• Judy (9/5): Delightful apartment and great value for money - Lovely clean, well set up apartment. Great location with shops, restuarants, bars & surf club in easy walking distance. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bus stop minutes away to go north or south and only 50 cents per trip. Pool and spa were lovely and so clean. To top it off the ever changing view of the ocean was delightful.

We checked in late after hours and it was super easy, key drop off in the morning also really easy. Car parking Pool and spa was really nice The bed was not super comfortable but it was fine. And the only other thing that could be an issue for some is it’s not super soundproof, could hear doors slamming at all hours and people on the balconies. Didn’t bother us at all but may bother some people

• Andrew (6/5): Overall our stay outside was very pleasant being in close proximity to the beach ,cafes, restaurant. - We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel. The sofas and the chairs were very dusty. No room service for the time we spent during our stay. Beds not done and towels not replaced.

• Lenore (8/5): Very enjoyable - Our room had great water views. The complex is in a wonderful location as it is only a short walk to the beach, surf club and restaurants. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Had some noisy neighbours but you can get that wherever you stay.
• ELAINE (4/5): Very disappointed - I liked the position I thought it was exorbitant for a two night stay. I pd $540 for the two nights and I would rate the apartment as a 2 star. There was a dreadful smell of sewage near the lifts and the odour inside the lift was unbearable. I suspect I have a drainage or sewage problem. The unit had a very strong sense of bleach that actually made me feel ill. I had two uncomfortable nights because of (a) the bleach fumes as could not open windows as on the 1st floor and anyone could climb in and (B) the pillows and bed were not very comfortable. In addition, the blankets did not smell fresh and I would suggest they be laundered. I am not a fussy person but I was expecting a quality apartment for that money. I am sorry to say but I will never stay here again nor would I recommend. U either need to reduce your prices or improve your quality. My friends stayed at Alex resort and they got a two bed for $600. It was like a palace in comparison. Sunny, on the 5th floor with lovely views front and back

Views of the beach were lovely but it is on a main road so it can get noisy during peak hours. Onsite parking was convenient and secure. The room was a little tired and lacking lighting - particularly in the bathroom/vanity area.

We were dissappointed for the size of the room given the price which we felt was overpriced compared to other accommodation in the area with ocean views.

• Renee (5/5): Unit 3 - no sofa bed and uncomfortable other bed - Location to Alex Surf Club was exceptional. Across the road from the beach. Staff were also very lovely Property was advertised as having a sofa bed which I needed for me and my 13 yr old son. Unit 3 didn’t have a sofa bed. The double bed was also very firm and uncomfortable. Being near reception, also very noisy and no sound proofing.
• liu (9/5): A resort hotel that’s truly worth coming back to - The hotel is super close to the beach. The facilities are a little old, but everything is spotless and well kept. The reception staff were really friendly, and I’d definitely stay here again. It was a great experience overall.

Bed was super comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure. The compact lounge area which was a lot smaller than the photo suggests. No exhaust fans in the bathroom or kitchen. The kitchen and bathroom bench tops need replacing because of all the marks and chips that look like crumbs everywhere. Communication from the property was poor with no reply to an enquiry on booking.com or a phone message we left.

On arrival, we found our room not serviced, and we only given a apologise for the inconvenience. The staff didn't offer to go back to our room to get our bags to bring them down. Instead, they just started cleaning around them until we had to go and get them to move to another room. The new room was serviced but outdated. The bed was uncomfortable, and apparently, if you want more than a sheet on your bed, you need to make it. I've never been to a room that only puts a top sheet on bed. The windows did not seal, and the wind howled in the room all night.

• Ann (9/5): Lovely well equipped appartment for a couple of night's stay. - Compact apartment with separate living an bedroom. Well equipped kitchen area. Comfortable bed. Balcony with a bit of an ocean view. Garage parking available but very tight space. Glad we had a small car.
• Rogers (8/5): - The view was outstanding and the central location was excellent. The room was suitable for the two of us and we must like it, we have been staying there of and on for over 30 years. I would reccomend it to any couple of single person wishing to travel to the area. The units are starting to show their age. No dishwasher or vacum for cleaning, I guess we are spoiled in this modern day and age. I found the traffic on the road out front murder, I guess my life in a quiet regional suburb has spoiled me.

(3/5): Beautiful views from balcony, but lacking in other areas. - Pros: Beautiful view from the balcony, convenient location, secure parking garage, (when space is available), and they had a luggage trolley, (nice touch!) Cons: For us the staff were usually unavailable when we needed them, such as: 1. When someone was parked in our designated parking space (& there are no undesignated places in the parking garage) . 2. When the key provided to us does not unlock the pool area. 3. When there was an overflow alarm in the underground parking garage. Also: - There was a fly infestation, I would have killed dozens of them, but we did not want them to fumigate while we were there. - There were also many small ants in the kitchen area when we arrived. - We were also instructed that beach towels must be obtained from the office but when we want to get the beach towels, we were told no stock available, try later. - The second time, no one was in the office. When we called we were told no stock, but that we could spend our holiday washing our bath towels for re-use. - It was noisy late at night on occasion, with very loud gunshots or fireworks, and people fighting on the street out front. There are very basic amenities in the unit. There was a paring knife but it was too dull to cut anything. (I actually went out and bought a sharpener so we could sharpen & use the knife.) - The toilet leaks & runs constantly. - There is a waist height window in the shower with the main access hallway on the other side. It is clouded but still quite visible from the other side. - The provisions were the cheapest available, toilet paper so thin you could look right through it, those small round bars of soap that I think are made of lye, 4 sachets of coffee for our 5 day stay for the two of us. There is no heating or AC in the bedroom, only a ceiling fan. The entrance door does not always close properly, sometimes it needs a firm push / pull or anyone could enter at any time. See above

Bed comfortable and shower good. The balcony for Unit 5 is exposed to people coming and going and hot in the morning sun.

• Joanna (7/5): Wonderful stay, would stay again! - Wonderful location, close to the beach and cafes. Beautiful view of the ocean and loved the pool area. Super lovely staff at check in. We had booked the room for the pull out couch but didn't seem to have it. Door between bedroom and bathroom hard to move. Need better variety with the pillows on the bed.
