• Lynne (5/5): About what was expected for the price we paid. - The dirty mattress that took up the whole wardrobe I was using. Also the engrained dirt in the wardrobe tracks. The filthy carpet leading upstairs to our room. The milk provided was over 2 months out of date.

• Kelleher (8/5): An affordable and relaxing holiday - The location is great for walking either to Surfers or Broadbeach. Tram is also just around the corner so if you don't want to drive public transport is close by. Having your own car park in a secure garage gave me peace of mind safety wise. The price per night was affordable and the apartment was very clean. Its all you need for a short stay.

• angela (8/5): Perfect with an elevator - The pool lovely. The room lovely too. We had a very lovely stay. We didn't realise how many stairs There would be as my mum has a bad knee awaiting an operation. I don't blame the hotel I wish I had realised we would be on the top floor tho. Also the staff were a little difficult to get hold of.

• Shaun (5/5): Nothing - The location was probably the only good thing about the accommodation There was broken door latches, the main door didn’t have a chain lock or dead bolt to stop kids getting out, cooking utensils were gunked up with food, no wifi
• Peter (4/5): - The venue location is great. It is very close to the beach, public transport was 100m away, secure parking was provided onsite and there were several cafes / food shops close by. The pool, spa area, outdoor facilities and surrounding grounds were very well maintained. Also, the check-in / departure process was very easy and the onsite manager manager was very helpful and pleasant. All the basics were present in the unit. Our king size bed was very comfortable, the single A/C worked well and the front verandah was very pleasant in the mornings. There is no lift in the complex, so we had to carry luggage, groceries etc. up /down to our room on the 3rd floor. The security tag to access the building didn't work and the key to the unit was difficult to use until we worked out which way to hold our tongue (but the manager later fixed this issue). Booking.com is upfront that WiFi isn't available but it would have been good to have. Our disappointment with the venue mainly came from the condition of the unit (36). Without getting into specifics, my partner and I both felt that this is an old unit that could do with some love and attention to make it a much more pleasant place to stay.

• Gaurav (5/5): - Pool water temperature was good and clean. There is air pass on stairs. Please open atleast one window for ventilation in stairs. Quite aged room.
• Pamela (7/5): Spacious accommodation near beach and tram station. - Pool nice and clean and not too cold. Close to beach (five minutes walk) with patrolled lifesaving swim area. We were a party of four and dining seating in the apartment accommodated four and lounge seats/sofa accommodated four. About five minutes walk to the tram station. Apartment was spacious. No wifi in the apartment and therefore no smart TV/streaming etc. The advertisement didn't say there was wifi - I just assumed nowadays that all accommodation has wifi (will check for this in in future!). Accommodation, although listed in Surfers Paradise, was about a 35 minute walk to the main surfers paradise area/markets/attractions/supermarket. And about 25 minutes to Broadbeach Oasis shopping area. We are a fit family and happy to walk - we got the tram back though when we had heavy food bags.

The pool was great for the kids & the location to the beach A way to open the underground carpark to exit as there was no to open it. A fan in the living room & ventilation would be ideal. More utilisils. A strainer for washing veggies, can opener...etc Compost recycling. Thank you.

• Dean (8/5): Great location nice and quiet - Convenient location close to beach and trams. Secure parking. Early check in was awesome we had an early flight and were able to self check in by 8am. Pool was great.
• Charlotte (10/5): Just what we needed for our girls only vacay bday holiday. Perfect 11/10 - Amazing apartments, 10/10 for location, spacious & practicality for holiday stay. Pool & spa were amazing as well as very attentive & accommodating onsite manager. Beds super comfy and great balcony. We even stayed unknowingly at schoolies time however we wouldn’t of known if we didn’t go into cavil, no noise or anything entire 3 day stay 💗 Any issues we had were promptly resolved and the customer service was above expectations! Nothing negative to say, great place to stay !
• Lisa (4/5): Underwhelmed - The unit was relatively clean. We stayed in room 23 last night and were pretty disappointed by items in disrepair. The room presented clean but there are some significant fixes required. The main bathroom Shower screen fell out and I had to catch it and try put it back in. I then opened the drawer in the bathroom this morning and the whole front came off in my hand. There is no actual tap fixing to turn the cold on. There’s no light cover in the 2nd bedroom either. Some of these pose significant safety concerns. You also fail to tell people that’s there’s only stairs which is rather deceitful and not helpful for people with physical disability or elderly. Sadly, our stay was rather underwhelming. The room could be easily fixed to make a very comfortable stay.
• Daneille (6/5): Pleasant - Free parking, good customer service, very responsive. Pool looked lovely and clean. Good value for a family on a budget. Great lounge in our apartment. Floor was sticky. Definitely needs upgrading, broken fixtures.

• Lisa (9/5): Great budget friendly accommodation - families. - Location was perfect! Pool and spa lovely temperature. Air con in living area worked great. Very affordable and had most things we needed. Easy late check in arranged and early check out easy. Having free undercover parking was great. I wouldn't say I didn't like, more of a personal comfort thing, bedrooms struggled a bit in the heat to get them comfortable with only ceiling fans (main bedroom one needing some maintenance but they are in the process of doing that) but I come from a cooler climate so it would probably not be uncomfortable for others. Some little things are missing but not difficult to get ourselves.
• Mereana (4/5): Photos are a lie - The pool was nice even though the pump wasn't working. Bath was dirty when we arrived. Floor was disgusting. My feet would be black after walking on. The table was sticky like alcohol was left on the table. Fan from the roof felt like it was going to come off. Everything was dirty, and yuck. Was not worth the money. Doesn't look anything like the pictures. This is the kind of place you research to hope it's not a disappointment and end up being what you were hoping not to expect. Paid 550 for 2 nights. Was really disappointed.

No customer service, no explanation of anything had to try and work everything out on our own, no one to speak to for help.

• Kt (4/5): not the best value for price paid - Pool was lovely, the location is great, apartment appeared tidy, the staff were pleasant, air con was fabulous. room had a mouldy/musky smell on entry, the paper / contact on the ceiling in the bathroom is a fire hazard, no fan remote in main bedroom, maintenance is definately required on several areas of the appartment.

• Jessica (3/5): Location great, stay mediocre. - Pool was great, great location. Booked for 3 children (1,1,5) and 2 adults. On arrival was told we were on the top floor, 4 flights of stairs with 3 kids. To make matters worse I’m 36 weeks pregnant. On arrival I was also told our aircon wasn’t working. That “we thought it would be fixed before you got here” “it’s been lovely weather, I was GOING to call you this morning to let you know.” I asked for another room which was declined. Even though throughout our 3 night stay there “vacancy” sign was good. On our last day, carrying all of our bags down the stairs with 3 children, staff member offered additional night free. HAHAHA!! I would just prefer to have one night refunded or full refund really. Don’t tell me the weather is perfect, we travelled interstate to come to QLD. It was hot, our last night we were offered a fan. There are so many places to book, I choose the wrong one. If they had called and told us about aircon we could have rearranged hotel. Judging by the outside unit of the air conditioner (photo attached) you could probably see that it well and truely needed to be upgraded and you let it die before fixing it. Thank you for wasting my money and ruining what was meant to be a nice trip away before I give birth.

• Anil (8/5): Very Good - Everything was great from the start. The reception was excellent, and she promptly answered all our calls, clearing up any doubts about the keys and parking. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had basic utensils. Unfortunately, we lost a purse with cards after we left. We called her, and she quickly checked the apartment, but unfortunately, couldn't find it. Despite this, the staff was very helpful. We will definitely visit again next time.
• Jane (2/5): Very poor - The location was close to the beach and cafes, easy to navigate to The room was not clean, floors were dirty, food bits and smudges on cutting board and space around the microwave and old marks from spills on floor in kitchen, debris and hair around edges and carpet looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. Walls were filthy, dirt marks around light switches, door handles. The sheets and towels appeared clean, thank goodness otherwise we would not have stayed. We thought the price was cheaper because it was an older complex...not because it wasn't looked after. Shower was mouldy and the shower spurted water out of the joins.

It was obvious that the apartment is a little "aged" and in some need of renovation but for what we needed, it was fine.

• Sarah (7/5): Great stay! Would recommend Surfers Tradewinds and we will be back. - Location is perfect! Walking distance to the beach, right near flags, quick tram ride to either Cavill Ave or Broadbeach. Three minute bike ride to Broadbeach. Such a great spot. Pool and spa at the resort is great, kids loved it. Comfortable accommodation, homely feel and clean. Accommodation was either too cold or too hot. Some work on this would make it a bit more comfortable but was still a great place to stay.

The car park has irregular pillars and therefore you have to park very very carefully. The property answering machine didn’t have reception hours. I advised this to staff this is necessary Spa wasn’t working

• Doug (5/5): would not stay here again, - the location is good, the beds were comfortable enough and the shower water pressure was good the rooms are quite aged and not maintained well, there's no wifi, the staff have poor english language and are difficult to communicate with. Reception tried to charge my account 2 hours before check in time at 2:00pm and I had advised that I would arrive between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm at time of booking, apparently there was a problem with my account, and then I got messaged that my booking would be cancelled if I did not sort out within 2 hours, luckily I was able to go straight there and make payment. I found this very rude and bad behaviour on their part. I actually thought it was a scam when I got the message.

• Anonymous (3/5): Will not be staying here again - The location was close to the beach and the tram Extremely dirty, said it had been checked by management about the cleanliness but it definitely didn’t we had to mop and sweep floors because it was so disgusting. Mould in the shower. No ventilation on the bathroom.
