- Peter (6/5): Good but weather affected - We were caught in the recent cyclone that forced changes to our travel. The staff went out of their way to make that happen for us without any fuss

With on site parking, although as we discovered it is subject to availability. However it worked out for us. Sound proofing from other rooms allows noise to be transmitted quite clearly. Ie you could hear someone visit bathroom during the night.

- Sophia (7/5): Disappointing stay in a former fave - I’ve always liked this Quest overlooking a near park and central located. Apartment has a great footprint and all the amenities you’d need, plus a lovely balcony. Unfortunately kitchen for onsite food still unavailable due to renovations (like last visit quite awhile ago) which a useful extra to have, but they still have the access to the city fitness gym which on top of the apartment amenities is an extra bonus.
Reception also happy to help. That a longer 10 day stay means room given less attractive than short stay eg. on side by noisy next door commercial building Aircon and tiny balcony – smaller than all the other rooms on that side.
That cleaning only done twice in a 10 day stay with the first being after 6 days ‘cos of Easter – just too long. Serviced apartment shouldn’t mean clearing your own rubbish to basement daily.
That cleaner didn’t wear a mask when sick so I got a nasty flu. To her credit she shared that info.
That reception staff mocked and imitated me because I was happy it was a Friday w completed job (prompted by off duty staff member)

Comfortable and clean The room did smell like mould and needed to be aired out a lot.

Otherwise it was ok for the price paid.
The staff were lovely to have let me check in earlier than expected, which was super helpful. It was on top of a hill- which I was not aware of, so that was tricky.
The room I got was facing Queen Street. So that was pretty noisy. The staff did tell me about this before I checked in.. coz I did ask for a quiet room but they were fully booked out.

- Vikki (7/5): Great place to stay close to the city. - The Quest we stayed at - note there are two - was clean, a good size and well located to walk into the city for sights, parks and ferry crossings to the islands. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. All in all good value for money. No ventilation in the bathroom, which was a problem when using the tumble dryer. It would be good to have a safe in the room.

- Brierlee (8/5): - Two bedroom unit . Relatively close to our event. Access to carpark could be streamlined . No parking on street only one park in-front of reception which was full . One way access to carpark meant having to back up onto busy street again and go round block when cars exiting onto street . Team wouldn’t give access to carpark until full check in completed despite confirmed booking for two room apartment and requesting carpark months ago. I wanted my husband to be able to park the vehicle so he wasn’t letting hanging backing back and forward just to be able to maintain a position at the premises. Perhaps a two way speaker at edge of carpark where our arrival could be announced to reception - we had booking confirmation number etc to quote. So reception could activate the carpark entry roll a door from office point.
