Our room was clean, modern style bathroom, beds were good as they had heated blankets which were perfect for the cold night. Jessica (5/5): Okay if you aren’t picky. - Location was good, the room was clean and coffee and tea provided. Bathrooms looked renovated. Unfortunately a lot of things missed the mark here, some not the motel’s fault. We stayed for Bathurst Royal with our cats and usually I am not one to complain but the barking from the dogs next door was next level. Both nights dog people left their dogs in their cars which were parked outside our room- we had no parking spot and hard to park across the road on the street while we had barking dogs right outside our door. The room was clean however a fan in the bathroom stayed on and was very loud the entire night. We also were not told via phone or text about the second building so accidentally tried to enter what we thought was our room, only to figure out later that our room was across the street. This information was in an email but was not in the text we received or communicated over the phone when we paid the pet deposit.

Phillip (8/5): The two slight things I mentioned above did not really spoil our stay at Bathurst Explorer Motel. - The Motel Staff was excellent & very friendly, our room was ready even though we arrived 30 minutes before the check in time, room had everything we needed, Air Con, Bed, TV, Toilet & Shower. Only slight thing was that the room was very small, however as stated above it had everything we needed. Also the parking spots were not numbered, we went out for dinner & a show, when we came back someone else had parked outside our door & we could not park near our room.

Monique (7/5): - I booked last minute on the Sunday night of a long weekend and was notified almost immediately of the arrangements for the keys as reception was closed. This was much appreciated. Room had facilities that were easy to locate and was good value for money. Found the beds to be super comfy. Finding a park was a bit hard - but that's what happens when you are the last person to check in. Noise did travel a little from the neighbouring rooms, but wasn't a huge issue during my stay.

Jason (8/5): Reasonable motel, on the far side of CBD Bathurst - I hired two family rooms due to what was going to be the number of people staying. One of the rooms 14A was across the road from the main motel and the room was quite spacious. Separate room with double bed, 2 single beds in the main room along with table and chairs and tv. bar fridge with milk, tea and coffee supplied. Extra blankets/pillows, iron/ironing board. Bathroom was ok. Everything was pretty clean. Fruit bats hang about in the grape vines late at night just out on the balcony so bewarned but they fly off as soon as they hear noise Other room was room 4 in the main motel side. This was bit on the smaller side, 2 separate bedrooms with a tv in each and bathroom that's it bar fridge and tea/coffee in the main room (which had double bed + table and 2 x chairs) other room had 2 x singles and table + chair there was a "damp" smell near the front door bathroom was spacious i guess and good water pressure and heat in the water Motel was about a 10min walk to Hotel Dudley which does nice meals and drinks are good room 4 has neighbours and their dog barked throughout the night which kept me awake. The single bed i had was quite comfortable and the pillows were not too bad.

I did expect some form of gesture about the second night , but sadly ,nothing .

Brian (8/5): Always stay here and but the price has become too much for us and will have to look at alternatives. - The light at the bottom of the tv stayed on all night lighting the room up like a Christmas tree! Door shook all the time with the air on, so put a chair behind it. Booked a ground floor and was given upstairs, but staff lovely and gave us a ground floor. Can’t do upstairs, so not getting our initial request was disappointing. Staffed were really lovely and we got a ground floor.

The Hoogies (6/5): - Clean, basic rooms. Staff lovely, position good. Not enough parking for customers.
Sally (5/5): Small room with minimal space and not enough storage area or bench space - Convenient location & close to where we needed to be Rooms were very small. Beds were very uncomfortable. No space to put suitcases and things. Narrow walkways. Only 2 chairs for 3 people. Not enough room in kitchen area. Only one teaspoon provided. No other cutlery or dish washing liquid. Fridge was very small so couldnt store all our food & drink in there. The bathroom had a step up into it which was a trip hazard. It was also very small with nowhere to put your clothes whilst showering. No shower door or curtain so water leaked out to the toilet beside it making the whole floor slippery. No exhaust fan either in the bathroom. The outside stairs up to the first level felt quite steep & not very good hand rails one side. Just a poky and crowded room for 3.

Bennett (8/5): Overall it was a value for money room but just too noisy to consider staying there again! - Very helpful & friendly staff. Although it was a compact room it had everything we needed & was good value for money. Unfortunately it was an extremely noisy location with double b trucks going passed all night long which made sleeping very difficult.

Mark (10/5): Fantastic place to stay, highly recommend - Had a very comfy night, had everything we needed, and was dog friendly too. Very convenient to the township, just a short drive away.
