- Amanda (1/5): This place is the most disgusting accommodation I’ve ever come across. There was hair everywhere including inside the fr - Nothing!! Hair everywhere

No tea coffee or milk
Holes in towels

No blanket just sheet
Horrible place

- Angela (2/5): The stay was very outdated, very uncomfortable, dirty, and not a good value for what was offered! - The location was easy to find and on the main road. It was fairly easy to find, but the main business sign was not very visible at night when we arrived. The sign was not lit, either due to broken lighting or lights not present. When we arrived, the staff was waiting out front. It was an extremely easy check-in process, as they didn't require any identification or documentation. The staff made comments to my young daughter that I found to be inappropriate, which made me uncomfortable. When we arrived in our room, it was very outdated and felt dirty. The flat surfaces felt grimey and sticky. The air conditioner did not work very well throughout the night. The single bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable because we could feel every spring in the mattress. The three of us shared the one queen-sized bed so that we could sleep a little more comfortably. The bathroom door barely closed and did not lock. The small refridgerator in the room had what looked like mould and grime in the seals around the door. I would not recommend this place to any family or friends.

- Amie (10/5): - Lovely owner and quests & was a very compatible and cosy chilled stay 🙂
- Patricia (8/5): I enjoyed my stay. The accommodation was suitable and met my needs while staying for the weekend. - I did not have breakfast while staying at accommodation. Needing extra bin liners for the bin in the room.
- Jordden (1/5): - Nothing cause I paid for this room came there and they kicked me out because I'm a local it happened to me 3 times that day lol still haven't got the money back

- Garry (7/5): Ok - Location and quiet Toaster not working. Toilet bowl water not clearing. No tea towel and no dish washing liquid. Single bed moves.

- Megan (3/5): Won’t be staying again - Position. Good shower pressure Only one pillow each, no one attending reception - rang the bell several times no one came. Called the number for after hours even though we were within hours got message bank with just a single name then leave a message. Then a person came after calling twice and he didn’t know what to do and had to go and get another person who was sitting in a room where they could see our car waiting. Only two towels for three people. Couldn’t set the Air con. Old furniture stored out in the open like a tip.

- Shane (4/5): Not good value for money - Good location
Friendly staff Rooms very very old, broken toilet seat, dodgy shower, smell of damp in room, no smoke alarm in room, $175 for a night is way too much
- Tracy (1/5): -
- Lachlan (10/5): - Clean, comfortable rooms/bed. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend staying here Absolutely have nothing bad to say about the stay
- Sue-ellen (6/5): - Great area. Needs a revamp and some cleaning.

- Joel (6/5): - The property is in a good location for travelling through. The beds need updating urgently and they squeak... a lot!!
Parking is first in best dressed, so if you go out for dinner, you'll likely lose you close spot and have to park elsewhere. Restaurant was closed for dinner and breaky.

- Debbie (5/5): A nice place to stay with the exception of the bed being uncomfortable - Staff extremely helpful, heaps of hot water and shower pressure. Heaps of parking. Clean and tidy and walking distance to town centre. Bed to hard and extremely uncomfortable, only needs a topper to make it comfortable.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -

- Paula (10/5): Motel always caters for our needs & extra parking for trucks or caravans - Clean room, very roomy.
Staff very helpful
Close to CBD
Restaurant available Had to depart at 10am,would like to stay bit longer than departure time.
- Lowrey (3/5): Poor - Location was pretty good It was a family suite with 5 beds but we were only given one tiny sachet of shampoo/conditioner (suited for one person) and NO soap at all. There were 2 clocks in the room and both were set to the wrong time. There
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (5/5): Average - Curtains were stained and bed linen was what I’d expect to find in a kids room. We were travelling with children and needed 2 rooms and these originally were at opposite ends of the hotel had to pay additional for rooms to be moved closer and they still weren’t next to one another.
- Tom (8/5): - Looking a little tired and dated and needs up-grading. Room very basic. Helpfulness of staff was very good.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yvonne (8/5): Very comfortable -
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Vickie (10/5): Most enjoyable stay, wish it could have been longer! - The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were huge with lots of bench space. The location was great with the Shamrock Hotel just across the road. There was nothing not to like.
- Julie (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable, warm welcome.
- Roger (5/5): Passable -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wade (7/5): Good - Location and staff Little bit pricey for what you get and how old it is
- Geoffrey (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathew (3/5): Much better places to stay in Mackay for the same rate - Staff are friendly Rooms are very run down the one we stayed In had holes in the walls that were only half fixed the door handle on the front door did not work looks like it’s been opened with a crowbar and kicked open
- Lisa (7/5): Good - Friendly staff Limited breakfast options
- Shaquira (4/5): Disappointing -
- Trent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (5/5): Passable -
- Aquarius (6/5): Pleasant -
- Daniel (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good, with great air conditioning and a spacious room Bed was terrible, felt like we were lying on cement.
- Keith (6/5): - Room was dated within, broken fittings including fridge.
Bed was clean.
- Susan (7/5): Good -
- Dv (1/5): Wouldn’t go there again - Pool When we arrived there was a dirty towel in the bathroom, a piece of pizza and a can of soft drink in the fridge and there was damage to the main door which was very disappointing
- Deb (1/5): Will never go back and feel a refund would be appropriate - We booked in at 3:40 and went to the room, there was a smell in there and the floors
felt sticky. The shower mat had a big hole, there was mold on the ceiling and the shower screen and the fridge was dirty. We checked out at 5 the same day. The room was not as the pictures inferred. Could not stay as it felt unhygienic. Nothing.
- Mariah (7/5): Good -
- Dean (8/5): - Friendly staff and clean room
- Paula (5/5): Passable -
- Maddie (2/5): Stingy as hell - Good location at least, on main strip Not even a bowl for breakfast in the morning. Not even a plate but some oval shaped thing. No little bit of milk for coffee either. Talk about stingy. One chair at the table…
- Roger (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cassandra (2/5): Very poor - There was nothing at all to enjoy with this accommodation. Room very out dated, bed hard as a rock and the laundry facilities were dirty and to top it of the dryer didn't work and the owner refused to refund the $4 that was wasted on it.
- Niclair (5/5): Passable -
- Bruce (3/5): Not good at all best part was leaving in the morning - Nothing Shower shorted water into the roof
Pulled sheet back on bed black bugs come out from under sheet
No cold water in fridge
No milk in fridge for coffee
Will never stay there again not impressed at all
- Toko (10/5): Great - Awesome stuff Bula Vinaka
- Dave (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Danielle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Debra (2/5): - My Daughter checked in as I was on a flight.
Upon check in she a was told by the very unpleasant receptionist that my 3 year old grandson wasn’t on the booking and she would have to sign a declaration, which she did, to agree to that, when in fact he was on the booking. I sorted the issue out with him over the phone but my daughter and her son stayed at a friends house as she was made feel like she had done something wrong.
There was tea, coffee and sugar but no milk for a cup of tea. There was a large hole in the towel.
I would never stay there or recommend it to anyone.
- Steven (2/5): Very poor - Very misleading photos
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
