Very convenient. - The location was very convenient to the town centre but yet the hotel is very quiet and right next to River Macleay. The room was very clean and equipped with a microwave oven and other standard amenities. The bed was firm and comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful when asked about places to eat and petrol station. None.

- Julia (7/5): - Peaceful location and rooms have all basic facilities you need. Extremely high rates here and all around the area for one night in a tiny studio room in a regional area. Cost more than a night in a top hotel in Melbourne or New York. Crazy prices. It just feels like travellers are totally taken advantage of in holiday season. Not just this place but all the places in the area - ludicrous rates.

A smell of cheap carpet cleaner hit me when I walked in. Had to open windows and leave front door open for a while! Old and worn facilities. I went to use the kettle and opened the lid and there was mud and water in the bottom of it! Luckily a microwave so I could heat up water for coffee in that! Always open the lid of motel and hotel kettles!

Bedding was very comfortable and the room was well laid out. Not that we did not like anything, but to say some area's did show signs externally that required some maintenance.

- Tonia (9/5): they were accommodating, very friendly and very comfortable. - the proprietors were very understanding about chaning my booking arrival date & time & left the key for easy access. the bed was very comfortable with fresh crisp linen. the bathroom was very well stocked, clean and easy to use. nearby there were some guests who were talking loudly enough to disturb my trying to sleep - not shouting, but easily heard as background noise, at 4am. couldn't see any air conditioning, which may be a problem on a humid night.

- markzed66 (8/5): Pleasant Stay, nice location. - Stayed here overnight as a stopover on a QLD trip. The room is aged but in good condition, and very cleqn. The aircon is very quiet and very effective. The bed was clean and comfy. The TV is a little small but good enough, and has a few streaming services available (like Netflix). The kitchenette had all the usual cutlery/crockery and a nice little fridge to keep my soft drink cold. The bathroom had a few niggles but nothing critical. The hot water in the bathroom vanity did not work, but I didn’t really need it; the hot water in the shower was fine. The flouro light above the mirror was not switching on. There is a little table/chairs outside the room and would be good for an evening drink or morning coffee. The motel is right next to the river and has a reasonable view. I did not try the pool but it looked pretty good. I would happily consider staying here again.
