• Marianne (10/5): A very enjoyable time in Bowral with extremely comfortable accomodation. - The room was very nicely furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. A good sized TV, Foxtel, lounge and arm chairs. The kitchenette was ample for my needs and well provided with china, glasses and utensils. The location was well placed to the shops and restaurants in Bowral. There was adequate parking for the number of cars that I saw. My only criticism is that I would have liked to be able to order breakfast to be served to my room or a dining room where I could order and eat my breakfast.
• Robyn (10/5): Nice big apartment for a weekend away in Bowral - Great apartment with 2 bedrooms which had very comfortable beds and bedding. the apartment is quite big with a fire place and central heating & galley kitchen. there were 4 of us staying for a family wedding so it was great to have the second bathroom. A really nice big balcony as well, which would be great in the warmer months. Centrally located and a short walk to the Bowral main shopping area. Definitely would recommend and would stay again.

The accommodation was of high quality both inside and outside with the well maintained garden. Autumn trees are beautifully showcased in the Heritage Park. I was truly amazed with how beautiful the area is. Highly recommended. Special thanks to the ladies at the reception who are so welcoming and made sure our we have seamless stay.

• Nadia (10/5): Exceptional stay - It was the best and unexpected surprise. Absolutley stunning room and sooo comfortable!!! Would definitley come back again. A little pricey to be only an hour drive from sydney but to be honest was a worth while expense. Made our stay in Bowral such a luxurious time!! it feels like the complex and hallways makes it a motel until you walk outside to the beautiful gardens and also the room inside is so luxurious. They also only have 12 rooms available to the public at the time we booked which made booking for the family wedding really hard for all the other guests, but happy i got to be lucky enough to get a room!

• j0hnty47 (10/5): Our favourite location in the Southern Highlands. - The Sebel Bowral is conveniently located about 500m from Bowral township. It is a handy location with restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets in walking distance. The room had a separate bedroom and bathroom and comfortable couch in the living area. The kitchen enabled us to prepare meals when required rather than relying on eating out for all meals. Car park is close by and there are some stairs to reach most rooms. The area is excellent for relaxation and country or suburban walks. Neighbouring villages of Moss Vale, Berrima and Mittagong allow different areas to visit within about 10mins drive. Multiple walking tracks and birding locations abound for the more active visitor

The staff noted but cared little, I have even complained to the venue direct and not received a reply.

• Kprime86 (8/5): Sebel Apartments Bowral - Excellent location to main street of Bowral and to the other outer tourist areas. Clean and quiet, they have now reduced their footprint with refill water stations at the end of each wing of the apartments. You can refill with still or sparkling water.

The room was set up to be able to cater for disabled people which is fine, however the sink in the bathroom was quite low down which meant you were stooping to wash and clean your teeth

• Rose (1/5): Very disappointing, party room next door ruined our stay - We had booked a two day stay at the Sebel Bowral for a wedding stay, on our first night the room next to us ended up as the Party Room for a large group of travellers mainly males that decided to congregate in that room, I called the after hours number which is listed in the information sheet regarding the noise level and party taking place, the Sebel staff member replied that they did not have a manager onsite and they could not manage this situation as they had no security staff, she requested we knock on the door and ask them to keep the noise down !!!! I replied that there were a lot of of people in the room, mainly males and that they sounded quite drunk, this would place my husband at risk if they became aggressive and I felt it was not appropriate to ask the guests to manage this, at this point the line went dead and there was no follow up or response. The following morning my husband spoke with the manager, expressing his disappointment of the lack of concern,safety and security of their guests, we would not recommend or stay at the Sebel Bowral again.

The adjoining door between our room and neighbours meant we could hear their crying baby and early-rising children. No room servicing for first week meant poor value for money. A poorly planned property meant we had to use a lot of stairs to enter and exit our room (which we had been advised of by host prior to arrival).

• Margaret (5/5): Lacking value for money. - I've stayed many times over the years at Heritage Park, even prior to the Sebel taking over the management. The location to town is a pleasant walk, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are well designed, spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette is well-equipped. The carpet was filthy and heavily stained. Given the usual standard we have experienced, it's hard to understand why it hasn't been cleaned. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly; however, there was pressure selling for us to participate in an 80-minute survey/online meeting, clearly a sales pitch in return for a dinner voucher, but they would not specify what it was about, which puts me off. For the price we paid, and considering it’s a high-end hotel in the area, one would expect a smart TV, which is standard nowadays. The entire IT setup needs updating.
