Jane (10/5): - A beautiful location, on the water and close to Australia Fair etc. The cabins were fantastic and very comfortable, modern and clean with a great kitchen, living area, nice bathroom which was bigger than some, comfortable beds and a great outside furnished area complete with our own barbeque and sink. We would highly recommend this place, we could not fault it in any way.

Anon (8/5): - The park advertises free WiFi but I was unable to connect to their WiFi the entire weekend. When I asked for help I was handed a piece of paper and asked to call the number of the company ‘freedimnet’ whereby I was on hold for long enough for me to just hang up. Therefore, there was NO WiFi availability and no help from onsite staff. The response was ‘it’s an external provider’. So we can’t help! I also didn’t like the fact I could MEL cigarette smoke from someone camping close to our site. These places need to ban smoking to protect those with allergies, asthma and those coming for fresh air.

The staff are lovely, the grounds well kept. the kids loved the park, I enjoyed my experience gere abd would definitely come back and reccommend here as a place to stay.

TIM (8/5): Nice for a family weekend. - It was pretty good. We were there for a racing regatta. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and scootering around. The only draw back was we couldn’t get the internet signal in the villa on the edge of the park. Other than that it was all good.

Verified traveler (8/5): Waterside Villa - We spent a delightful weekend beside the Broadwater at the Gold Coast, The outlook was peaceful, natural and hid us from the noise and bustle of Southport. The unit itself was fresh, comfortable, and had every modern convenience that we needed or wanted. As a 2 bedroom villa in a Caravan Park it was exceptionally quiet and very charming. We watched the Pelicans, the boats, the people catching fish just outside the Villas, and enjoyed a restful vista, yet were within a stones-throw from all the Gold Coast offers in food and entertainment. Very nice people in reception, helpful and welcoming.

Cool from aircon & fans in lounge & bedrooms - seperate toilet. Nice to have built- in BBQ on porch & pool a few steps away. Close drive up highway to theme parks & across the water from SeaWorld - could book at reception. Other shops & amenities close by. A few cons (but nothing unbearable) eg. needs better curtaining - outside lights shine into bedrooms, water runs out hole in outside sink pipe, no batteries in TV remote or instructions, kids in pool AH & loud, young, unsupervised kids roaming ( not parks fault just uncaring parents!) Asked at office for Pizza place & sent to Dominoes. Found out on driving home there is 2 Pizza restaurants 2min. walk across road! Still will come back again. Thank you to staff at reception for being courteous & helpful.

Excelent facilities including outdoor BBQ on the deck, large fridge, Foxtel (if you have time to watch), full kitchen amenities, hob, small oven, microwave. Would be excellent for a long time stay. Ideally setup for the family but equally good for four adults. Can't emphasize how good this place is. Would recommend to all.

Trudy (10/5): BAD WEATHER - GREAT WEEKEND - We booked through WOTIF for the last weekend of April. The weekend that had a once in 20year bad weather condition. We continued on with our stay as it was non-refundable. We are glad we did. The park is clean and facilities accessible. There were plenty of BBQ facilities. We also had an outside BBQ/kitchen in our unit. The unit was roomy, clean, modern and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, utensils, cooking equipment. The bathroom was heated. We had clean towels and linen. The park itself is easily accessible off the highway. Although it is outside of the main surfers precinct, it is close enough for it not to be a problem. I love that it is directly on the waterway. We will go back.
