We loved the view of the ocean/beach from the balcony. We had a ocean view studio and it was very small, but the view made up for it. Floor was tiled and seemed/felt dirty, so did not want to walk barefoot in the room. The bed was comfortable and linens were good. Quiet place and overall we enjoyed our stay. We did not use the pool or game room.

It was comfortable, good room sizes and we enjoyed a wonderful beach view. We even spotted a few whales from our balcony! The staff were all very friendly and attentive. When I visit the area in the future, I would happily stay at Don Pancho again.

The place was old but clean and there were workers upgrading the place and was not advised that there pool was getting a make over, would have loved to know when I booked the property.

Decor throughout was lovely, clean and well maintained. Stunning views of the Ocean whilst lucky enough to spot the Whales from the Hotels balcony. I Most certainly recommend Don Pancho By The Beach.

So much for a relaxing holiday. The scaffolding was 2.5m from my “poolside” entrance. No notice or apology offered for my booking

- Wade (8/5): - The view from the room was amazing. The rating for the property condition was because of the work currently happening, but not a reflection of my overall view of the property. Definitely plan on returning.
- Linley (6/5): - Really liked the spa and pool, especially the fact that it was salt water. Location was great, being able to walk down the stairs to the beach. They offered free bike hire and free paddle board hire. A few negatives were when we arrived we discovered that the resort was under construction which was not mentioned when booking. We then had to navigate our way around scaffolding in a small parking lot. There was a hole in the cememt which the scaffoling was not containing properly and the front wheel of my tire went over the edge as i was trying to reverse park into a very small space. Then when i finally did park, the car next to me could not open their door. When we could not figure out where to park because it was not clearly signed we went back to ask the recrptionists who acted as if we were dumb and unimportant she did not offer any help and was abrupt. When i put a complaint in about her, the next day when we went to reception to ask to hire some equiptment she confronted us and asked why we said she was rude , then complianed to us that she had gotten in trouble with her boss due to our complaint. This made us very uncomfortable and not want to come back to this place ever again. The rooms were also very small and not what was pictured online when booking also very outdated. There was no lift which made it hard to carry luggage upstairs. One positive was that from thursday onwards there was two lovely receptionists at the desk who made up for the rude one.

- Andrew (6/5): - Property is under renovation and wasn’t told that until I had booked the stay. I couldn’t cancel the booking and get a refund. Place wasn’t as described on wotif. It is under construction from 8am to 5pm so couldn’t go back to the unit unless we wanted to listen to construction work. The stay was ok but very disappointed there is nothing in Wotif to say the accomodation is under construction.

- Kim (6/5): - No dining table, and only one chair at a bench. Constant noise and couldn't walk to beach from unit. Car parks very small and difficult to get in. Spa very slippery.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Tiny Room - This motel is very old. There are renovations currently underway is one section. The room was very clean but too small and basic. The hosts were very nice.

- Paulina (8/5): - The location of the property was fantastic and right on the beach! We stayed in a studio room complete with kitchenette. Couldn't fault the room or the service, the only negative to our trip was the beds and pillows. The bed was extremely hard and quite uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than the bed, couldn't fault the resort and its facilities.
- Zig (6/5): - Great location however very tired and in need of an update to the rooms and facilities.
- graham (6/5): - There was no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes up also there was no toilets in the barbecue area or in the pool area you had to go back to your room
- Cathy (8/5): - I really liked the view from my room to the beach and ocean. I really didn't like the tennis court structure directly in front of my balcony, it was very old and rusty and a little noisy at times.

- Nigel (10/5): Really good stay - Really nice place to stay. Studio appt was fine for 2 of us. Fantastic view of the sea and beach from the balcony. Great to walk right out from the hotel to the beach. Really good to have the Samsung smart tv, so many channels and apps! Dont see those tvs too often. Will stay again
