vibe. The sandflies and mosquitoes were a pain, but a bit of bug repellent works well. Every sound you make feels like its heard through the house, so you find yourself whispering and tip toeing through the house. The Shower cube is enclosed so it feels a bit gross, and the windows in the bathroom need more covering because you literally can see someone using these amenities from outside.
• Rosling (7/5): Overall, a pleasant stay. - Friendly, welcoming hosts that made me feel at home. Comfortable, clean bedroom and bathroom. Amenable kitchen. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Free wifi. Not the easiest to get to, it's just off the highway but easy to miss and awkward if coming northbound as it's on the opposite side. Also there were quite a few mosquitoes.

The bedding was really comfortable and it was easy to get to sleep. Everything else was perfect and it would definitely recommend this to people staying in kerikeri and I would too next time. That we didn't stay longer

Es ist alles da, um zu kochen etc. Die Lage mitten in der Orangenplantage ist sehr schön. Man kann mit den Küchenabfällen die Schweinchen füttern. Es ist auch immer eine Schale der leckeren Bio-Orangen im Cottage. Danke 🤩

• Angie (9/5): Lovely rural setting - Large plot of land attached to the lodge full of fruit trees, some chickens and a couple of pigs ( in pens, not roaming all over the place!) It is a shortish car ride to Kerikeri, Waitangi Treaty grounds, Paihia and ferry to Russel, probably too far to walk so a car is needed. The owner helpfully left my sister and husband park their camper van (so were self sufficient) for the duration of the stay and at no cost which was kind of him. It was season for oranges so we were offered them each day- they were lovely and sweet, thanks!

• Kathryn (9/5): A lovely relaxing stay, a great vibe, like a home away from home. - Clues is very friendly and accommodating, and very interesting to talk to. He is around if you need him but he leaves you to enjoy the property in peace if you don’t. A clear passion for sustainability and environmental care is evident. The kids loved the pool and feeding the pigs. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable.

• Astra (10/5): Kerikeri hideaway - It was awesome that we could have our dog with us and could walk her in the orchard. She loved the kunekune. Staff were nice and helpful. As it had been raining, they allowed us to check in 1 1/2 hours earlier and we were able to watch Netflix. The very clean cottage was in a lovely orchard and the oranges were sweet to eat. My son loved the swimming pool and we were able to cook tea on the gas top stove and the small elecric oven. 10/10 for my family. The couch was hard.

• Huntley (8/5): - Friendliness. Shared Facilities. Beautiful farm location. Easily accessible. Be mindful that if you stay at the main house, you will share it with others, including the owner. The owner is incredibly hospitable, so it's not a bad thing at all, but perhaps not to everyone's liking for a vacation.

Our little dog loved the freedom to roam safely outside and meeting the pigs, lambs and chickens. Wi-fi a little slow at times and beds a tad firm for us but otherwise super relaxing - with a fitting name.

Voll zu empfehlen! - Sauber, gemütlich, die Terrasse mit Blick in die Orangenbäume (Organic) war recht privat, gute Betten und frische Früchte, spielende Vögel - süße Schweine- alles was das Herz begehrt. Host is very accommodating. Great outdoor verandah areas No locks on the bedroom door and towels not provided for double rooms and dormitory stays. More designated parking area and signage needed ie; keep bathroom clean, food scraps etc. Only one shared bathroom available

Claus is a lovely host and the bungalows are obviously very well looked after and maintained. Beds very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are great. Absolute bonus that we can have the dogs join us for a weekend away! Everything was great but a sofa that’s a bit comfier would be great.

Also like the hens, pigs, oranges and everything there Nothing till now.

• Katinka (10/5): Perfect accommodation - Perfect accommodation. A very spacious and comfortable two bedroom stand alone house. Very clean and supplied with everything you could want, especially in the kitchen. Shower had excellent water pressure. The spa bath looked very good though we didn't use it. The beds were comfortable and the wardrobes were useful. Pretty view of the organic orchard from all the windows. A lovely welcome when we arrived. A very easy drive to Kerikeri, just around the corner.

• Paul (9/5): A nice stay with Klaus - A wonderful stay with Klaus in relax a lodge. Facilities were kept very clean. A bonus to have received free fruit from local orchards that were organic and had not been sprayed with any of those chemicals 🤮. Helpful signs in the bathroom ensured I was urinating correctly and with the appropriate level of cleanliness and excitement 👍 The rooms in the main lodge didn't lock. This may have been unnerving but I felt safe regardless and comforted by Klaus' presence. A British boy did wander into our room on the last night talking about Bristol cricket club and a strong innings from Jock McKenzie. While it made for a strange experience his offering of 'table tomatoes' cut through any potential tension.

• Cecilia (8/5): Very pleasant stay! - Clean, good location and nice hosts. I stayed in shared accommodation - had my own room but shared bathroom and other amenities (kitchen, lounge). My bedroom had a comfy bed and big wardrobe with shelves for my clothes and luggage. Also, it had lots of mirrors and two power outlets. The shared bathroom with shower has big window and door that are tempered glass. I wasn’t comfortable showering because you can see outside and inside.

• Claire (9/5): Great location and relaxing, clean, comfort amongst the orange trees. A real treat. - Being amongst the orange trees was lovely. Nice clean two bedroom cabin. Ideal for the family.
• Linda (8/5): Our Kerikeri stay - What a nice cottage! We were nicely impressed with the facilities. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We struck a very wet patch of weather during our 3 day stay. There were no spoutings on the roof, and the sound of rain dripping off the roof kept me awake.
• Paraha (8/5): Very good - Thank you guys for an awesome stay, at night you need to keep the doors and windows closed, otherwise you will get alot of Weta (Native Nz Grasshoppers sort of) in the rooms. Beautiful space, has aircon which is a huge plus 👍

Would definitely stay again Not a problem for us as we had a car, but important to note that this property is not in the centre of Kerikeri so having access to a car is very recommended.
• Patrick (9/5): Superb - The owner Clauese was very welcoming and entertaining. The estate is well maintained and managed. Everyone we met there were very friendly and helpful It was a fantastic stay and we would definitely stay there again. Nothing.

• Duffy (10/5): I hope to stay again one day!! - Open, airy, EXTREMELY clean!! I can't say enough good. Staff/owners very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, and I hope I have an opportunity to do that!! There are some long term guests also staying in the Main House, and they couldn't have been nicer!! I'm a solo female traveler in my mid 50s. I felt very safe and comfortable. I liked being in the Main House to I could talk to others whenever I felt like socializing. Sign next to toilet in bathroom is hilarious 😂 I would bring a natural mosquito repellent next time, but that's to be expected in an orchard. I only ever closed the curtain (not the exterior door), so it's mostly my fault. I was there 5 nights, and it didn't bother me enough to go buy any... (or shut the door!) 😃

• Rachel (5/5): Conveniently located, would be ok for one night. - The dog and pigs were nice, we had fun feeding the pigs. Lots of people to talk to. People were up late in the night and noisy. On the last night people up banging around at 1am, not considerate of others sleeping. Can hear other guests snoring.
