- VicP498 (6/5): A disappointment. - We have stayed at the Moe Motor Inn on many occasions over many years, so it was sad to see how the standard of this accommodation has deteriorated. Firstly, it has very limited reception hours, therefore when we arrived we needed to access our room keys through an automated system , which was okay for us, however for the less technical savvy, it may be a challenge. Next, the room was very tired with wear noticeably everywhere we looked. From walls needing a refresh, the bathroom needing an upgrade due to leaky and loose taps, to a very well worn toilet seat. Although the shower worked well, it too needs some TLC. And the bed was very hard and the bedding really needs updating. The outside is very sad, with stairs where the carpet covering is very frayed and dirty, the gardens look very unkempt and the car park needs a good sweep and pot holes repaired. Overall it was disappointing from what has been over the years.

The floor had bugs on it and the place was not clean, sheets on the bed had holes pillow case cover was torn.

- Moya (2/5): - I was alarmed when I drew up to the property as it was so shabby and deserted looking. No staff, just a machine to check in. I felt too frightened to stay there initially, it eventually was able to contact the after hours number who assured me I’d be OK. The room was adequate and the sheets seemed clean, however shabby overall. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anyone else.

- Heather (8/5): Comfortable, well-equipped motel - Moe Motor Inn is very comfortable and has all the facilities you could want, including a microwave and bowls, plates and cutlery for 2 people. A fridge/freezer is provided. The only downside to mention is that the shower, which is a large walk-in shower suitable for the less able, does not have any grab rails and the floor becomes a bit slippery during use. The early check in at 12 noon was appreciated.

Stair case was rather dirty and pot plants coukd use a little attention. Bed was comfortable and shower was terrific.

- 333rayi (2/5): Won't stay again - Mould around the shower base corner with no screen causing the toilet area to flood with no mop to clean it up, the tv didnt work for all channels, most power points were hanging out of the wall, uncomfortable bed, one bed side table lamp didn't work, there was a hole in wall and cieling, the cornice was breaking away from the cieling above the windows/glass door, the towels stunk after drying yourself, unsafe wobbly chairs and dining table. the bottom of the freezer had 2" thick with ice, almost everything was sticky. We didn't get the room we booked, there's not much nice to say about the room we were given really except the split system worked ok for heating.

Bed spreads were both so dirty I pulled them off the beds. And the matching pillows. Sheets were clean. Heater didn’t work, it was cold so lucky it had electric blankets. Bathroom was clean, floors were clean. Very disappointed with heater and bedding. I did take photos.
- 569vickim (6/5): Terrible experience - I was booked in for 8 nights but left 4 days early as I couldn't handle the smell any longer and the mould in the heater/air con was too much. The bedding was stained, the towels smelt like they were folded up and not washed. The dust in the room and the curtains were hanging off and it was like daylight all night. And that's just a little bit of what I found. I was told that management might give me a refund for early check out but doubt that. Would not recommend staying here at all.

No map or any literature to find your way around Moe in the rooms considering that most of the time the office is shut and there is only self check in it seems for a lot of the Time. Gone down hill a bit used to be quite good. Disappointed!

- Samantha (4/5): - We picked this property as we are a family with kids and the entertainment said a smart tv with premium channels, digital channels and Netflix. The tv was unusable with no aerial and was not connected to the internet with no way of connecting it to the internet and the property had no staff on site at all. They had a number you can call for assistance but they said they do not help with the tv in their welcome message. There is also no room service as stated in their ad. There was no working air con as stated in the ad (lucky we didn’t need it), and the only heating was an oil heater which was not enough to fill such a big space. Pretty disappointing all around.

The self check in was an easy and seamless process, the rooms were clean, had a large bathroom and sufficient ammenities (large fridge and freezer, microwave etc.). The beautiful floorboards and Netflix account added to my stay (somehow blew my mind to find a hotel with floorboards rather than ratty carpet).

We left before staying our booked 2nd night as there was a loud violent woman around the property and in the room next door to us. management didn’t chose to evict this woman, police couldn’t assist so we left. Unfortunately the key didn't dispenser properly and I had to call reception, and she was great, sorted it out quickly and i got the key. The bed is on wheels and they’re not lockable so every little movement sends it scooting. The door was missing the chain for the security lock. With a little effort and little money, this room easily could have had a much better rating.

- Kenneth (2/5): Among the worst rooms we've stayed in - Room 11 was booked as a "deluxe" - it was not - the property was very untidy with fallen tree leaves all over paths and it was a wet miserable night making for a tripping hazard - made worse by the fact the exterior lighting was not working outside that bank of rooms - forced use the phone torch to find our way in an extremely dark area of the motel - Room was old, tired and badly in need of renovation. Bathroom had mould on the walls and was filthy up under the pelmet where the flouro light sat over the vanity - Air con head was filthy - we cleaned the outside of it by standing on the bed - filter pads and unit not cleaned in months - Freezer part of fridge was frozen solid and totally un-useable - wall of the cabinet beside the fridge was mouldy and there was a gaping hole in the plaster wall under the bench in what I would say used to be the fridge compartment - Curtains appeared fairly new linen appeared clean but towells were dark green and not traditional white and sheets were brown - was advertised as Breakfast available for purchase but was not - no staff sighted during stay at all - automated check-in - carpet stained in a number of areas - cutlery/crockery area was clean as was the vanity top in Bathroom - tiling in bathroom in a very bad way - the whole place was pretty dark and dingy - was taken up with owner a few days later and stated we should have asked for a renovated room - not stated and we did opt for a "deluxe" - whole place needs a total re-vamp.
